Xanthem
CONCEPT: After my purchase of the Petalburg city gym, I demolished the entire structure and started digging. I don’t want my gym to be inside. The new Petalburg city gym is going to be an outdoor gym, where battle gets another ruthless opponent: the weather. As a passionate airsofter, XanthemTV always wanted his own airsoft field, but couldn’t combine it with being a pokemon trainer. This sale was his grand opportunity for his 2 great passions to combine. GYM LAYOUT The gym layout is divided in 2 parts: a part above ground (grey part) and a part underground (brown part). Each has their own type of trainers and its annoyances. The = marks are doors to the rooms and stairs/ladders to the mud streaks. The part above ground, is a combination of trenches, underground rooms and streaks of mud, to crawl through. you need to walk through the trenches and the streaks of mud (which is slowed, similar to Sinnoh's Grand March). In the trenches are also 2 hikers patrolling and running a certain path (marked in blue) The ninja kids in the mud streaks are disguised as bushes (resembling ghillies). Beating the gym leader gives you the Cadet Badge (grey circle, wearing an army helmet) Each type of trainer uses a specific setup of pokemon: the hikers use Bronzong - Escavalier - Forretress - Skarmory. the kids use Bronzong - Metang - Klang - Ferroseed - Lairon - Pawniard - Durant - magneton the ninja kids use Pawniard - Durant - Skarmory - Scizor The part underground is a maze of tunnels and works similar to Dewfords gym: you start seeing only 1 tile in front of you and with each trainer defeated, your vision expands with 9%. Defeat all 10 trainers and you’ll be able to see 90% of your normal vision. The hikers here use Lairon - Bastiodon - Durant - Ferrothorn - Steelix - Excadrill XanthemTV (gym leader): Aggron - Lucario - Magnezone - Metagross - Empoleon XanthemTV (post-league): Excadrill - nature: adamant - item: choice band - Ability: Mold Breaker Swords Dance, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Iron Head Scizor - nature: adamant - item: choice band - Ability: Technician Bullet Punch, Bug bite, Aerial ace, Roost Metagross - nature: adamant - item: choice band - Ability: Technician Meteor Mash, Zen Headbutt, Ice punch, Earthquake Ferrothorn - nature: adamant - item: choice band - Ability: Technician Spikes, Stealth Rock, Power Whip, Leech Seed Lucario - nature: adamant - item: choice band - Ability: Technician Aura Sphere - Dragon Pulse - Flash cannon - Nastly plot Empoleon - nature: Modest - item: life orb - ability: Torrent Scald - Toxic - Flash cannon - Grass knot hope this here counts as rule n°4 Edited May 21, 2023 by Xanthem ArgoXIV and KaynineXL 1 1 Link to comment

She is young, beautiful, petite, with long hair, deep eyes and a sweet smile. Her clothes are fashionable and energetic, and she often wears pokémon-themed outfits to show off her presence in concerts and competitions. As a Taoist master, Liu Liai was not an ordinary trainer. She and her Pokemon owner had a friendship and bond that sparkled like diamonds. At the same time, she was also extremely strategic, many challengers in the face of glass love need to go through a very difficult battle to win. In addition, as an idol of the glass love is respected, not only because of her strength and beauty, but also because of her fans and Pokemon enthusiasm and love. In general, Liuli Love is a dynamic, talented, moving towards the dream of all the people who love the Taoist masters and Idols. Liuli's Diary of Love: On January 2x, 20xx, This morning, I worked hard to practice new songs and dance movements, feeling tired but also satisfied. I have been walking on the path of idols for a long time, it's really super tiring! But I won't stop because of this. Every performance and competition is an opportunity for me to improve myself, so I always give my all. I used to be confused, and the balanced performances and competitions often made my Pok é mon very tired. In this situation, I wanted to give up. After confiding in my Pok é mon, they resolutely surrounded me and encouraged me. From then on, I knew that these lovely children were my wealth, and at that time, I promised to provide them with better treatment, health care, and training. In the morning, I received an online Q&A from my fans on social media and felt everyone's love and support for me. In the afternoon, I rushed to the Daoguan to receive the challengers and engaged in several tense and exciting Pok é mon battles. Every time I fight, I will find my shortcomings and strive to improve. I believe that only with stronger strength can I become a better idol and Taoist master. Although I am busy every day, I enjoy a busy life because I have always enjoyed achieving my dream of becoming the greatest idol trainer through my own efforts. After work, I will also take a walk, play with my Pok é mon, and enjoy a peaceful life. Today's efforts and gains have made me feel very fulfilling. I will continue to practice the sentence I have always said: never give up, always strive! Emblem: shine layout: Team: script: How do you do! I am Liuli Ai, the Tomorrow Flower of Orange Blossom City, and everyone's idol! But please remember, I am not an ordinary idol. OverheatGR
