I like to buy pokemon and put them for sale later or use them for breeding, but I miss an easy way to remember how much I paid for each mon. I would like the GTL mail to include the price at which the listing was bought.

Nearby players could tune in, to see the fresh shiny! Hype up the encounter and celebrate the shiny found! (With some fireworks of course! ) Shows up above the "in battle" pokeball icon. (Could be put to replace the ball icon or next to it.) An option to disable the function, if you prefer to shunt in peace or secret.

I assume that's Unova and you didn't select Emboar as your starter? What about the free storyline Simisear? Ice gym is actually one of the easiest ones, at this point you should have access to multiple fire/ fighting types in the region. In Celestial Tower you can catch a Litwick which you can evo into Chandelure as soon as it reaches lvl 41, making things much easier for you.

For now, I'd suggest buying a cheap pokemon which can learn Sweet Scent so you can quickly level a pokemon, while giving it the EVs it would appreciate most (Chandelure likes spatk and speed). Let us maybe know, what team you have so far.

Part 2: Track IDs
Updated list compiled by @budadeth and @cyanfire

All you gotta do is name the music file after the track ID that it's supposed to replace. (example: vermillion city is 313, so if you want to have All Star by smash Mouth play in verm, you have to name it 313.mp3)
And then drop it in the folder of its corresponding region.

If an ID is missing from this list, it is also possible to type the command /bgm while in the game, to get the ID of the track currently playing.
If you do this, please post in this thread so the missing ID can be documented.

Part 3: Loops

If you paste in a track, it will just play from beginning to end and then start over.
If you want to say, play the intro of the battle theme, and then loop from after the intro onwards, you'll need these meta messages.
However, they currently only work with MIDI files.

there's probably a relatively large correlation between OT and seller.

and gtl is anonymous for a reason. (i'm not exactly sure what the reason is)

but i imagine, in order to argue for search by OT, you'd basically have to argue for reverting anonimity of GTL.

...then again, OT is already available information in GTL, it just takes shit tons of clicks.

In GTL advanced search it would be cool to have a checkbox to hide species from the "Cannot breed" egg group (mostly baby pokemon I believe). It is useful when searching for breeders and flipping.

Edit: This could also be implemented as a special value inside the egg group filter, named "Can breed" which includes all egg groups except "Cannot breed".

Hey guys.

Remember the old flag system, with egg tiers depending on species rarity?
Basically, an egg had a certain amount of 'points', and after triggering four or more flags, every thirty seconds the points would go down by the amount of flags you had triggered. When the points hit 0, it'd hatch.

The new breeding mechanics no longer run on flags, but they still run on the same egg tiers.
An egg takes as long to hatch as it would have in the old system with 4 flags.

tldr; Eggs will hatch automatically just by sitting around.
The rarer the pokemon, the longer it takes to hatch.
It takes this long for each rarity tier:

Tier 1: 44 pts = 5 mins, 30 secs

Tier 2: 64 points = 8 minutes

Tier 3: 84 pts = 10 minutes, 30 seconds

Tier 4: 104 pts = 13 minutes

Tier 5: 124 pts = 15.5 minutes

Tier 6: 144 pts = 18 minutes

Tier 7: 164 pts = 20 minutes, 30 seconds
