    Bug Fixes
Fixed various client crashes Fixed various issues with Macho Brace / EXP Splitter interaction. Fixed an issue where controller inputs would not be mapped correctly if there was no keyboard key bound to a function Fixed an issue where, when reconnecting while interacting with a Mart, the client could become stuck Added an animation for egg hatching Extra animations can be turned off in the Settings menu Fixed an issue where duplicate entries for Lures would show up in the Dex for certain entries (e.g. Crobat) Fixed an issue where Magic Room would cause a targeting error in-battle when it ended Fixed an issue where, when using Elixirs in battle, a message would play stating it had no effect Fixed Natural Gift typing shown in various UIs When an item is held, the type of this move will now be updated to reflect the move type, if any. When no berry is held, typing is now considered "???" and will show no label. Fixed an issue where Wide Guard / Quick Guard increased Protect-type moves' failure percentage if they failed to be used Fixed an issue where, if a player used a Repel while a Lure was very close to ending, they could be spammed with many messages about lures wearing off Players can no longer unbind essential hotkeys (A/B/Up/Down/Left/Right) Multiple Gracidea can now be used at once Fixed Curse/Protean's interaction Curse is now targetable in double battles Chatter is no longer blacklisted by Me First Encore can no longer call Sleep Talk Sleep Talk can no longer call Nature Power or Chatter Mimic can no longer call Metronome, Mirror Move, Transform, Struggle, Sleep Talk, Nature Power, Assist, Me First, Copycat, Chatter, or Fling Fixed an issue where Encore's targeting behavior could fail if the user-selected move was not the same as the encored move Fixed an issue where Encore's turn count would be shortened by 1 if used after the target already moved Fixed an issue where Sap Sipper would not suppress secondary stat drop effects of moves such as Leaf Storm Fixed an issue where, if logging out while placing a decoration item in Secret Bases, the client would pretend it's still placing an item upon reconnecting Fixed an issue where Fancy Butterfly Wings' lighting effects wouldn't work properly in GBA regions Fixed an issue where Skill Swap would cause abilities to be activated if it failed to be used Transform now affects the weight of the user Fixed an issue where a Golduck Alpha Swarm in Unova would not be interactable Magic Room now negates Choice item selections Fixed an issue where, when fainting a wild encounter with Sticky Barb with a contact move, the item would not be retained Fixed an issue where, when using Trick against an opponent which had the same Choice item, it would lock the move selection after usage Rules for held item retention against wild encounters have been standardized Previously, held item retention was implemented differently per-move. This led to different behavior depending on what move was used, such as how Trick would never allow held items to be obtained from wild encounters. In general, players are now able to retain a wild encounter's held item as expected if their original held item was destroyed (through consumption or Fling), if they captured the opponent, or if they had no held item at the start of the battle. Wild held items are not retained if the player would have destroyed an Untossable item, or a permanent, non-consumable battle item (such as a Choice Band) Sweet Scent is now used immediately after being prompted to refresh it with a PP item Fixed Trick's message broadcast order Fixed an issue where swapping positions of a party member in a battle box would eat the entry for the target slot Fixed an issue where Darmanitan, while in Zen Mode, would incorrectly use base stats instead of calculated stats for damage calculations Fixed a targeting error which would occur if Rattled was activated by Intimidate The Alpha dex now properly shows Glameow / Lillipup evolution lines (released in LNY 2023)
    Special Notes
Items which were marked with the tag "This item is event-bound. It will become untradeable after this seasonal event is over, and will be deleted at a later date." have been deleted in this maintenance period. This pruning will occur automatically for future events. HeartGold/SoulSilver support is still in-progress. We expect to announce a public test server event for it Soon™

Probablly Lilligant dropped on usage due to some mon that can counter it risen by usage.

The only true counter alongside with lilligant, is luxray, wild charge is one hit to destroy vaporeon: 252+ Atk Guts Luxray Wild Charge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Vaporeon: 450-530 (96.9 - 114.2%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO. Facade deals 50%-59% and Scald wasn't a issue. However Luxray's niche is small and not too worth to be heavliy used. Also, 36% recoil is a pain, nothing that a wish mon can't solve, however. Both Lilligant and Luxray are a bit gimmicks on current metagaming and had small niches, Lilligant less than Luxray obviously, however i don't think the counters are good enough to let vaporeon on tier, because the rest of team had little problems to get rid of they.

My opinion, after analyze and read some comments: Ban Vaporeon.

    What is this?

This thread is being opened to discuss Nidoqueen and its dominance that it will bring in the Neverused Tier (NU).

