Features
PC UI Refresh
The PC UI has been refreshed to better accommodate players on mobile platforms and add new inventory management features: Box name lengths can now be up to 20 characters Boxes can be rearranged by dragging their position Boxes can now be automatically sorted based on various criteria Added a "Show Items" toggle for easy held item viewing Players can now multi-select various entries to move them to new positions or change their box PC Box settings are now saved across mobile / desktop platforms Note: Because PC Box settings are now saved to the server, previous client-side box settings have been reset to default Added various additional filters under the Advanced Search menu for the PC and GTL Multiple items can now be taken from the PC at the same time during multi-selection The maximum PC Expansion Drive count has been increased from 10 to 14
Gen9-1 Move Updates
Movepools have been adjusted to reflect Gen9-1 (Scarlet/Violet) move changes. New move are listed below; Note: This changeset also fixes missing moves from some Gen7 sources. Additional changes for levelup moves also occurred in this update.
Snowscape has replaced Hail Snow is a battle effect which increases an Ice-type's Defense by 50% for the duration of the snowstorm. Snow lasts 5 turns, or 8 turns if extended by Icy Rock Charge now remains active until the next Electric-type move is used. Ally Switch may now fail if used consecutively This move uses the same failure percentages as Protect, but is counted separately. See below in the Balancing section for details of Protect's changes. Gallade's secondary ability is now Sharpness Sharpness boosts the power of slicing moves by 50%. Moves which are boosted by this ability are noted in their tooltip description. Protean now only activates once per switch-out
TM Additions
Various tutor moves have been changed to TMs. The following moves were affected: Mud-Slap, Psybeam, Confuse Ray, Poison Tail, Metal Claw, Swift, Icy Wind, Air Cutter, Night Shade, Foul Play, Seed Bomb, Iron Head, Gunk Shot, Iron Defense, Drill Run, Trick, Tailwind, Hyper Voice, Heat Wave, Earth Power, Outrage, Draco Meteor, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, ThunderPunch, Zen Headbutt, Helping Hand, Low Kick, Acid Spray, Headbutt, Selfdestruct, Superpower
Other Features
Players can now manage their whisper blocking settings in the Settings -> Other menu The /dnd user command has been removed Added a search bar for tiering displays Added another skin tone for players For player-to-player trades, a recent transaction summary can now be found in the Global Trade Link's "Trade Log" tab
Balancing
Protect's failure percentage has been updated to Gen6+ behavior Success odds are multiplied by 1/3rd for each consecutive use. For example, Protect's success odds will be reduced from 100% -> 33.3% -> 11.1% -> 3.6% for 4 consecutive uses. Previously this move abided by Gen3 rules, where the minimum value was a 1/8th chance of success. Team Preview now shows gender of the opponents Gracidea can no longer be harvested into seeds or crushed into Berry Powder Gracidea's sell price has been updated from $100 to $250 Gracidea's yield has been reduced from 4~6 to 3~6
Bug Fixes
Fixed various client crashes Fixed various issues with Macho Brace / EXP Splitter interaction. Fixed an issue where controller inputs would not be mapped correctly if there was no keyboard key bound to a function Fixed an issue where, when reconnecting while interacting with a Mart, the client could become stuck Added an animation for egg hatching Extra animations can be turned off in the Settings menu Fixed an issue where duplicate entries for Lures would show up in the Dex for certain entries (e.g. Crobat) Fixed an issue where Magic Room would cause a targeting error in-battle when it ended Fixed an issue where, when using Elixirs in battle, a message would play stating it had no effect Fixed Natural Gift typing shown in various UIs When an item is held, the type of this move will now be updated to reflect the move type, if any. When no berry is held, typing is now considered "???" and will show no label. Fixed an issue where Wide Guard / Quick Guard increased Protect-type moves' failure percentage if they failed to be used Fixed an issue where, if a player used a Repel while a Lure was very close to ending, they could be spammed with many messages about lures wearing off Players can no longer unbind essential hotkeys (A/B/Up/Down/Left/Right) Multiple Gracidea can now be used at once Fixed Curse/Protean's interaction Curse is now targetable in double battles Chatter is no longer blacklisted by Me First Encore can no longer call Sleep