Battle Tower
After consulting with DragoTamer, I am unable to share his specific team, but he has guided me to two very successful Battle Tower Teams which I will share below
BoltBoy’s team: https://forums.pokemmo.com/index.php?/topic/143507-battle-tower-db-guide/#comment-1871816
MullenYu’s team: https://forums.pokemmo.com/index.php?/topic/141088-【pve】推塔指南(双打版)/
I understand that Mullen’s post is in Chinese, but after putting the Pokémon’s information into google translate, I was able to decipher it, so I recommend doing the same!
There was a seasoned player (@HumongousNoodle) that reached out to me about two Battle Tower Strats. I hope you enjoy his method! The image may look a bit big...
Battle Tower Strat 1:
SpoilerSpoilerThis are direct quotes from @HumongousNoodle on the Battle Tower Strat:
"Its a form of setup mons.
You lead Dusc + Sweeper
Ally switch a few times to set up for free
Then force the 2v1"
"I've had post 130 winstreaks with this in early 2020"
"Gimme a few to pokepaste the other team"
"For ribboning you usually replace Blastoise"
"Always play this in Co-op, not doubles.""Setupmons works best when you can do 2v1 as soon as possible. And in co op you only need to kill 2 mons. In doubles you need to kill three."
"A few points of interest:
You run yache berry mainly to reduce the chance of freezes. (Tower AI is less likely to use ice type moves if you prep against it)
If dusclops gets low health, (as in ohko range) dont ally switch, but helping hand or Pain Split to soft taunt the AI."Battle Tower Strat 2:
SpoilerSpoilerThis are direct quotes from @HumongousNoodle on the Battle Tower Strat:
"Team 2 for battle tower."
"Lead situation is Chandelure + Hariyama."
"Crawdaunt is usually replaced for Ribbon mon.""Rly good strat for farming Tower in general, its very very consistent once you hit the "ubers" tier of mon."
Elite Four Rematches
Strategy 1: This Elite Four Rematch strategy was mentioned to me by @HumongousNoodle, however it originated from a player by the name of @iapapa.
SpoilerSpoilerThese are direct quotes by @HumongousNoodle:
"Comments by him [@iapapa] regarding the team for ribbons, best mon to cut will be either Reuniclus or Electrode."
"Chandelure flashfire is a must because of flareblitz."
"Always lead Skarmory."
"Usable for any E4."(I put in bold the pokemon that was not mentioned in the video)
SpoilerVideo of this strat being used by @iapapa:
"side note: actually, after I started bringing serperior more and more, NPC started to run some chanseys and spdef umbreons with toxic, which sounds annoying at first, but it's the perfect strat to get up a free sub and safely boost urself to +4/+6" - @iapapa
Strategy 2: This Elite Four Rematch strategy was mentioned to me by someone anynmous. However, the strategy was displayed and written by @BigDaddyAlex. This also included helpful spreadsheets, a video, and a PokePaste of the Team he used. For more excellent information on this, then feel free to check out his guide!

SpoilerNotes from DragoTamer
- Doubles in battle tower is the best way to get ribbons on your Pokémon. If you want to craft your own team, keep in mind that some teams work differently in co-op mode vs. doubles by yourself. This being said, there are multiple teams that work assuming you, as the reader, want to try creating your own team. While Mullen’s and BoltBoy’s strategies are published, there are many unpublished ones. A big tip I would give you all is to take a look at doubles in PvP. A lot of Battle Tower Doubles comes from PvP doubles.
- Swampert can have rindo berry.
- Dragonite has multiscale and can be holding leftovers or white herb.