ENTRY SUBMISSION - GYM LEADER "JOTMOROW" Spoiler STORY: -In the Hoenn region, there was a renowned blacksmith named Jotmorow who was known for his exceptional skill in crafting the finest steel weapons and tools. However, Jotmorow had a secret passion for training Fire-type Pokémon. Despite his busy schedule as a blacksmith, he spent every spare moment training his team of Fire-types, determined to prove his worth as a Gym Leader. -Jotmorow's team consisted of a fiery Charizard, a nimble Ninetales, a powerful Typhlosion, and a sneaky Infernape. They were all trained to perfection, and their best move was Overheat, which Jotmorow had taught them through many hours of hard work and dedication. -Jotmorow knew that becoming a Gym Leader was no easy feat, and so he devised a challenging puzzle for his Gym that would test the skills of any trainer who dared to challenge him. His Gym was located in the heart of a volcanic crater, and the puzzle consisted of a complex maze that could only be navigated by avoiding the flames that shot out from the ground. -Many trainers attempted Jotmorow's Gym, but only the most skilled were able to make it through the maze and challenge the fiery Gym Leader. However, Jotmorow never turned away a challenger, no matter how inexperienced they were. He believed that every trainer had the potential to become a great Pokémon Master, and it was his duty to help them along the way. -With his years of hard work and dedication to his craft and his Pokémon, Jotmorow finally achieved his dream of becoming a Gym Leader. He was respected and admired by trainers throughout the Hoenn region for his strength, skill, and unwavering commitment to his Pokémon. And so Jotmorow continued to train his Fire-types, forging them into a fierce team that no challenger could defeat. He knew that there was always room for improvement, and he would never stop striving to be the best. GYM LAYOUT : -Jotmorow's Gym is located in the heart of a volcanic crater, surrounded by bubbling lava and towering cliffs of igneous rock. The Gym's entrance is a large iron gate, emblazoned with Jotmorow's Gym emblem. As challengers enter the Gym, they are met with the heat and humidity of the volcanic environment. -The Gym layout is designed as a challenging maze that can only be navigated by avoiding the flames that shoot out from the ground. The maze consists of multiple levels, with each level requiring the challenger to solve a puzzle before they can advance to the next level. The puzzles range from simple to complex, testing the challenger's problem-solving skills and quick thinking. -Along the way, Gym trainers are waiting to battle challengers, each one tougher than the last. They are placed strategically throughout the maze, making it more challenging for the challenger to reach the Gym Leader's arena. -The arena itself is located at the center of the maze, on a raised platform surrounded by lava. The platform is shaped like a pentagon, with each side representing one of the five elements of fire, earth, water, air, and metal. Spoiler -Level 1: The first level of the maze consists of a series of narrow corridors with intermittent flames shooting out from the ground. Challengers must navigate through these corridors by timing their movements to avoid the flames. The corridors may have dead ends or hidden passages that lead to the next level. Puzzle 1: At the end of Level 1, challengers encounter a puzzle that they must solve to unlock the path to the next level. The puzzle could involve arranging symbols in a specific order, deciphering a coded message, or solving a math-based challenge. -Level 2: Level 2 introduces a more complex maze with multiple paths and additional obstacles. In addition to the flames, there may be moving platforms, collapsing bridges, or sliding walls that require quick thinking and agility to overcome. Puzzle 2: After navigating through the challenges of Level 2, challengers face another puzzle to unlock the path forward. This puzzle may involve manipulating objects in the environment, finding hidden switches, or solving a logic-based riddle. -Level 3: Level 3 ramps up the difficulty even further. The maze becomes a