Tier council is going to tier council. While I see other threats being worst than Machamp or Hariyama just as you do (Linoone is justified), we really have no say in what they do anymore. It's entirely their world and we just play in it. Power tiering has officially returned and 'theorymon' is what governs the tiers now. 

 

Why not just say fuck it and leave everything in UU?

You mean Chansey? If so, a lot of players didn't have Blissey or couldn't be bothered to make one so they continued to run Chansey.

TC mentions as an argument to ban gengar magneton not being as viable because of blissey. The're banning blissey.

 

TC says " The combination of Blissey and Chansey in the same meta is rediculous ". Sorry, when did we get evolite?

Pursuit trapping is an interesting way to deal with Gengar – especially with the new Choice Scarf Pursuiter available. However, the fact that there isn’t a single Pursuit user that can OHKO Gengar even though Gengar can OHKO/2HKO or Burn most Pursuit users makes Pursuit trapping unreliable. Houndoom? Snorlax? Slaking?

Magneton is no way near as a reliable answer to Gengar because of the latter's access to life orb / ball which 2hkos Magneton AND with Blissey around, Gengar is basically free and goes unpunished.

 

Blissey and Chansey together can form the ultimate sp cancerous combo. If Blissey is running special attacks + twave, then it can be beaten by Sub Cm'ers and Chansey cover that weakness by running Seismic Toss + Toxic.

 

Rhydon is in no way a reliable switch in cuz of this:

252+ SpA Blissey Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Rhydon: 154-182 (85.5 - 101.1%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO

 

Yes, modest 252 def / spak Blissey is a thing. The statement says "Status and Leech seed become completely pointless when they are both around", which means that Blissey and Chansey can just repeatedly switch to each other while stalling out Venusaur's 16 pp leech seed. Only growth Venusaur can possess a threat.

 

It's fine to have an opinion on whether the announcement is poorly written, but your justification for it is worse. Also instead of shitting all over the TC, can we at least be grateful for the amount of effort they are putting in to try and make things work in such a quick amount of time?

There aren't many pokemons with priority moves. Absol and Scizor do well against garde aswell?. Also Flash Fire is annoying as fuck. Many people using Scizor + Houndoom core and it's just broken.

well, scarf absol can pursuit a locked in psychic scarfed gardevoir. And if garde isnt scarfed, absol with scarf is faster, but besides that, yeah absol doesnt fare that good against her

Don't know, but the support I've received from Robo, Ari, Gunt, gbwead and Orange (ex member now) made me feel a whole lot better and this is the least that I can do for them. If anything, I can say getting fired has been a blessing in disguise because of how much free time I have right now. It takes an insider's perspective (you know it too) to realize that they too have a life filled with responsibilities like us and they're making time to try and do what's right for the community without getting any reward in return.

Yes, because blindly switching back and forth  between two pokes is a completely reliable strategy, because prediction doesnt exist, because double switching isnt one of the most important concepts in pokemon, because wallbreakers dont exist, becauae phsycal swerper dont exist, because fighting type doest exist, because set-up sweepers arent a thing, because who has ever heard of choice band, because guts doesnt exist, because no one uses nothing of this and everyone will keep spaming leech seed and doing nothig else for 16 turns a row while you keep switching between chansey and blissey.
