I would recommend you start with OU. It has got a stable, relatively small(compared to other tiers) meta. And as its got a smaller meta, you will be able to learn the sets and spreads quite fast imo. Moreover, it is the most popular tier in PokeMMO. Hence, you can battle many players of different skill levels and get matches much more easily compared to any other tier. One of the more popular youtubers of MMO, Roidedewok, also plays OU and I recommend you check him out as there's a lot of informational videos/battles. Imo his videos give a lot of insight to new PvP-focused players and helps develop a good PvP mindset. Borderline 1 is the Uber of UU tier. Those pokemon are banned from UU and are therefore only usable in OU. Borderline 2 is the Uber of NU tier. Those pokemon are banned from NU and are therefore only usable in OU and UU. About NU, it is the short for Never Used which is the tier that corresponds to all pokemon not used enough to be sitting in both the OU and the UU tiers Basically OU is the top tier, UU the middle tier and NU the "bottom" tier (even tho Untiered is even below NU technically)

Before we start, there is something you need to know about pokemon. 1.Egg Groups Under normal circumstances, two pokemon can be bred as long as they are in the same egg group. The offspring would be the same as the female one. Though most pokemon follows the rules above, there still some exceptions. ●Genderless： Genderless pokemon can only be bred with the same variety or Ditto. ●Ditto： Ditto can be bred with all pokemon except for itself and the Undiscovered. ●Undiscovered： Undiscovered pokemon cannot be bred with anyone, but some of them would change their egg group after the evolution. 2.Individual values(IVs) & Nature Nature：The nature generates randomly. IVs：The value of the IVs of the offspring would between its parents' IVs, just like the picture below. Though the nature and IVs are generate randomly under normal circumstances, there are some items that can help you to control them. ●Power item(Weight, Bracer, Belt, Lens, Band, Anklet)： Each power item can be used to control the specific category of IVs. ●Everstone： The nature of the offspring will be the same as the parent who brings an everstone. 3.Egg moves There are some moves that pokemon may learn from breeding.
