Both sides had good points. Ho-oh's fight is not supposed to be easy, but the rewards should reflect that. Legendary lures is not worth, and Rainbow Quills given is less than you catch the legendary in the wild.


Like the pumpking fight, the boss is hard as f*** but the bags he gave and the particle makes it worth to battle.

At least they should make Sacred Fire+ no longer ignore immunity.

I just fought it, took me maybe 10 minutes and it was fairly easy, imo due to it's difficulty, the rewards seem adequate although I agree that lures are a scam (I'd rather boost the lures themselves rather than try re-working ho-oh fight).

Getting to the top of the tower is a different story, I swear climbing that shit is starting to give me ptsd

I wish they had a mechanic where you could fall from the rafters and wake up in a poke center....

Ho-oH rematch difficulty is fine imo. As said by @Munya , and i totally agree, its not supposed to be easy. Its endgame content. Apart from that tho, i would suggest a quick travel to it. The tower climb is a pain.. I am not sure if and how would be possible tho... As for the rewards, at least a sacred fire guaranteed would be a nice add-on and not something that would break the game imo as it is untradable and would make the Ho-oH rematch a little bit more appealing and worth the trouble.

I think could be like that: Sacred Ash not tradeable, and you'll receive If, and only IF, you has no other sacred ash in your bag. If there is another, the excedent one can be converted onto 5x Quills.

"Hoard enough of them" wouldn't be an option since, if applicable like i suggested, you would get 4 per character per month but "Untreatable" . Meaning you would get what? One E4 in only one (Maybe 2) region rerun for free per character per month? Doesnt sound gamebraking to me, rather than a nice small bonus for me to climb all the way there and fight the birdy..
