Passive Vanity Set Bonuses

This idea would be to offer some benefits to lesser used/painstaking areas of the game. Keep in mind, these vanities would be expensive, the '2.5%' variable used is an estimated placeholder for the idea, and would need proper balancing where increases are concerned. I feel this accomplishes something quite similar to what the Ocarinas do, and if balanced correctly could only really serve to benefit those who are undergoing an inevitably long & possibly fruitless hunt.

Safari Set: 
4/4 (Hat/Top/Bottom/Back)
Reduces the chance safari encounters will flee by 2.5%

Excavator Set:
4/4 (Top/Bottom/Back/Gloves)
2.5% chance to find an additional fossil

Caretaker Set:
4/4 (Hat/Top/Bottom/Back)

Egg hatching time is reduced by 2.5%

Sparkling Set:
4/4 (Hat/Top/Bottom/Back)
If a shiny Pokemon leads your party, encounter rates increase by 2.5%

These are just a handful I could think of, but I am mostly interested in the idea of collectable vanities with some minor functions in the world. The idea really can be summed up in the title.

I've seen a similar suggestion a year ago or so, it's a good one. Fishing outfit too !

Such things should be harder to optain than just buying them. 

Give them as a reward for a quest line and make them untradable. 

For example get the breeding set for completing your OT dex. 

The Safari one for 1000 rare encounters in each Safari or something like that.

the 1000 meetings in safari layers is very beast imagine a shiny XD

However, I like this proposition since it adds more value to being online and meeting the typical goals of filling the dex or raising more

It would be great if it only applied with your ot or that it only works when you already have 10  or more ot shinys registered

It's easier to see something more garbage like Lure (or Luke smh), for RPs, of course.

This would also be a great option, but a bit more complex to implement.

I love your suggestion but its a pretty safe bet the staff already thought about several versions of this idea in the past but never implemented any of them for some reason.

 

 

I like all the pokemmo staff but sometimes I like to imagine the staff go out to the development floor of the Pokemmo building and read out loud all our suggestions, in a mocking voice and laugh at us xD.

This is such a cool idea! fishing would be a good idea too, or maybe an amulet coin themed one - or exp! Would be nice to implement it as a questline/reward or achievement for doing something in game, making them untradeable would be good too - something to really show you put in the effort!