labyrinth with twisting corridors, rotating platforms, and flame-spewing statues. Challengers must carefully observe the patterns of the flames and the movement of the platforms to progress. Puzzle 3: At the end of Level 3, challengers face their final puzzle before reaching the Gym Leader's arena. This puzzle may be the most challenging of all, requiring the integration of multiple clues, deciphering a complex cipher, or solving a series of interconnected puzzles. Boss Stage: Once challengers successfully solve the final puzzle, they reach the Gym Leader's arena. The arena is situated on a raised pentagonal platform, with each side representing one of the five elements. The platform is surrounded by lava, creating a visually stunning and intense environment for the final battle against the Gym Leader. The maze within Jotmorow's Gym is designed to test the challenger's problem-solving abilities, agility, and quick reflexes. It presents a progressively difficult series of challenges, with each level and puzzle requiring a higher level of skill and intelligence to overcome. THE BADGE : -The Gym badge, known as the Flame Badge, is a small metal badge shaped like a flame, with the word "Jotmorow's Gym" etched into it. It is a symbol of the challenger's victory over the fiery challenges of the Gym, and their readiness to face even greater challenges in the future. Gym Leader Script: "Welcome, challenger! I am Jotmorow, the fiery Gym Leader of Petalburg. My Pokémon and I are ready to test your skills. Let the flames of battle ignite!" "Well done, you have proven to be a true Master of Pokémon. Your victory has been hard-earned, and I respect you for it. Take this badge as a symbol of your strength." "Another hard-fought victory for my team! The team is well-rounded and features several different types of Fire-type Pokémon to keep their opponent on their toes. For the rematch team, the gym leader will rely on a more offensive strategy, utilizing high-powered moves like Overheat and Sacred Fire to quickly take out their opponent's Pokémon. The team also includes several Pokémon with diverse move sets and typings, making it difficult for opponents to predict their next move. PrinBruce
Hello! This is my Gym. I know many already did grass type gyms, but, as the masters say, you can only be a true winner if you fight against competitors in the same Field. To achieve the best of myself, I decided to choose the most used type. That way, I'd be forced to give it all As I know you people are not ones with lots of free time, I divided my gym into two documents. It involves A LOT of reading (sorry, might have gone a bit too overdone on writing, bad habit) First one (must see): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UEkpUNYOQPU0s_SF1p9y4RY9ERyzWG4c/edit?usp=drivesdk&ouid=101922323030733923914&rtpof=true&sd=true Second one (talks a bit about the leader's backstory, hope you guys have time to read it, I put a lot of effort into them. If you do not have the time, that's okay, but please the the first document. I understand not many are fond of reading): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lKqBJwnfPijkbOd4vouRIJ7qVSw9ebD1N-CcNzkqHlU/edit?usp=drivesdk ArgoXIV, brytown and KaynineXL 1 2 Link to comment
Mpaxalos
"I heard she is super strong, man... Don't let her looks deceive you, her pokemon strike hard. You'd better watch out!" It seems we have a new Gym Leader already here in Petalburg. Let's find out more about her! LILIAN - PETABURG'S FLOWER Lilian is a young lady, born and raised in Petalburg. She is 28 years old, and spent most of her childhood strolling and playing in the woods with her beloved Pokemon. A true Introvert, even though she's friendly. She is very calm, sensitive and very intuitive. However, she can be really self righteous, and passive aggressive. She is an environmentalist at heart (she also has a degree)! After the chaos that broke loose due to the Legendary Pokemon fight (Kyogre and Groudon), Lilian witnessed the suffering pokemon and nature had have to endure, and I believe that's reason she became Gym Leader. APPEARANCE First of all, her clothes are 100% organic and homemade (by herself). She wears a brown kimono inspired sweater, keeping her warm and stylish, and some loose, dark green cargo pants! From head to toes, she decorates herself with red. Red flower pins, red tinted make up, red ribbon clamping her hair at the bottom, red sashes on her cloths, even her shoes are red. Her hair appear to be white, but the tips are greenish, and at the bottom they're shaped like a big leaf (which looks like the Growth Badge, which itself resembles Shiftry's leaves). Despite the sparkles and the "levitation stance", she cant really