- Typhlosion has flash fire.
o Eruption+ally switch can wear down multiscale
- Eject button is a consumable item and you can stock up at the Battle Tower exchange shop
- Mantine has extremely high special defense
- Houndoom is most likely sashed
- Double rock slide can be dangerous due to the higher chance of being flinched so plan carefully and do not rush your turns
- If you want to use trick room, shuckle and dunsparce are faster than torkoal
- Pokemon like armaldo, marowak, golem, etc. can use rock slide
- If you are unsure of which move can deal the most damage, use the showdown damage calculator
- Pokemon in Battle Tower can have multiple builds/movesets so move accordingly
- Articuno can have the custap berry, sheer cold build

PokeMMO Ribbon Assistance
Introduction
Welcome! If you are reading this guide, you are most likely curious as to how to obtain all the ribbons PokeMMO has to offer as of this moment. Rather than giving a lengthy intro, I would like to give a short preface and dive into the functional aspects. This guide will not provide you much additional details. The goal is to give you an easy roadmap to obtaining all the ribbons because I do not want to write more than what you need to know. This info comes directly from @DragoTamer and every tip/secret he used. Also, quite a bit of the guide has been ghost written by him to ensure the accuracy of the information given (full props to him for writing really well in the third person).
Contest Moveset
Move Template: Curse/Endure, Façade, Giga Impact/Hyper Beam, Double edge/close combat/superpower/etc.
Curse/endure lets you move to position 4. Façade lets you earn the max number of hearts for that move since you are in fourth position, and it also keeps you safe from moves that give black hearts to Pokémon ahead of them. Giga impact/Hyper beam works best in position 4 particularly in the last turn. This gives you 4 hearts and take away 4 hearts from the Pokémon ahead of you, unless they have the oblivious status. Double edge/close combat/superpower are all moves that give you a lot of hearts but if you get hit by a move that takes away your hearts, you lose more than normal. Use moves like double edge/close combat/superpower wisely.
If you look at the above move types, you’ll find that they aren’t all cool type, beauty type, cute type, smart type, or tough type. The biggest misconception is that you need different moves for different contests, and this will cost you more Pokéyen. You just need a strategy of moves which the above moveset allows you to do.
DragoTamer mapped out as many moves as he could for NPCs in master rank. The reason he focused on Master Rank is because if you use his move template from above, you will have absolutely no issues on reaching master rank.
There are certain things to watch out for. Certain Pokémon can use quick attack to position themselves in first place and then use swift. Espeon is an example. Other Pokémon like heracross and wobbuffet can use endure and curse respectively to position themselves in fourth place and then use moves like façade to gain a lot of points too. If a Pokémon uses a move that makes them oblivious, a move that takes away hearts won’t work on them unless you have two Pokémon using a move that takes away hearts. An example is if a Pokémon uses a move that gives them oblivious status and Pokémon in position 2 uses hyper beam, oblivious saves them from losing hearts, but if a Pokémon in position 3 also uses hyper beam, Pokémon 1 will then lose hearts.
There will be Pokémon that can only use some or may not be able to use any of the above moves that are listed. In cases like these, DragoTamer has given me a list of Pokémon from his previous orders and the movesets he used so that they can serve as a source of inspiration for you. He has shared a link which I will include below to see the effects of each move. In a situation where you have Pokémon like unown, ditto, magikarp, etc. DragoTamer stated that the best way is to use a single partner to assist you. The best Pokémon for your partner to have is a Tyranitar that knows double team, hyper beam, and hone claws. This Pokémon and moveset allows your partner to perfectly coordinate with you. In turn 1, you use curse/endure and they use double team or hone claws. In turn 2, you use façade and your partner uses hyper beam. In turn 3, you use curse/endure and your partner will naturally end up in position 3. Repeat the above process. Double Team is a cool type move so you use Hone claws whenever you are in a cool type contest. The cost of making this Tyranitar for support purposes is very cheap and the only significant drawback is that Tyranitar needs to have ribbons up to hyper rank. This isn’t too big of a drawback because you only need ribbons up to hyper rank and you can obtain those quickly.
The above table is not a complete list of Pokémon that DragoTamer worked with, but it is a large enough sample for you to understand the standard set of moves he used as well as some variation
Contests Pokeblock recipes
A White Pokéblock needs all 5 flavor profiles. A White Pokéblock Plus needs a very in all categories.
