Pokemon Fan Paints Incredible Scene of Kanto Region

Trainers, prepare to embark on an exciting 8-week journey through the Kanto region! Each week, you'll face a new challenge inspired by one of Kanto's legendary Gym Leaders and their signature Pokémon. From Brock’s sturdy Rock-types to Sabrina’s powerful Psychic team, every week offers a fresh opportunity to test your skills and capture new Pokémon that reflect the strengths of these iconic leaders.

But there’s more than just glory on the line. Throughout the event, you’ll earn points based on the IVs of your best Pokémon submissions each week. Accumulate at least 800 total points over the course of 8 weeks of catch events to qualify for the grand finale, where Kanto’s Fossil Pokémon will take center stage. Only the most dedicated trainers will have the chance to compete for the ultimate prize—a rare, Shiny Fossil Pokémon, a symbol of mastery and dedication.

Do you have what it takes to gather the points and unlock the secrets of Kanto’s ancient past? Your adventure starts now!

Example:
SneakyBear submitted an Onix worth 156 total points (Sum of IVs + Species bonus + Nature bonus) in week 1, this means he'll get 156 points out of the 800 required to qualify for the finale.

  • Hey guys!   Based on feedback - we've decided to up the amount of points needed to qualify for the finales from 400 > 800. Thanks for your comments :)

I think you missunderstand my core issue. Not saying it should necessarily be easy to qualify but the requirements are so heavily biased to certain timezones. It is basically a free pass to qualify fo

these prizes are so much better than the shiny wars xD. Would of been nice to see you guys put rewards in this for a longer event which required more time and money but its all good! This catch event looks fire 🔥

Spreadsheets, its always spreadsheets, and cause its a catch event they don't need the mod tools to confirm entries

So, do we get the whole week for our catches every week? Or is there gonna be designated catching windows like typical catch events.

id assume just like normal catch events, 1 hour per week at the designated time

GREAT event. Def taking part in it but one thing was not clear to me (maybe is a language barrier since english is not my first language): does the points from the catching events count to the final score or just serve as a qualification for the final , when the winner takes all?

(HantomPro join's to event!) i have a question, i don't understand so much, so, is a hunt rock type pokemon all in kanto? or only onix? i'm really get confused, sorry, is my first time in capture event participation.

its basically 8 different catch events combined into 1 mega event across 8 weeks

What the Fluff, these prizes are better than almost all of the PvP seasonal!

Can't believe you included Aerodactyl. That's too much fam.

? a lot of major multi week pvp tournaments have similar prizes. For example an 8 week doubles tour had a shiny metagross as a prize

Metagross =/= Aerodactyl or really any of those fossils

you significantly overestimate how rare and hard fossil shinies are to get.

Is the only requirement for getting points just submitting? If I just submit 4 100 iv pokemon im in the final? Or are only the 3 top submissions counted and all the other players get 0?

Would be crazy, basically no one would make finals if that was the case

Just asking cause the other way everyone's making finals

Yeah, just submit. We want more people to qualify for finals 🙂 it's this way by design.

So if we qualify for finals, the score resets to 0 and we get one final catch event?

Or is it just cumulative over the course of 8 weeks?

Your score to qualify for the finals is cumulative over the 8 weeks, then the final is it's own event where it's just a catch event format too but your score for only this event counts (the finale)