Talk Sleep Talk can no longer call Nature Power or Chatter Mimic can no longer call Metronome, Mirror Move, Transform, Struggle, Sleep Talk, Nature Power, Assist, Me First, Copycat, Chatter, or Fling Fixed an issue where Encore's targeting behavior could fail if the user-selected move was not the same as the encored move Fixed an issue where Encore's turn count would be shortened by 1 if used after the target already moved Fixed an issue where Sap Sipper would not suppress secondary stat drop effects of moves such as Leaf Storm Fixed an issue where, if logging out while placing a decoration item in Secret Bases, the client would pretend it's still placing an item upon reconnecting Fixed an issue where Fancy Butterfly Wings' lighting effects wouldn't work properly in GBA regions Fixed an issue where Skill Swap would cause abilities to be activated if it failed to be used Transform now affects the weight of the user Fixed an issue where a Golduck Alpha Swarm in Unova would not be interactable Magic Room now negates Choice item selections Fixed an issue where, when fainting a wild encounter with Sticky Barb with a contact move, the item would not be retained Fixed an issue where, when using Trick against an opponent which had the same Choice item, it would lock the move selection after usage Rules for held item retention against wild encounters have been standardized Previously, held item retention was implemented differently per-move. This led to different behavior depending on what move was used, such as how Trick would never allow held items to be obtained from wild encounters. In general, players are now able to retain a wild encounter's held item as expected if their original held item was destroyed (through consumption or Fling), if they captured the opponent, or if they had no held item at the start of the battle. Wild held items are not retained if the player would have destroyed an Untossable item, or a permanent, non-consumable battle item (such as a Choice Band) Sweet Scent is now used immediately after being prompted to refresh it with a PP item Fixed Trick's message broadcast order Fixed an issue where swapping positions of a party member in a battle box would eat the entry for the target slot Fixed an issue where Darmanitan, while in Zen Mode, would incorrectly use base stats instead of calculated stats for damage calculations Fixed a targeting error which would occur if Rattled was activated by Intimidate The Alpha dex now properly shows Glameow / Lillipup evolution lines (released in LNY 2023)
Special Notes
Items which were marked with the tag "This item is event-bound. It will become untradeable after this seasonal event is over, and will be deleted at a later date." have been deleted in this maintenance period. This pruning will occur automatically for future events. HeartGold/SoulSilver support is still in-progress. We expect to announce a public test server event for it Soon™ -

JuxnUW reacted to Nekrye in [MOD] "HD Huge Shiny" for shiny hunting (pc - android)
- This MOD changes the pokemons sprites to 3DS HD graphics and increase the size of the shinys for better appreciation.
- Este mod cambia los sprites de los pokemon a gráficos HD de 3DS y aumenta el tamaño de los shinys para su mejor apreciación.
- At the moment I have only increased the size of all the pokes that come out in hordes and i have also resized the normal pokes that were large so that the difference is noticeable, I am missing all the others that can come out in double combat or triple combat thanks to the lure, I will update it little by little, but if you find one that is very big, very small or with some error, please let me know so I can fix it.
HD Huge shiny v. 1.0

Hello everyone, I was thinking about the idea of making a channel just to recruit teams, since we have been dragging the problem of massive spam from teams in the common and global channels for a long time. thanks for reading.

JuxnUW reacted to lallo17 in Gengar's Hidden Ability
After being damaged years ago, when all our Gengars were robbed of their dignity and their levitate ability (without being refunded in any way) and swapped with cursed body, now on some of the pokemons is clearly shown "hidden ability" but when is evolved, Gengar magically loses levitate once again for that sh*t cursed body and furthermore in the dex he has no hidden ability at all! Clearly is a bug that costed me hundreds of thousands of pokeyen and loads of time. Please correct the issue and please restore levitate as it should be; cursed body is a mistake and tradition and rulings of 6 generations (25 main series games) want Gengar having levitate as we do and as it should be.
