Untiered is a dumping ground for anything that doesn't get significant usage in NU. Moving things from NU to untiered when they drop below a certain usage % is just removing clutter from the tier, making it easier to tell what's considered viable.

Untiered is not an actual tier, NU has always used the 4.36% cutoff point and will continue to do so as there is no reason to use the weighted system for it, also 1.7 has never been used to move up, thats to move down, so half the stuff you mentioned, wouldn't have made it in anyway.

Good for you man! Depending on whether or not they're mons that you're interested in, a good thing to do with ones that you don't want is to sell them, usually depending on which mon it is, they can fetch a decent price so long as they have a couple maxed out IV's. Hoenn is very fun btw, recommend getting a surf ocarina ahaha!

A large player pool in the game earn their money by farming Dittos - so by making it possible to breed male only breeds without using dittos would totally ruin the income for these players. In my opinion, the Ditto farming is an important part of the game as there are limited number of ways to earn money without getting bored extremely fast. TLDR; I like how things are - don't change