produce light or levitate, it's metaphorical. ABOUT THE GYM Lilian didn't make lots of changes. In fact, the exterior remained the same, just a couple of flowers and vegitation where added. Norman made the entire gym using wood, so Lilian thought she shouldn't intervein a lot. She added a lot of vegetation and trees inside, keeping the firm, wooden walls intact. Inside the gym can also be found clay pots that contain ingredients for mulch, and signs with instructions on how to make some mulch yourself. And that's actually the gym quiz! At the center of the gym lies the fighting dome, surrounded by trees and a wooden fence. Next to the fence there is another clay pot, which contains a mechanism that makes the fence go down, but can only be activated if the challenger puts in the right mixture of mulch. Lilian makes sure you leave her place knowing a thing or two about nature. However, to be able to freely explore the field and complete the quiz, you have to beat some trainers, which happen to be Lilian's colleagues and friends. The names, staring from the bottom with clockwise direction: Rosa Peter Noel "The Shy" Ethan Flauren & Ntina Their teams: Rosa: -Roselia (43) -Vileplume (42) -Meganium (44) Her teams is stall oriented, as her Pokemon know all powder status moves, plus Light screen and Reflect. Lilian's own team however is designed to be tough, but also consists mostly of local pokemon: Swellow, Breloom which unique in Petalburg woods, same for Treecko, and Leafeon as there is a moss stone there. Seedot can also be caught nearby Petalburg. Growth Badge: The Growth Badge resembles big leaf, which carries the gem (as all hoenn gems have) in middle as an indicator of unity, and has an upward direction, resembling the Growth it stands for. Norman's badge was called Balance Badge, and Lilian liked the idea of a badge name that resembles something a little more abstract, while keeping the Grass type showcase subtle. "The bonds we create elevate us". Lilian's Script: -Introduction "Greetings, young trainer. My name is Lilian, and I am the new Gym Leader. I raised my friends withlove and care, and so they grew strong and confident. I hope you're ready!" -Challenger wins "The bonds you created are unbreakable. So moving, so beautiful... Congatulations!" -Lilian wins "Every day is a new struggle. Believe in your companions, and grow stronger together." P.S. I hope you enjoyed my entry. Feedback is welcome, regardless of results! MachoBear
Gym Leader: Titania, Steel Type Specialist Background: Spoiler A girl full of dreams and hardship,. Titania was raised in Fallarbor Town in her childhood. Like many children, she always wanted to become a pokémon trainer of many achievements. She dreamt about having a team of her own that can take done any opponent. She was inspired by the gym leaders of Hoenn, and she hoped one day that she could become one of the eight leaders of Hoenn. One day, she decided to test her luck in a nearby, but dangerous cave for those who lacked pokémon, Meteor falls. She would venture there with her parents approval, as she was 10 at the time. She then proceeded to search for her very first pokémon as a part of her team. Once she entered the cave, everything was in order. She finds some zubats in the cave and attempts to catch one. However, the zubats seem to be flying away from a certain direction. It's not until she realizes the terror they were running from. A salamence! Enormous in size and radiating a soul crushing aura to the young girl, the girl freezes in terror. Never has she seen a terrifying beast like this in her life. The beast's intimidate ability causes Titania to be unable to move. With one attack, the beast causes the girl to fall into the waters of the cave, being dragged further into the stream. Titania finds herself on land, outside the cave. It takes a moment for her to come back to reality. She then is hit with a wave of great pain to her right arm... It was then she noticed when looking down at her arm that she realized its absence. Her heart rate pumps like never before. Though she survived, a part of her has disappeared. She would continue to cry to herself, but then a metallic object reaches out to her and touches the poor girl. A magnemite, small and mechanical, but it shows a sad look because it wasn't able to completely protect it's trainer's daughter. The girl looks at the pokémon that came out of it's pokeball without orders. The magnemte is fairly injured, but it put it's life on the line in order to protect her. The girl thinks to herself that now is not the time to be crying. And so the girl gets up on her feet, wipes her tears away with the one arm she still has, and goes to find help or the nearest city