Then it will give the "bad" players motivation to become "good" players.

No, it will keep the "bad" players in the "bad" players queue forever because they'll keep losing vs the raid boss constantly. Trying to gatekeep matchmaking between the "good" and the "bad" players is a terrible idea and shouldn't even be thought of.

Than that would devalue IV changing items which im not sure is good or bad

They're not particularly expensive at the time I'm posting this:

And I'm not sure if they'd be devalued, after all you're trading a legendary for them :3

People treat gallade like you should wall it to win. That's not the case. Gallade is a wallbreak, it's meant to break every wall that would be trying to hold you. To win vs it you has to outoffense it and with the poor physical bulk and Psychic/Fighting not providing that many resistances and 0 immunitys(It's a great offensive type but not defensively, one basically cancels the resistances of the other. ) , it's not that hard to actuallt Break it. 80s is not a great speed tier, it's mid, so either you use Scarf which give free turns to opponents, which is deadly when the meta is revolved around Offense, or you won't outspeed a lot. My team for reference, the only thing slower than Gallade without Scarf, is Scizor. And he has prioritys anyways. Basically Gallade cannot enter on my team, everything outspeed it. Not even on the Special Attackers he can, because The special attackers have huge threats to gallade like Serperior that is game over if snowballs, Zapdos has discharge which can para it, and Suicune has a Scald to burn it. So even having a good special bulk is not helping it.

What is so hard to understand about the fact that if Gallade enters into something it threatens, you're almost guaranteed to lose a Pokémon on the switch, pretty similar to the problem Hydreigon created? It's not that people want to kill it by walling it, it's about the fact that nothing in the OU metagame can switch into it safely or without taking heavy damage that can then guarantee a  KO from a teammate. And like gb said, it's not that there aren't a million calcs to prove what I said, it's that it's pointless to show you because you'll go on a tangent and completely miss the point even when confronted when objective truths like when you obsessed about Empoleon not being good because it's a UU mon.

Any other mon I'd accept that there's room for discussion, but Gallade has been talked about and agreed upon it being too much for our current metagame with its coverage, its damage output and the availability of different builds. Which is what Godhelll was mentioning. And it's always people who don't understand the meta + don't play enough games at a high enough elo who think that a mon that basically forces you to lose a piece from your team no matter what is somewhat tolerable. Hydreigon had a million checks in the meta, and it had to go for this exact reason: on first encounter, you'd be almost always losing a mon to it due to how hard it hits; no matter if it was because it chipped your pivots enough so that others could take them, or if it was because its set was unknown until it made a move. 1,5x Sharpness has no place in this meta, period. 1,3x was fine since it more or less acted like Hustle in a way, 1,4x was a bit too much to take on some 2HKO scenarios. And this is the last time I'm gonna respond to your schizoposting about it because there's obviously no point in giving you any argument, you'll just derail and start yapping about how whatever niche mon six seasons ago was somewhat similar or something like that.

It's funny how the worst players, and those who play the least, find nothing to complain about Gallade. It’s really surprising! (could that be a joke or any coincidence? 1494151894-risimix.png)

In the meantime, the best players are rightly complaining about it with proofs and demonstrations (as we have already seen on previous topics concerning Gallade)

You forgot to mention good players that use it so they don't want it banned so they can keep abusing it like it happened with Hydreigon

  5. Don't get me wrong, no matter the reason it was implemented for, the shiny boost was really nice and made it feel like a Christmas-like feature. Gifts for everyone, more shiny odds to get their fav shinies. But it was what it was, or it felt like it at the very least.

Luckily, Seaking doesn't have Lightningrod Ability yet & it's not even a Dragon Type too lol.

I’m pretty sure Scrafty is not a bird and still it was there during the rooster raid because it kind of resembles one, who knows what can show up with Gyara following that logic 😛

Have used 2m+ worth of legendary lures and have been non stop doing single encounters but no suicune.

The current system and legendary lure as an item is clearly messed up. Please fix.

And it wouldn’t be as bad if Johto beasts were the only roaming legendaries, but rather we have 2 monthly legendaries to hunt with this mechanic. Either the rate needs to drop, or maybe the birds need to be put in a rotating raid now that we have them. Although dropping the rate, even if the latter was the case, would still be nice because since the payday shadow nerf in Johto there’s no point in running left to right to find the beasts. The only real benefit, if anything, is shiny hunting whatever spawns on that route, but it being a somewhat “forced” shiny hunt strips all the fun/joy/drive that it could have.

Raids are amazing and have so much potential, so if Akshit’s suggestion doesn’t end up happening for whatever reason devs can think of that we, as players, cannot see yet (future plans or something they’re currently working on) I’d say that when they have more free time to think and work on them they should totally consider a nice, hard enough 5 star raid for at least the birds.

I hope the prize for beating all these raids is not Shaymin. Basically a new feature to obtain an old reward. Ewww

This I don’t mind at all. The feature is amazing and using it to give us an old reward is still a great test for it, which is the entire point of us getting the raids with this event. It having to be 12 raids because of last year’s alphas also lets them experiment with their mechanics and make them different like Rache mentioned above. Overall I’m super happy with the entire raids mechanics, I’m having so much fun doing them as soon as they drop every day with my friends, meeting on purpose for them and laughing at each other whenever the boss decides to f*** one of us in particular ❤️

For what's it's worth, Rock Tomb can also do that.

I think with Rock Tomb you miss the 2HKO on Starmie of EQ+ SP but I might be wrong on this. Although the real point is that, yeah, Duggy’s moveset is already packed as is, Endeavor would be like the last move you’d want on it.

Endeavor + sucker punch is fine, and sub is.... Dugtrio need eq+reversal+rock tomb, You have to give up one of them and loss huge amont of pkm to kill, and in real game it is hard to success.

And I would argue Sucker Punch is kind of a must too if you want to succesfully trap and kill lead Focus Sash Excadrills that will Rapid Spin turn 1 to break your sash then outspeed you and EQ. Same goes for trapping and killing stuff like Starmie that might have spinned before Dug even enters the field. Endeavor is just garbage on Dug no matter how you look at it, it might be a cute idea and could work in some scenarios but for the sake of consistency in its building it's just not good. There's a reason why Endeavor + prio move isn't used on ANY Pokémon at all, and while Arena Trap allows it to be somewhat more effective, at that point you just have a gimmick mon that doesn't really represent what Dugtrio does.

But it will always be the same music. I'd like to enjoy the music that was chosen by sound designers to fit with the maps.

…you realize that in the original Pokémon games the bike music also replaces every other background music when you start riding it, right?

    The rate is fair

    WWWW @RysPicz mentioned 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

The story I hate the most about my shiny adventures is how trying to get a shiny Ferroseed I instead got 3 shiny Klinks (now Klink, Klang and Klinklang) at Chargestone Cave which made me give up because I'm weak and soft. I think two of them made me go up to 40k ish and one of them was at 85k encounters. The longest was a Marill I got while EV training HP at around 120k, at that point I had given up on getting the Ferro and was just training my comps.

The most satisfactory one was when I literally got Donator Status, a friend invited me to a charm and 60 encounters after all that I got shiny Larvitar. Good stuff 😄