To other players, be careful and always double check EVERY DAMN THING in this game; things change form one day to the other and (sadly) with every new implementation there are double the bugs too.
Other than that I suggest opening a thread to list or summarize every deviation from the original games (abilities/effect of moves being shutted down) or which gen the changes refers to. I can't read every single changelog of the past 10 year to discover why my moves/abilities don't work anymore or whatever.

JuxnUW reacted to shamorunner in Sandstorm Gym Running Team - Cheap intro team
Cost: 82k-160k (This varies based on markets and if you need to use an Ability Pill) Gyms: All but Castelia and Hearthome. Opelucid and Dewford are doable but have a learning curve for this team This is a Sandstorm/Gravity Gym running team that can Consistently clear 27 of the 30 gyms, allowing you to pick and choose which gyms you want to run and which you don't want to run that day. The strategy is the same for every single gym, barring a few gyms where you send out the Sand Rush Excadrill and leave the Sand Force Excadrill as the backup, also the Eterna gym where you need to put a lum/chesto berry onto Gigalith. The gyms will normally clear in 4 turns, with a few 3s and 5s sprinkled in, barring freezes at Snowpoint/Icirrus or the Mistralton diving Swanna. I normally clear 17-19 gyms in an hour depending on how much I am paying attention to the run The Team (All at lvl100 except for the HM mon): -Sandstream Gigalith with Silk Scarf and Explosion (Needs a lum berry for the Eterna gym as one of the teams has a Lilligant that will sometimes spam Sleep Powder) (-SPD Nature) -Prankster Sableye with Gravity (Inner Focus Alakazam with Gravity can suffice but is vulnerable to priority moves like Extremespeed and Fake Out) -Sand Force Excadrill with Soft Sand, Earthquake, and Rock Slide (+ATT Nature) -Sand Rush Excadrill with Soft Sand, Earthquake, and Rock Slide (+ATT Nature) -Telepathy Gardevoir with Silk Scarf (Ideally +SPD Nature, but not required) -Keen Eye Pelipper with Fly and Surf. If you have a fly Ocarina, you could use this sixth slot for another mon to help clear gyms. Surf is only needed for the Sootopolis gym in Hoenn, if you don't intend to hit Sootopolis then any mon with fly is good for this slot This is meant as a cheap, entry level gym running team, henceforth the lack of higher end items like choice items on the Excadrills, Gigalith, and Gardevoir. If you want to upgrade the team, put Choice Bands onto the Gigalith and Excadrills and potentially a Choice Spec onto the Gardevoir Strategy for each gym: -Lead with Gigalith for Explosion and Sableye for Gravity (Due to Sableye having prankster, his gravity will have priority) -Gigalith should die from his explosion. If he flinches due to rock slides or a fake out, forcibly rotate in the first excadrill (Make sure it isn't a fighting/grass/water gym. Some mons will have focus blast but the majority are later in the team rather than the lead) -Rotate in the Sand Force Excadrill once Gigalith is dead from turn one and use Earthquake. If Sableye is dead, rotate Gardevoir to replace Sableye, otherwise wait until Excadrill kills Sableye with Earthquake to rotate Gardevoir. (Gardevoir will sometimes take too much damage if forcefully rotate, unlike Excadrill due to his typing unless one of the above mentioned gym typings) -Spam Earthquake with Excadrill and Hyper Voice with Gardevoir -Rotate Sand Rush Excadrill if the Sand Force Excadrill dies Gyms needing the Sand Rush Excadrill sent first and the Sand Force Excadrill used as the backup: -Safron -Dewford -Driftveil -Oreburgh -Sunnyshore -Veilstone -Pastoria Gyms to Avoid:
-Castelia - The Heracross is dangerous to this team for his fighting/bug type moves that counter. This is a gym with a high fail rate
-Hearthome - Choice Scarfed Chandelure is extremely dangerous, Rush Excadrill is first with the Force Excadrill as backup. The Gengar will sometimes have Cursed Body. This is a gym with a high fail rate
