[UU Discussion] Typhlosion [Banned to BL1]

October's TT, Semifinal SweeTforU vs Axoa, Axoa with slowking, cradily and tentacruel still got raped by SCARF typhlosion, you're right guys, this is not broken at all, it's Axoa fault for having no check or counters to typhlosion *FacePalm*

Well, Cradily is a premier sdef wall right now. Sdef wall means it's designed to soak special attacks. My battle showed an example, where a dedicated spec wall failed at it's job. And actually, any other would fail as well- Hypno dies, Altaria takes HEAVY damage (although it's more often a defensive wall), Miltank barely lives 2 Eruptions, Clefable dies. Why I gave it as an example of Typhlosion being blatantly broken, is to show how I can just sit with it and click "eruption". Maybe he missplayed by giving me Cradily on silver plate and maybe he didn't come prepared for it (although he still didn't reveal 2 pokes). But is this really a healthy tier, where Slowking will probably climb on top of usage boards just because it has a chance to counter typhlosion (a chance- it's not even a surefire answer!)?

 

I myself, had slowking in literally every match. Guess why?

As for the personal stuff, I'm unsure if you noticed but in every thread, even a discussion one, some posts have to be less serious and not completly on topic and there's no reason to be an ass about it. Not to mention your posts do not bring anything new to the discussion, at all, except for personal attacks which should never have place in a discussion thread.

And what's the usage of Mantine, Flareon and Magcargo in UU before Typhlosion had come into the picture? This is just like saying Tyranitar is not op because it gets walled by bulky hitmontop / machamp / hariyama. If you're gonna prove that Typhlosion isn't op, use calcs pertaining to what pokemon with decent usage in UU can deal with it.

Let´s see:

People claim Snorlax  not worth to be uber cause it can only run 4 moves, not allowing him to mess the whole tier with one set.

Now, people claim typhlosion to be worth banned because it can run 453 moves, and with them, sweep the whole tier. 

????????????????????????????

Looking for common sense, pay 300m

 

Note, I´m in for banning Typhlosion, but please don´t be biased about it. If you have a legit argument against its stay, do it, but make sure you dont use the exact same argument for the opposite thing on another pokemon.

well if lax would get the boot and typh was ou the only answer would be slowking...cause mixed sets with eq, tpunch, eruption, extrasensory, hp and focus punch. cant blame em.
