So now that Comp Alley is a bit dead with no PSL week going on at the moment, I’d like to take advantage of the silence to pitch this idea (and to bring some life into this graveyard goddamn). I’m planning on running another big event after PSL and something similar has already been done. The Battle Series would basically be a draft league, like Orange did a few years ago. But I’m planning on doing it bigger and better POG.
 
 
For the once that don’t know, a draft league is where each participating player is a ‘manager’, but instead of managing a player team you’re managing a Pokémon team. The mons that will make it to your team will be determined by a draft (hence the name). Draft leagues are a lot of fun because you get to see all sorts of Pokemon being used competitively with a wide array of strategies. There are no ‘tiers’ per se in a draft league, because players pick mons in order it is unlikely a player will end up with many OU mons. It also depends on the way a league organizes their draft.
 
 
The downside to a draft league in PokeMMO is that it takes resources to make Pokémon for your team. Because you have insight on what your opponent can bring you can play with many sets and EV spreads, but these take time and ingame funds to accomplish.
 
 
Despite that I think draft league can revitalize many players that feel a bit sick of the current metagame, be it any tier. So here is how I propose this draft league to work. First, the draft would be a ‘free draft’. So there is no point system, or any tier system. Any mon (that I haven’t banned) would be free to be picked. So if other players would allow it, one player could have 6 OUs on their roster (for example).
 
 
Second every team would have a manager and co-manager. So basically 2 players pilot a team. Both players would be allowed to be the battler. I think this brings needed flexibility in scheduling and has the added benefit that players can work together in teambuilding and doing the actual breeding/EVing ingame. Two players per ‘team’ would also make this competition more inclusive because a draft league with 10 teams would only equal 10 players in the end.
 
 
20 Players still doesn’t seem like a lot though, so I’ve thought of two things that could include more players if the interest is there.
 
 
1.      A Battle Series (Singles) and Battle Series (Doubles) league running side by side. This would simply double the possible participants from 20 to 40. Also doesn’t leave out any Doubles enthusiasts.
2.      Divisions, so something like a Gold Battle Series and Silver Battle Series. I would either pick in which division a player starts in or let players decide where they’d like to start at signup (likely a combination of both). The gold series would have a much higher prize pool of course. But it would also bring more drama into the lower ranks because I’d like to make this a reoccurring competition so we can have demotions to silver and promotions to gold at the end of seasons.
 
 
Anyway let me know what you think, I know it’s still fairly far away (probably a month after PSL finals conclude) but I’d like to know if I should invest more time into this or not based on interest.

LC tournaments are being hosted now, and are not cancelled. Tiers are announced in advance and some teams prepare for them, often counting on specific players.
 
Ofc you can make argument that teams should prepare for all tiers, but in reality its not always the case and by changing tier few days before tournament, we might risk players losing their time if they planned to take part in tt.
 
Would the LC tournaments be cancelled, i would change the tier, but for now i will not. Players can prepare now and take part in tournaments ingame, making them suddenly follow different set of rules during one specific tournament is bad in my opinion. 
 
Im all open for arguments, but I seriously dont think that changing tier is good idea

Recycle berry juice IS a problem. The people who have no problem with it are the people I see abuse it.

Only downside of it is that Mienfoo is one of the most reliable knock off user, and removing it would make berry juice recycle abuse even stronger than it already is.
 
Getting around Bronzor or Drifloon is possible, I don't deny it, but at a too high cost everytime for it to be healthy. Especially for Drifloon, that outspeeds most knock off users alternative to Mienfoo, and can activate Unburden at ease, outspeeding even Elekid scarf. The substitute doesn't allow you to taunt or trick, and once it's set up you pretty much can't outspeed anyways to use it.
 
Entry hazard don't even help against it. Drifloon can activate unburden after taking dmg from rocks and sub, and Bronzor just doesn't care. By the time you get Bronzor just a little above 50% health to attempt a KO, he already did all his job he can do, setting up rock, toxic, or doing chip dmg, and can switch out and just activate berry juice again next time. 
 
There are other recycle abusers that I don't find as problematic. Munchlax can be dealt with thanks to its typing weak to Fighting and his low defense, and Trubbish don't have the bulk to survive the common Ground and Psychic moves. What makes Bronzor annoying is its typing, and Drifloon its ability, combined with berry juice recycle. 

Berry juice recycle itself isn't really broken or unhealthy imo, and I don't have any clue as to how fix the issue with these 2 pokemons (Drifloon being the most problematic because not many counters, Bronzor have more ways to deal with but almost all of them include sacrifices).

I don't think anything was decided in this regard, just no one in TC was pushing the Mienfoo test ban any further or give an official reasoning why it isn't a good idea. And that's really what I would like to still hear: why would the LC metagame need Mienfoo, while it's just way too much value in one Pokemon to not to put in your team and the usage demonstrates it. I don't think a Pokemon reached this high usage numbers ever unless it's a tournament exclusive to experienced players. And now we have 80% usage on "open for everyone" platform. That should ring some serious bells.
 
And if there's no good examples of how removing Mienfoo makes the metagame worse, I think this is as clear of a unhealthiness ban as it gets.

- In tournaments : WHEN THEY ARE OVER, add the possibility to shorten the duration ? Like adding possibility to manually stop /skip each turns. So if for example you want to watch a match but you suddenly have to do something else in-game, you can watch it again at the point where you left it, by skipping turns. Or accelerate them ? Either way the actual system is frankly inconvenient.
I do think this option should be when tournaments are over only, to avoid easy scouting (don't want to start a debate about scouting, just pointing out that the recent policy of staff about it by making seats randomized is still respected with this option)

Are you justifying oppression? That's what these NPCs embody. They're oppressing my rights as a trainer and my ability to catch legendaries and Pokemon with hidden abilities. As everyone know, traveling to another regions is one of the most important features in PokeMMO but i recently saw something it just caused me a little conflict in my mind, when we travel to sinnoh we appear in the same place as the chatot so we are crushing him, poor chatot, he deserves more, so i just make this to change his place, so he can live better and  without being hurted by all the people who travel to sinnoh.

I know there are many trainer rebattles guides out there, and some of them are really helpful, but it may be a lot of data at once for a new player. 
This guide is here to offer 3 rebattles runs that try to make the most profit from using amulet coin. A "Rebattle Run" is therefore 1 hour long. 
 
In one hour, first trainer run rewards you with 174k with Kanto, Hoenn, and Unova trainers
Another hour for Sinnoh rebattle Run rewarding 190k 
And last hour for Sinnoh / Unova leftovers rewarding 150k