-Opelucid - Use Rush Excadrill. I have had a high success rate with Rush Excadrill first in the Excadrill rotation, but had a lot of fails early on while learning. It is easy to add to your hour run of gyms since it is quick to get to the gym fight, but might take a little bit of learning
-Dewfored - Similar to Opelucid, use Rush Excadrill first in the Excadrill rotation. It also has a little bit of a learning curve like Opelucid, except less forgiving with potential Rock Slide mons as the gym's lead Notes: -Forcefully Rotating rarely needs to be done, but will sometimes result in more 5 turn fights when Fake Out's are present. This isn't the end of the world, especially as this is meant as an entry level Gym Running Team. It will take a little learning for how the team handles, but the above strategy works on almost all of the gyms -Be extremely cautious about forcefully rotating Gardevoir. Gardevoir is weaker than Excadrill, barring Focus Blast mons. Once Gardevoir gets low enough HP, the apposing team will use priority kill moves, ExtremeSpeed/Mach Punch, to finish off Gardevoir. Remember, Gardevoir is used to help break Focus Sashes and Sturdy mons. Excadrill will still kill most on his own and just needs some help breaking the sashes and sturdy mons -The Lum Berry on Gigalith for Eterna City is needed for when the Lilligant lead spams sleep powder. It may only have a 75% accuracy, but makes it a hazard to forcefully rotate or the Gigalith potentially dies or isn't able to kill itself for several turns making the fight much longer -The Gigalith and Sableye don't have to be at lvl100. The AI might prioritize differently though. In addition to the AI potentially functioning differently at lower levels, You won't be able to have a 3 turn runs on Gyms since Gigalith's Explosion output will be heavily lowered if he is at a lower level, specifically his lowest lvl of 25)
-In case anyone isn't aware, the Sandstream is needed for the Excadrills to get the benefits of Sandstorm for their abilities, the Gravity is needed to hit Levitate/Balloon/Flying mons with Earthquake, the Gardevoir is needed to help break Sashes and Sturdy mons. All of these are needed for the team Gym Notes: -Cinnabar - Torkoal might outslow -Safron - Beware Focus Blast Alakazam and Galade. Following the above strats should finish off this gym. Also, the pattern to get through and then out of the gym puzzle is as follows: 23323/42424 (There are other ways to get through the gym. Please pull up a youtube video for navigating this gym)
1 2 3 4 -Lavaridge - Torkoal might outslow. The Puzzle following Puzzle Guide refers to the portal's order for how far away it is compared to the others in the room. I would recommend using a different method to help navigate the gym: 232.Top.1121 (2nd closest, 3rd closest, 2nd closest. Top portal. closest. closest. 2nd closest. closest Please pull up a youtube video for this navigating this gym and build a method that works best for you) -Sootopolis - Beware Freezing. Surf is needed to access the gym -Mistralton - Beware the Dive Swanna. Sometimes it will spam Dive. If you don't kill it, it will most likely lengthen the amount of turns needed to finish the gym -Canalave - Forcefully Rotate Force Excadrill if Golem/Bastiadon lead. They will spam Rock Slide, that will have a 99-100% hit rate with gravity in effect, almost perma flinching Gigalith, so rotate Gigalith for Force Excadrill -Snowpoint - Beware Freezing -Eterna - Lum Berry on Gigalith. Sometimes the Eterna gym leads with a Liligant that spams sleep powder. Forcefully rotating into this will cause problems if it lands a Sleep Powder on one of the Excadrills -Pastoria - Make sure your Gigalith outslows the Pelipper when the Poliwrath is used with Pelipper to lead. To get through the puzzle, go to the closest orange button and then follow the following most distant buttons: GBGOB (G=Green, B=Blue, O=Orange. Please look up a guide to get through the gym on youtube and build a system that works for you) Specs: -Gigalith - EV train for HP and DEF or S.DEF, not as major of a thing to do though but will be noticeably helpful. Make sure you have a low level Gigalith or have a -SPD Nature. Several gyms will outslow with a torkoal or a Pelipper, this normally doesn't