with the last of her strength in her. She eventually finds her way back to Fallabor after some time in Rustboro City when her parents eventually found her. Despite losing her arm, she still desires to be the trainer she is. After that day in Meteor falls, she valued to train her self, along with her newly most trusted companionm the magnemite that saved her life. It was one a fateful encounter of a unique trainer that she interacts with. A strange kid with mechanical arms that was visiting Hoenn at the time looks at this Hard working champion-in-the-making. "Wow, you sure are training not just your pokémon incredibly hard, but also yourself! That's very admirable! I don't think I know many trainers like you!" She looks at him weirdly, not just because he talked out of the blue to her, but because of his strange additional arms on his back. "Oh apologies! I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Clemont! I'm from a region called Kalos and I'm visiting this region as a tourist! But say, now looking at you a second time, it'll probably be tough for you to catch or battle with your pokemon with one arm, no? Especially if it's your throwing hand. Say! I admired your spirit you were giving off during your training! How about I make a deal with ya?" He takes out a mechanical arm from a bag of his. "I always bring spare arms in case one of mine breaks, but I'll offer this one to you if you promise one thing, you become an official trainer and battle me whenever we meet again! I'm dying to know how much you'll grow!" Titania is shocked by the proposal of giving her something so expensive looking. It sounds almost too good to be true. She pauses, thinking she doesn't want to be indebted to someone. But, an oppurtunity to once again have two arms might never come up again. She gives a serious look of determination and agrees to the boys deal. It was after this day that Titania would once again to pursue her dream of become a gym leader in Hoenn. Gym Badge: Magnet Badge Gym Layout: Spoiler The gym's main gimmick is magnet bridges. they allow the challenger to traverse through the pit below (There are cushions below in case people fall. Don't sue me.) in order to reach the magnet elevators. The goal is to reach the highest floor where Titania the Gym leader resides. Some magnet bridges can not be accessed, but a switch with a symbol with 2 arrows exists to move all magnet bridges without needing to stand on them. Magnet bridges can also block other magnet bridges, so be sure to manipulate the bridge placements with the Movement Switch! (Don't know how to make a pixelated layout so I just doodled because I suck at drawing architecture related stuff and also rip time so enjoy silly doodle. I at least had fun drawing it.) Gym Leader's Team: Battle Start: "So you're the new challenger, huh? I am Titania. Though that is my name when I am gym leader. I see you have gone through my magnet bridges. Was it difficult to navigate? Well, that isn't going to be the only thing difficult. I hope you don't hold back because you have two organic arms compared to me. Now behold, my pokemon's magnetic force!" Player Victory: "I see that you didn't go easy on me. Win or lose, I always appreciate those who take me seriously even with my appearance. Congratulations! You win my respect as a trainer!" Player Defeat: "It seems I wasn't the one who needed a handicap, huh?" Spoiler (Ace) Magneton Lvl: 34 Stats: EVS: HP/Atk/Def/Sp. Atk/Sp. Bunnaiii
Oh man oh man this is going to be quite a long post, so buckle up and prepare for the ride I am going to take you on filled with fluff, funnies, and hopefully, amusement out of this entry. Best of luck to everyone and ayo this is a really amazing event idea 👏 Time to give y'all that LunaDarkrose (IGN) Charm ❤️ Spoiler With the rumors of one of Hoenn's most respected gym leaders' reputation being broken into shambles by the shocking news, the opportunity of a new era for Pokemon battling sparked the interest of the young newly wed couple while they laid back on the couch. There they were, hearing the unexpected news on the tv while being shocked themselves. It was quite a shock to hear considering their last encounter with them while traveling the regions on their own individual journeys to collect the badges was a rather pleasant encounter. Perhaps not everything wasn't as glamorous as they thought it was for the long time gym leader. Or maybe this was his break to finally retire to spend some well deserved time with his family.. Nonetheless, a new spot was soon in the works of being available for those to take. The young girl glanced over to her partner, seeing their gaze fixated on the tv. "It would be amazing if we were able to take that