Black Pokéblocks -1 Enigma berry + 1 random berry - Need: 27 Enigma + 27 Random for 27 blocks
Red Pokéblock Plusses - 3 Figy berries - Need 48 Figy for 16 blocks
Yellow Pokéblock Plusses - 3 iapapa berries - 96 iapapa for 32 blocks; 4 aspear berries - Need 128 apsear for 32 Blocks
Green Pokéblock Plusses - 3 Aguav berries - 48 Aguav for 16 blocks
Pink Pokéblock Plusses - 3 Mago berries - Need 48 Mago for 16 blocks
Blue Pokéblock Plusses - 3 Wiki berries - Need 48 Wiki for 16 blocks
White Pokéblock Plusses - 1 Starf berry + 1 Petaya berry + 1 Payapa berry - Need 16 Starf + 16 Petaya + 16 Payapa for 16 blocks
Order of completing contests
- First Coolnesss and toughness: max both
- Feed black pokéblocks
- Next Smartness and Toughness: max both
- Feed black pokéblocks
- Third max Cute and Beauty: max both
- Feed black pokéblocks
- Fourth max whatever stats you like. (16 white pokéblock plusses to raise all contest stats equally)
1. Feed 16 red Pokéblock plusses and 16 yellow Pokéblock plusses. Complete all of cool and tough contests including master rank. Use the process mentioned above for teaming up with a single friend in a link to complete the master rank in a surefire way. Otherwise you can still complete it yourself, but it may take longer
2. Feed 9 black Pokéblock when you have completed all cool and tough contests including master rank
3. Feed 16 yellow Pokéblock plusses and 16 green Pokéblock plusses. Complete all smart contests including master rank
4. Feed 9 black Pokéblocks when you have completed all smart contests
5. Feed 16 cute Pokéblock plusses and 16 blue Pokéblock plusses. Complete cute and beauty contests including master rank
6. Feed 9 black Pokéblocks when you have completed all smart contests
7. Feed Pokéblocks of your choice now to have your contests stats appear as you like. DragoTamer achieved his even contest screen by using 16 white Pokéblock plusses using the recipe listed above. He created that recipe with @LordHydra‘s help
Working together with a partner to speed things up. To assist with master ranks with a friend, have a Pokémon know the following:
- Hyper Beam or Giga Impact
- Double Team (cool)
- Hone Claws
Tyranitar is a perfect choice. It’s cheap to obtain one. The moves themselves are cheap as well. This is stated above, but it is also included here in case you miss it. The only drawback is that Tyranitar needs to have all hyper rank ribbons to assist you, but it is not difficult to get it all hyper rank ribbons. You don’t exactly need Tyranitar, it can be another pokemon that has ribbons up to hyper rank at least. You also don’t need all three moves above as long as you have Hyper beam or Giga impact and one of the two moves.
Contest Categories and Ranks
There are five contest categories: Beauty, Coolness, Cuteness, Smartness and Toughness. And each contest category has four ranks: Normal, Super, Hyper and Master. Each category also has a set of moves that are favored by the crowd (beauty moves for beauty contest), compatible moves and incompatible moves as seen in table below:
This above table comes from the guide that @Myyshka wrote. Thank you for creating such a beautiful table!
Rewards from winning master ranks contests include berries, rare candies, luxury balls, nuggets, heart scales, etc.
Costs you should plan for
Total contest costs: 460,000
Costs for one contest category: 216,000
Battle Tower: About 100,000 (adjusting moves, EVs, etc.)
All Normal + Super + Hyper: 360,000
EV Berries + EV training outsourcing: 136,000
Note: These values may differ when you go into contests. These are rough calculations to plan for, not exact calculations to expect.
Times
Each contest ribbon except Master: 5 minutes, 20 seconds
Master ranks can also be 5 minutes and 20 seconds each roughly, each time, as long as you obtain help using a Pokémon with 2-3 specific moves I listed earlier.
Master Rank NPC Pokémon movesets.
