Finally a cat starter! I am so hyped to play this now, the grass and water starters look amazing too.

I am disappointed in the starters. Legends look like digimon... Yeah, my hype level just went to 5/100. Only reason it is 5 is because the overworld looks cool.

There's an Earth globe in the ad. It's confirmed that the game world is Earth, as I'm very sure they used a non-earth planet for the anime.

My predictions for the starters final form dual typings:

 

Litten - Fire/Steel - the spikey fur on it's tail, back and whiskers really makes me lean towards steel. Also I think Litten will be based on a tiger and a steel tiger would be awesome. Fire and Steel typing would also be a great typing against powerful Fairy types.

 

Rowlet - Grass/Flying - rather lazy guessing from me but I cant really see past the obvious. Rowlet is definitely a cutie though and I hope it's final form is elegant rather than beefed up like they tend to do with starters. :)

 

Popplio - Water/Fighting - there always seems to be one starter that gets lumped with the Fighting type and I think that this time it will be poor Popplio. I also feel kinda sorry for it because it is definitely out shined by the other two. 

 

I have to say that these are by far my favourite group of starters since Generation 2 and I am hyped!

Apperantly littens evo is going to be fire/ground and popplios evo is gonna be water/fighting. I checked the urls for myself and it's legit

 

 

Edit: not so sure if one of those icons is fighting though, looks like rock to me. I don't speak moon runes so I wouldn't know

I think litten will be fire/rock not ground because if popplio is water fighting then grass/flying will completely screw it and water/fighting will completely screw fire/rock and fire/rock will completely screw grass/flying. if we are basing type off of that video