spot, imagine us as gym leaders.. we can show the world how great we are together." He said aloud softly before letting out a soft sigh before looking over to her, realizing she heard what was supposed to be his internal thoughts. "Don't mind me, just dumb wishful thinking." He said, trying to disregard what he said, only for her to move closer to him, cupping his face to have his gaze meet hers as she cooed softly, shushing him quietly. "I will mind love. That sounds like a wonderful thing to have one day. We are pretty experienced in pokemon battling, especially together." She says with a wide grin before pecking his cheek. "Remember when we'd battle in those different tournaments held all over the regions?” She’d asked him while a soft giggle escaped her lips, staring at him while she continued her ‘encouraging ramblings’, as she liked to call it, without giving him a chance to answer just yet. "And we won! So that's enough proof that we need to be the bestest together in battle!" She nodded her head in reassurance to him, hoping the encouraging speech would get him to elaborate, and to her delight, he returned the barrage of kisses to her, finally easing up and telling her. "I think us having a gym together would be wonderful, plus it could help with getting you out of the house and being stuck in a low mental slump. Lettie can't always help you." He gestured to her Bellossom, the girl's therapy pokemon, who's happily swaying about, conducting their daily aromatherapy move around the home. While they were assigned to her to aid with their mental health, they also need to keep in tune with their self defense skills. She nodded in agreement to his statement, pulling apart from their partner to get up from the couch. "Where are you going dear?" He asked "To the study to see if we can qualify to bid for it and register to be a part of the Hoenn League Association, you don't know how long that advertisement has been up and seeing that their children has declined the offer of having it passed down to them, then we have to hop on that!" Without another word she rushed off to the other room to do her research. Naturally, given how his partner is knowing when determined to do something, soon followed right behind her, fetching a seat for himself and helping her out. After some hours of digging through multiple sites and looking through past paperwork of records to show their qualifications with working with and alongside pokemon, they were pleased to find out they are qualified. With the woman’s husband being a native to Hoenn made the process go more smoothly. Now came down to the endless hours of betting. They each took turns babysitting their computer, putting in bets while the other went to do their daily activities. While money wasn't an issue since they've invested in the stock market in Castelia City as well as the girl having her small business together with her husband, the wait was quite excruciating with how many days the bidding war went on. Though the time that passed wasn't a complete bust, they got to talk about how would they want their gym to be. "So what type of gym are you thinking we could do?" "We can do dark type, need more representation other than Piers" He suggested, bringing up a gym leader in Galar that uses dark type pokemon. She shook her head, pursing her lips some. "I don't think we have that much of a connection to dark type pokemon to go ahead and do that. How about water? There's water everywhere here." He laughed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Did you forget Wallace existed Allurosa???" She lowered her head while folding her arms "Aaaaa I forgot, don't bully me Killua!" Killua chuckled, patting her head before pondering. "Wait. Petalburg... Lets just run with grass pokemon! Plus you have a connection with them already" "Oh my stars, you're absolutely right hon! We can do that! " She nodded in agreement. At least they're decided what typing to do now. After some time, the computer ringed, indicating that they won the listing for the gym. They hugged each other and squealed in excitement, hopping around happily. "Now this is our time to shine" After settling the purchasing, they took a trip to Petalburg Town, seeing that things has modernized ever since they've been here, they saw that the area was completely abandoned with no care to it at all. Seeing their pokemon grow some grass and play while they're analyzing the area, they decide to go with a grass maze theme. Some months past while they gained the help of their grass allies and pokemon from the forest and lo and behold, the gym was finally completed and ready to open. They Post the sign, smiling at it. It read: Petalburg City Pokemon Gym Leaders: Allurosa & Killua “The Symbiotic Roots!” The day of the grand opening arrived, and trainers from all over the region flocked to the new gym. Allurosa and KIllua greeted each trainer personally, explaining the concept of their gym and their hopes for what trainers would take away from their experience. They watched from a distance through their rotom drones, always ready to step in and offer advice and guidance when needed if things got too extreme. "Let the games begin!" Near the maze, there is a gym guide nearby their little home. If challengers choose to talk to them, the following conversation will occur: Spoiler Gym Guide: "Yo champ in the making! Welcome to the Petalburg Grass Gym! I'll be giving you some tips before you start your challenge." Trainer: "Thanks, I'm ready for it!" Gym Guide: "Great! As you can see, this gym is an outdoor maze filled with grass-type Pokemon. Grass types are weak to fire, ice, poison, bug, and flying-type moves, so make sure you have a well-rounded team to take them on." Trainer: "Got it, thanks for the advice." Gym Guide: "Now, the gym leader here is actually not just one, but two gym leaders. They'll be waiting for you at the end of the maze, so make your way through carefully. The maze can be confusing, but keep an eye out for some pokeballs scattered around town. They'll help guide you in the right direction." Trainer: "Will do, thanks for the heads up!" Gym Guide: "No problem, good luck on your challenge!" Pretty design go brrrr Badge Design is on the top 👀 https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/857767185413963846/1109629023144906853/LunaDarkrose.png?width=867&height=612 Gym Details Spoiler As trainers entered the maze, they encountered various challenges, such as hidden Pokemon battles, dead ends, and treacherous terrain while collecting keys in decorative pokeballs to unlock the gates. They are also located outside of the maze to allow challengers to explore the town and gain a sense of new knowledge while also taking into appreciation the entirety of the the ecosystem. Heres the teams of the gym trainers even though they're not a fan of the gym leaders because they gossip about how they're probably doing illegal pokemon selling to obtain all this money to afford the venue and all the rare pokemon living in the depths of the maze. Regardless if they win or lose, they gossip with the challengers. https://pokepast.es/37e88a35d2cdcc9c https://pokepast.es/0b489d4410f3a9de https://pokepast.es/c582711de3663009 https://pokepast.es/01c25611bc30a057 Allurosa may have accidentally left out her voltorb to play, so be careful, for if anyone interacts with it by accident, it will explode and send them back to the Pokemon Center, resetting their progress with obtaining the keys. It will be in the same place they found it, though. If the challenger defeated any of the gym trainers already, they do not need to repeat the battle. Additionally, you may see one of the potential keys has fell into the water. You are unable to surf yet, so how are you able to get the ball? The fisherman gives you an idea to use a fishing rod you've obtained from your journey previously to try and fish for the ball. If you didn't have a fishing rod at the time that you are challenging Allurosa and Killua, the nice fisherman offers you his rod, assuming you are sad about not being able to enjoys the wonders of fishing. After some failed attempts and finally lining yourself up to cast the bait, you finally hook the ball and get the key! (And returning the rod after doing so) Trainers quickly realized that the maze was more than just a physical challenge. It also tested their ability to think on their feet and adapt to unexpected obstacles. Allurosa and Killua had designed the maze to be a metaphor for the journey of a trainer, hoping to teach trainers that even though their journey may have been easy so far, there would be bumps or obstacles in the road that they would have to watch out for and find out a way to maneuver and get to the goal much like how they do in the real world. At the end of the maze, trainers faced a double battle against Allurosa and Killua together. They had spent months perfecting their strategy and training their Pokemon, and the battle was intense. But it wasn't just about winning or losing. It was about the journey and the lessons that had been learned along the way. Each of their Pokemon will be 6x15 Ivs with 85 Evs per stat with a neutral nature. "Hopefully it didn't wear you down that much, hope you are ready for us!" "Lessgo sweethearts, embrace the leaves and use them to your advantage!" (Inserts cool fight montage) After the battle, Allurosa and Killua sat down with each trainer and reflected on