Delcatty: attract, safeguard, doubleslap, fake out
Electrode: electro ball, explosion, discharge, sonicboom
Espeon: swift, morning sun, quick attack, tail whip
Gengar: lick, confuse ray, destiny bond, sludge bomb
Gyarados: thrash, crunch, hyper beam, dragon dance
Heracross: Endure, Reversal, counter, fury attack
Loudred: retaliate, hyper voice, echoed voice
Pichu: tail whip, sweet kiss, attract, charm
Porygon: conversion, recycle, conversion 2, return
Sharpedo: agility, take down, swagger, taunt
Wobbuffet: mirror coat, counter, safeguard, destiny bond
--
Altaria: dragon dance, outrage, draco meteor,
Bellosom: petal dance, sweet scent, flash,
Dragonite: slam, outrage, twister,
Kirlia: trick room, psych up,
Luvdisc: charm, attract, sweet kiss,
Meowth: growl, pay day,
Sableye: knock off, faint attack, mean look,
Slaking: slack off, chip away, counter,
Slowking: facade, yawn, focus punch,
Togepi: encore, yawn,
Ursaring: fake tears, aerial ace, leer
Note: DragoTamer mapped out all these moves and stated that although some Pokémon only have 3 out of 4 moves mapped, the fourth move does not matter because the chances of the NPC having their Pokémon use the fourth move is so low that it is just never used. You’ll see through regular playing that the moves that are mapped out are the ones that will make contests tough.
Ribbon Syndicate
Please reference the guide that I have written about the Ribbon Syndicate: https://forums.pokemmo.com/index.php?/topic/131739-ribbon-guide-and-how-to-access-the-ribbon-syndicate/
Effort Ribbon
To obtain the effort ribbon, you must ensure the Pokémon of your choice has obtained a total of 510 EVs. After doing so, go to the Slateport Market and talk to the NPC shown below. You can also do this at the Sunyshore Marketplace as well.
Known Bugs to watch out for and to avoid
1. When you are playing contests, do not open a summary screen of your Pokémon at any point. Depending on when you open it, it will turn into a giant black box, and you cannot close it until you leave the contest
2. Once you agree to enter a contest, do not disconnect. If you do need to disconnect, only do it once your character is on the stage. Depending on the instance in which you connect, you will be warped to a bugged location in which you will need to use the unstuck command. (This bug is the worst btw)
3. Fatal rend error is possibly on windows if you’ve got music streaming services or too many windows open while you’re in the middle of a contest.
The information above is pretty much everything you need to complete the contests. There is a lot more info in terms of theoretics and other aspects that you can check out below. The information above is purely what DragoTamer uses and has compiled, and he has had great success. He has since retired from the business and you can check out his shop here:

Make it accessible as well hhhh
The Park was suppose to help transfer pokemon from your GameBoy Advance Games to your Platinum game. However, this function is not needed since we have a PC system that is shared. I can catch a pokemon from FireRed and travel to Sinnoh to pick up the same pokemon from my box.

Any fast paced guide to just complete storyline for alternative accounts? (Avoiding Items and Trainers except the important ones)
I help people troubleshoot through the story, however this sort of thinking hurts people. They skip trainers and when the big gym fight arrives, then medicines are spammed due to being underleveled. Experience gain is important.
Unless you are great with the story like @RysPicz or @MightyBoxer, you may want to avoid NPC skipping.
All the best with your ventures Kittu15.

Hi again sir. In kanto route 10, two pokemons should be added: Dratini and Dragonair. I used a superrod to test if I'm able to get one of the two, I did caught one dratini on Kanto Route 10. If you open your in-game pokedex, you are able to see this info:
Superrod Kanto Route 10: Dratini (Rare)
Superrod Kanto Route 10: Dragonair (Very Rare)
Unfortunately, it is not found on Pokemmo wiki. Someone should tell them!
Thank you mentioning this. These new encounters are now documented.

IDK if this is already asked but can you make a item that guarantee a hidden ability like they did for the ability patch in the main Pokemon games or add a service to change it to a pokemon's hidden ability for a certain amount of battle points
You are in luck my friend because Baron Moray would like to chat with you.
