  3. its such a shame this game doesn't have a way to replay battles, because these questions are really really hard to answer when you're going off of just remembering the battle post-hoc, especially that second question.
  4. I don't quite understand how this would work in an MMO where everyone has an instant teleport mapped to a number key on their hotbar. If a player wants a specific item they just fly to the different cities which would allow access to each market, check the prices and get the best deal. Just a clunkier and slower method than what we already have and still just as vulnerable to the inflation you're concerned about. I just don't think we fight inflation by making things more irritating to buy. The reason why that thing you describe happens in real economies is because people tend to want to stay in one area for long periods of time. There are a huge number of obvious reasons people don't move and next to none of those apply to an MMO. I guess a way of simulating that would be to lock players into a market and they would have to pay a high price to move to a different one, which may even be a nice money sink. The objection then becomes: this system would be extremely unfriendly for new players. It is a big risk to split the playerbase into 8!!! separate, functionally identical markets, as you run the risk of people being too fractured to make the economy work, or otherwise people just pool into a few of the markets and you still have an inflation problem. You also risk scaring off new players who by chance get put into a dead or overpriced market and now suddenly they need to accrue funds to just play the MMO part of the game normally. This modified solution isn't immune from inflation anyway because I guarantee there will be a large amount of flipping between markets from players running multiple characters.

  6. I dunno I am just getting really demoralized by losing all the time and I can't even go back to try and figure out what went wrong and when.
  7. Could also just have the user choose. So they can decide "I am a UU player and I want to show as much off even though technically my randoms elo is higher" or whatever.
  8. I can't be the only one who finds it annoying to have to press confirm to dismiss the text box before the battle starts or I can re-cast. It's just makes things a lot more clunky than I think it needs to be.
  9. It would be cool if Teams had box(es?) where members could put in Pokemon, then other members could pull them out for a certain amount of time. It would be useful for stuff like pre-made competitive Pokemon, or gym rerun teams that other Team members could borrow. Maybe have expansion drives for more rental boxes that teams could save up collectively to buy or something.

My goal here is to use Weavile, and the rest was just my ideas to fight the meta, and also keep things balanced. Any major holes? Is it weak to something? Any help appreciated.
  12. Are there plans to make changes which will allow these poorly programmed, but nonetheless harmless applications to work alongside PokeMMO? Is the team at least looking into the feasibility of such a change? If such a change is impossible (due to some limitation of the Android OS, I work in software and I get it, sometimes things like this happen on these platforms) or even undesirable would you guys be willing to announce as much? Perhaps even include a list of "false positive" apps which future users can be made aware of and potentially avoid. If not, why? I want to try and be constructive here, because emotions are really running high about this anti-cheat.
  13. Just seems odd to me that you have to catch the Pokemon before you can see what type it is.