their experience in the maze. They talked about the challenges they faced and the lessons they learned, and offered words of encouragement for the road ahead, for they know all too well that the gym challenges is not a easy task to accomplish. Afterwards, the following occurs: If the challenger loses, they say the following: "It seems you are still lost in your maze of defeat" When they are defeated, the challenger receive the following: A bit of dialogue- "For a two against one, you've done pretty well for yourself, great job! The move Leaf Blade slices down things in your path, while also having a chance to crit! They will be available to challenge separately. Each of their pokemon will be 6x29 Ivs with specific ev spreads that fits for each pokemon to the best of their capabilities to support the other pokemon in the team. There is a 20% chance that instead of seeing a Cherrim in Allurosa’s team, a Shaymin may come to her aid to assist her in battle. During these specific times, she will allow her opponent to obtain its dex entry before it shimmies away into the depths of the gym. Killua's team is the same pokemon used each time, while the gallade he uses is obviously not a grass type, it aids him in battle in the same way it assists him and his wife when trimming the hedge maze around the outside of the gym building. If challengers choose to talk to them, the following conversation will occur: Reveal hidden contents Gym Guide: "Yo champ in the making! They'll help guide you in the right direction." Trainer: "Will do, thanks for the heads up!" Gym Guide: "No problem, good luck on your challenge!" Pretty design go brrrr https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/857767185413963846/1109629023144906853/LunaDarkrose.png?width=867&height=612 Gym Details Reveal hidden contents As trainers entered the maze, they encountered various challenges, such as hidden Pokemon battles, dead ends, and treacherous terrain while collecting keys in decorative pokeballs to unlock the gates. They are also located outside of the maze to allow challengers to explore the town and gain a sense of new knowledge while also taking into appreciation the entirety of the the ecosystem. Heres the teams of the trainers https://pokepast.es/dad464f1a99714f https://pokepast.es/ba58bf1b0fc1fb5 Allurosa may have accidentally left out her voltorb to play, so be careful, for if anyone interacts with it by accident, it will explode and send them back to the Pokemon Center, resetting their progress with obtaining the keys. "Hopefully it didn't wear you down that much, hope you are ready for us!" Afterwards, the following occurs: If the challenger loses, they say the following: "It seems you are still lost in your maze of defeat" When they are defeated, the challenger receive the following: A bit of dialogue- "For a two against one, you've done pretty well for yourself, great job! If challengers choose to talk to them, the following conversation will occur: Reveal hidden contents Gym Guide: "Yo champ in the making! "Hopefully it didn't wear you down that much, hope you are ready for us!" (Inserts cool fight montage) After the battle, Allurosa and Killua sat down with each trainer and reflected on their experience in the maze. There is a 20% chance that instead of seeing a Cherrim in Allurosa’s team, a Shaymin may come to her aid to assist her in battle. During these specific times, she will allow her opponent to obtain its dex entry before it shimmies away into the depths of the gym. Killua's team is the same pokemon used each time, while the gallade he uses is obviously not a grass type, it aids him in battle in the same way it assists him and his wife when trimming the hedge maze around the outside of the gym building. dreo
So, it's still May 20 in my country, so idk if this still counts, also, I couldn't fit all 7 images, so I choose pretty much the most important ones, aside from the puzzle, it said something like: Sorry, an unknown server error occurred when uploading this file.(Error code: You can only upload a total of 9.43 kB.):/ ArgoXIV 1 Link to comment
KaynineXL
Thank you for all for taking part! We have a late entry and I'll discuss if we can include it since it is late. My judges and I will now discuss and rate each gym behind closed doors and we'll get back to you soon! MasterWobble and Boojanglez 1 1 Link to comment
YanisLaGlisse
My opinion as a participant is that late participation should still be counted, knowing that the delay is not huge, and that it has already been penalized by the lack of storage space. Also, after 1 month of possible work it would be slightly sad to be penalized for 1 hour late. Bertolfoso, ScizoMonkey, Mpaxalos and 1 other 4 Link to comment