    Overview:

Nidoqueen is a underrated and a surprisingly versatile Pokemon. It's a great fit on balance, stall and HO  teams. Its movepool is quite versatile and dangerous with access to both Stealth Rock and, notably, Toxic Spikes. On top of which its typing makes it resistant to Fighting/Rock type moves and immune to Toxic, Thunder Wave, and Volt Switch making it an incredibly formidable pokemon. Its decent bulk paired with the above can let it survive some hits from alot of Pokemon.

Some examples of its Sheer Power:

Personally i believe Nido is to much for NU, although I look forward to the discussion.

MiraiZura reacted to gbwead in [Discussion] Match Fixing Policy
I would like to discuss the current match fixing policy and invite others to share their thoughts on the matter.

There is match fixing in every single tournament, but nearly no one ever gets banned for it. Since hardly anyone gets punished for match fixing, players assume forfeiting vs friends is completely fine. It’s common practice really. I don’t have facts to back up this statement because providing facts would mean calling out players or snitching on them. I don’t want this thread to become that so I really hope whoever is reading this will take my statement “match fixing is common practice” as face value.

Tournament players witness match fixing all the time, but staff members only when a report is made. This is quite problematic because the only time players will be punished for match fixing is when someone has a vendetta against them to the point where they will make a report. Rules apply to everyone and therefore should also be enforced in regards to everyone, not only the high profile players or the hated players. This has already led to witch hunts and more are to be expected if this unhealthy way of dealing with match fixing remains.

Match fixing on ladder is also very different to match fixing in tournaments. When we see match fixing in tournaments, the only people affected by the match fixing are the players of that specific duel. If a player chooses to abandon, that’s on them and no one else suffers because of it. It’s their problem. When there is match fixing on the ladder, every single competitor on the ladder gets affected negatively. When a player boosts the ELO of another by losing on purpose, all the other players on the ladder lose a spot on the rankings in comparison to the player that got boosted. Ladder match fixing is unfair and something must be done about that.

When it comes to punishments, there should be a big distinction between punishing match fixing on ladder and match fixing in tournaments. However, it would be in my opinion more appropriate to put in place some measures that would reduce match fixing in general. For instance, a warning message regarding match fixing integrated in the current “Are you sure you want to forfeit message?” could go a long way in making players aware that match fixing is forbidden.

Anyhow, I’m glad something is done about match fixing, but I think some aspects of this issue need to be addressed and clarified.

You see why i sayed on past that P2 is bannable just because he forces trades? On UU you had to run specific mons to answer certain centralizing things, not only Crawdaunt but also Shaymin is on list and Salamence in 2 days. Your teambuild are restricted as ... and you can't trade your poliwrath on a match, otherwise crawdaunt sweep your team, for example.

Thankfully that duck was banned. Maybe P-Z can be tested now? Their premier check, Empoleon, returned to metagaming. Also, Machamp and Crawdaunt can do something? I didn't calc yet. Both can't really switch but if they come from a slow pivots can use their prioritys since P-Z's bulk is weak.

Let me make it clear for both of you:

This post is extremely wrong and stupid. When a mon is suspected to have OFFENSIVE UBER characteristics, you should look at the walls it breaks.

This post is mostly wrong. When a mon is suspected to have DEFENSIVE UBER characteristics, you should look at the offensive threats it denies. Clefable, Slowking, Lanturn and Altaria are hardly relevant when analysing the defensive characteristics of a pokemon.

With that being said, @pachima, you can't really complain that Wrath is wrong to look at defensive mons as counters to a potential defensive uber pokemon because
    1) you did the exact same thing in your previous paragraph when an offensive pokemon was being looked at
    2) you fucked up royally when you were TC and banned P2 as offensive uber instead of simply defensive uber

You can't cast stones at people when you are showing the worst example of what should not be done. You can't blame new TC members for not understanding our tiering terms correctly when you have set an awful precedent when using them in the past.

A wallbreaker like Nidoqueen is exactly what NU needs right now. The tier is just a borefest with people spamming the same stall core Quagsire Clefable Bronzor Sableye Altaria Filler. And Vaporeon the Uber Defensive is dropping too :')

It's worth testing something that might make this tier more enjoyable to play. If it ends up being broken against every other playstyle, it gets banned.

I will only give my personal point of view.

I don't find it necessary to upgrade Toxicroak and Seismitoad to OU.

The use of a pokemon in a tier depending on many factors, I don't believe it makes sense to only consider the percentage of use of these.

Currently, for sure, if there's one Pokemon to raise from UU to OU, it's Porygon2.

Regarding the pokemons that go down from OU to UU, I think the list is correct even if I have a slight doubt on Salamence. Also, I think it would be nice to give Haxorus a try in UU.

Regarding pokemon going down to NU, I find these changes interesting.

Defensive teams will recover some support, which will probably allow us to see some more diverse teams than at present.
