If you somehow get able to use the TV inputs to control the game, then yes. If will show screen only and you're still be running your gaming on PC(maybe using a Wireless Keyboard connected on the PC to control the game), then it's fair. Casting is allowed as long as it doesn't get used as a emulation to run non-intended controllers, especially ones with Turbo feature.

Like, if we're able to do this, then people could attach the key A of PokéMMO client 1(simplify it as Pc1) to the W button, and then on the Pc2 you can go and attach same key W to the same input. When you press W, both Pc1 and Pc2 would execute the A function. This is ultra relevant for shiny hunting, because you could have 5 accounts running on same spot and found 25x rapidashs per W used and hardly increasing the chances to found shiny(from reference, the chance would theorically be 25/30000, or 5/6000 , or the astronomic 1/1200)

No, it doesn't work that way, the client only takes input when focused

 

My guess would be to avoid multi-boxing with key-broadcast software, since it would be hard to differentiate between manual input and broadcasting inputs (e.g. pressing W sends the command to each client, so cheating.

Plus, to run two clients on a PC you would need to either use a VPN on a second client (which is against ToS), to a Virtual Machine (which again, is against ToS).

Just don't do it and play on your phone and tablet or computer, easy as that.

Thanks for the helpful replies. I've recently been playing through the stories on an alt account, since I finished them all on the main. I originally started the alt for trade evolving, because I had a couple $$$mons that I didn't want to risk before I had some friends on the game. It's the only other account I have, people are crazy for having 5+. I didn't play it on my Nintendo Switch, but I wanted to. The author of this thread played it on his Switch, and because I wanted to as well, I looked into it because I didn't want to get banned. After reading the post, I obviously haven't. I did run both accounts on the one system that one time (proof above for anybody who wants to see that I broke the rules), and received a three day ban within 5 minutes. I didn't continue this thread to complain that I was banned, I wanted some clarification on the rules so I wouldn't break another one (like using a third party app to stream to tv or pc). After reading the replies, I don't know if I should continue playing the storylines again on the alt. Could somebody tell me if streaming to my big screen, or continuing the storyline on my alt will get me banned again? At that point, I'd delete the alt and continue playing on the smaller screen.

I have asked devs if I can run the game on a moded switch (didn't get a response) so I played.

The rules need to get rid of grey areas, especially with recent mass Android bans.

You were not banned for your modded switch. You were banned because you bought from a RMT vendor multiple times.

Let's clarify things:

• Did I buy something outside of the game aka RMT? Yes, once, not multiple times as Desu said
• Did I use 3rd party scripts to automate things aka cheating? Yes somewhere 2014-2016 I wrote python scripts. In 2020 I was playing with AI so I wrote a bot
• Did I get banned? Yes
• Do I complain about the above? NO
• Did I get banned for not being able to write what was written in the captcha? Once or twice
  EDIT:
  • forgot to add that I bought an account, never used it, I even don't know the logins (lmao xd)

Now:

• I have created another account
• Bought RPs and donator status
• Still playing
• I'm creating a new encounter counter

What I'm complaining about

• My question about the Nintendo Switch is not answered even though few ppl are playing the game like that
• Someone said that by using VPN and disconnecting, he got banned for 3 days, @Desu you are a software engineer so do I. Running docker, podman or other containers on our machines is our bread and butter, the same as VPN and other remote tools. Heck, I even have a wireshark installed, running my network on pfsense with a bunch of tools blocking various things. I would like to know what processes should I kill to not get banned.
• The message while you are banned and want to log in is misleading / doesn't contain any information (toss a coin). It should be improved same as the CoC:
  
• Is running the game on let's say 5 devices with 5 unique accounts is allowed or not?
• Is running the game on devices like retroid pocket allowed
• Do you ban the account by email or by name? (all my alts were registered under one email address and are banned)

In my opinion, the CoC should be revisited and added the things ppl are asking for / don't know the answer

yeah big dog take your ban in stride and try and not ruin the game for others. Some people only have android devices to play on, and spreading this false narrative is insincere. 
 

I play on a retroid pocket device daily and have never gotten any sort of ban or pop up. You know what I also have never done? Cheated.

This is gonna be my last response as I wasted enough time.

eh, what can I say, You didn't get it :). 
1. I did RMT 2-3 weeks before
2. Run the game on the switch
3. The next day got banned and I was pretty sure it was due to the switch
3. Create the post with a warning
4. Made an appeal and asked about the switch 
5. Got answer that the ban was due to RMT
6. Edited and wrote that it was due to RMT
7. Played a few months with alts and a new main
8. Got shiny today after 60hr on the main (yes, I'm bragging)
9. visited forum and wrote this:

Nobody gets banned for disconnecting. The 3 days ban is likely for client tampering, which has nothing to do with disconnecting. They're probably just not reading the message they receive when they get kicked from the game due to tampering. The message tells them which app is causing the issue and to disable it, also to contact support if they believe it's a mistake.

First, don't RMT. Second, if you are running anything that isn't allowed in your Android, you will receive a message informing that to you and asking you to disable it.

I am pretty sure you knew you RMT'd when you were banned, we don't need to explain to you that you did.

That said, we always try to maintain the ban reason specific, but not always it's possible.

There is no reason for this to not be allowed. What isn't allowed is running more than one account at the same time in the same device.

Since you're a developer, I'm sure you know that there is no reason for an Android-based device to not be allowed to run PokeMMO's Android version.
