17th OT Shiny, 2nd Shiny Rapidash, caught at 5,714 hours, 23 hours late since last shiny.

Now that RP Vouchers are a thing, Amnesia Brace can be obtained by non donators as well. But there is still a need for it to transfer EVs like Exp. Share. (Or maybe add a new item which does that making Amnesia Brace obsolete) And even if that is not being done, even If a level 100 lead is holding Amnesia Brace, full Exp. should go to the pokémon holding Exp. Share, instead of 50%. Makes no sense when the lead is supposed to not get any Exp, where is the other 50% going then ? Please fix this. When this item was introduced, hordes did not even exist, so it made sense back then using it to train 1 pokémon at a time, cause pokémon holding it would do a single encounter and could probably kill it. LC did not exist either, and only Gen 1 was there, with hardly any cases where you needed to prevent a pokémon from evolving. The only time it was needed was to prevent something from going beyond level 50. Making it transfer EVs like an Exp. Share would only increase the sales for you guys too, cause of the following reasons: Most people would own more than one Amnesia Brace, and for professional EV trainers and LC players, etc... Probably own atleast 5 of them. Due to level cap existing, even non LC players / non EV trainers would buy it, to prepare their pokémon for a region they are yet to try out. LC aside, for UU or NU at times, pokémon have to be trained while preventing evolution, so another good reason for players to buy it, etc. The way amnesia brace requires the pokémon to be in battle for it to gain EVs, it is way too time consuming. More than time consuming, it is just straight up irritating, since the horde killer will have to take 5 hits from the horde pokémon every time it is switched out. And in most cases where more than one pokémon have to be trained in similar way, it just makes one not use Amnesia Brace at all and just go with 5 Exp Shares instead, to lower Exp gain, since training using Amnesia Brace is cancer. But even then there is a risk of pokémon evolving or leveling up beyond the desired level. And while Amnesia Brace is there to solve this issue, it is not used simply because using it is the worst grinding experience game to offer. And for a $10 RP item, which is supposed to help a player, RIP. tl;dr, rework it, make it transfer EVs like Exp. Share, and let pokémon holding Exp. Share have full Exp if the level 100 lead is holding Amnesia Brace. And you'll see for yourself that its sales are increasing, generating more income for you guys and making life of pokétrainers better all across the game.

Hiya! I took a 2 year hiatus from the game, and thought of it recently-- so I picked it up again. The new region is really fun!! Had a blast with a pal I met on PokeMMO's discord. I also draw some art now and then (used to draw back then too, but I've lost all those drawings). Shiny Rate Is Fair

You’re just derailing this thread at this point, you have yet to actually contribute to this thread and have made more comments than OP, while id be the last person to mind anyone having a little fun it is condescending towards this new player that is laying out some legitimate complaints. He is struggling to actively progress through the game and seems to seek tips to improve that. You not adressing his points comes over jerkish and is overall not a good example of what a staff member should do. on topic, certain NPCs give decent payouts so rebattling them is a good way of making money, also realise that after you’re done with the story it is easier to make money. Selling breeders you dont need is also a decent way of making money, my advice: take it slow, dont try to rush through the story and make some friends along the way, they will probably be the main reason you’ll stay after finishing story.

I hate when i see veteran players mocks with newbies' problems or their play time... There is no point to post something if you are not gonna answer his question unless you wanna act like a cool guy with stupid replies. Now to your question Duo, there are many posts about catching rate these days, your best bet is false swipe/spore smeargle/breloom. As stated above already some pokemons are simply much harder to catch. You'll get used to it eventually. As for breeding, you better check money making guides here on forums. I would suggest you to do GYM runs on all 3 regions and Morimoto battle(dont forget amulet coin on 1 of your pokemons btw) that will give you steady 250k+ a day, that would be enough to spent pokeballs, everstones, braces. Also try to catch your own breeders. There is also a guide for species with 100%/near 100% spawn rate with. About BF; i cant remember when i last battle there but NPC pokemons can have HA's. So be ready to get WoW'd by a Sableye before your fastest pokemon's attack. Checking pokemons movesets with ingame pokedex is also more accurate since bulbapedia and pokemmo are not totally same. After seeing how the recent boom of discussion regarding dungeons became, reading how some features have been put on the side in favor of others, it got me into thinking. My thought is that the devs should make a blog on forums where at least once a week every week(maybe not EXACTLY that kind of consistency, but you get the picture), they'll update it, giving us insight on what's being worked on at that certain time. Maybe not exactly ETAs, but a brief synopsis on what's being worked on and what's to come. That way we won't have problems of "They're not working on dungeons" or "Sinnoh is never gonna come". With blogs, we'll know what's being worked on and possibly what's next, that way we'll have reassurance that the features we really want aren't being left in the dust.

What do I want to do? I got a big big idea with a friend, mmo community still growing and I think it's time to do something huge for all the community, chinesse, brasilians, koreans and all the countrys of this big and beautiful mmo community, I think it's time to do something big 'cause we don't have for now a new PSL, that can be make some other members more active. I will left something clear, the mods can play this tournament too, this tournament is for all the community even If Kyu wanna play it or Desu, they can play it just like all of us, they will need competitive pokemon. How would it be? We already have the format, will be single elimination and will play 5 VS 5 (I will share an example), in this cup every country will have only 1 representative team. If a country have more than 1 team that wanna play in name of their country then both teams will play a match in the current format of the tournament. What I need? i bought the amnesia brace years ago only to confirm ivs and havnt touched it since the release of emerald. this would make a great use for an out of date item, i dont see any downsides. LC, donations, and happy players

Dev Blogs were cool, I agree, but every week? xd Weekly raports would need to be very specific (which is not interesting to us and only cost time to make them) to have any sense. I believe overall summary on what they are working and their plans is more interesting. Things like this are better when are made whenever dev team decide there is something worth sharing.

Hatching shinies is honestly whats effecting the amount of shinies on the market the least, the reason you see so many hatched shinies is because you have a guaranteed shiny hatch when you breed 2 other shinies together. Breeding isn't whats spewing them all out its sweet scenting. That said, I personally don't mind prices dropping, I was not a fan of the get more lucky than the other guy next to you and win the lottery dynamic they had going on with them. Theres less of a gap between effort and luck now.

Shiny rate is fair and at the moment the means to get a shiny is fair for everyone too. I like the Friendlist expansion ticket idea, could be a RP item, more $$$ for DEVs, and more friends for us without deleting our dead ones.