change how quickly the gym is cleared except for the Pastoria Gym where a Choice Scarfed Poliwrath and Drizzle Pelipper are lead. Other than Pastoria, the -SPD Nature isn't needed as a requirement to clear any gyms -Sableye - Doesn't need an item or EV training. He is meant get gravity off and then normally dies to Excadrill. Rocky Helmet can be helpful but is roughly another 60k. Make sure it has its hidden ability, Prankster -Excadrills (Both) - EV train ATT and SPD. Get +ATT Natures on both. Aim for 25+ ATT IV and 20+ SPD IV. The team will still clear if it is as low as 15 for both SPD and ATT, but will struggle on a few of the gyms, but will still do well. Make sure one has Sand Force and the other Sand Rush -Gardevoir - EV train for SPD and DEF. Ideally a +SPD Nature. Aim for 15-20+ for HP/DEF/S.DEF IVs. Make sure it has its hidden ability, Telepathy -Pelipper - Don't do anything except maybe a rocky helmet, another 60k though. Having a fly Ocarina would allow something like a Blastoise, Typhlosion, ect to be used as another back up mon to help finish a gym off if something goes wrong early on or while still learning to use the team Infographic Turns to Clear Gyms Data: The Team in the below video was bought, bred, tutored, and items bought for 115k. There was a lucky roll on the drilburs so we didn't need an ability pill (35k) and HA Sableye was only 10k compared to its normal 20k Video on building the team (Uploading still at time of posting)
Mnoverick's Advanced Sand Stream Team (This is much more advanced than the basic sandstorm team, but is able to clear several more gyms than the basic sandstorm team, maxing out at 24 gyms in one hour as the best run) (Video is in the Spoilers right below. It is an hour long run with commentary throughout from Mnoverick and myself)

Moves: False Swipe. Spore. Substitute. Rock Slide. (Bulldoze for Rapidash Hordes)

**PREVO moves are a way to obtain the move via leveling in a PREVO form. If you evolve Shroomish into Breloom, you will have to teach Spore via the move tutor**
Egg Move: Wake up slap
**Optional, but I recommend it for versatility. It's also just one egg move from an inexpensive poke.**
**If you pass egg moves to the final breed, they are re-learnable. This means you will have expanded the maximum moveset of your final breed**
HM Moves: Cut, Flash, Rock Smash, Strength

JuxnUW reacted to Elizn in Lunar New Year 2023: General Information Thread
Happy Lunar New Year 2023: The Year of the Rabbit 😄
This is just a general thread containing what you need to know about the Lunar New Year event, as we find out 😄
Any Information gathered will be updated here for convenience
Event Basics:
Collect 12 of each type of Tablet and take them to a specific Pillar of Light (locs will be updated later tonight thanks to Bhen) to encounter the Alpha Pokemon corresponding to your tablet. (List of Alphas and HA below)
Only 3 tablets can be found at a time, and change every 20 minutes.
Pillar Locations:
Once you have collected your 12 Tablets, you will not find any more of that tablet type* (confirmation needed)
You will not lose your tablets until the end of the event!
Once you have collected 12 Dead Flowers, Proceed to Floaroma Meadow and use them on the pillar for a Shaymin
INFO 28/01 18:28 CET: NO BADGE REQUIREMENT FOR SHAYMIN ENCOUNTERS - CONFIRMED BY RACHE
With Shaymin first in your team speak to the girl NPC in the middle of Floaroma Town and she will give you 9x Gracideas.
IMPORTANT** To Grow your own Gracidea, you need to plant 3. Planting 1 will result in getting berries.
Abundant Shrine Event
Interact with the fortune teller NPC in Celadon City (Kanto), Slateport City (Hoenn), Hearthome City (Sinnoh) or Nacrene City (Unova). If you're solo, you'll be queued to be matched with other players, since the event requires a team. If you're in a link already, all your link members have to interact with the NPC (doesn't need to be the same region) and you'll be dropped in together.
To win, Possess pokemon from the starting house and collect them at the shrine as you defeat the waves. Every so often you'll have to defeat a boss challenge as well. The waves and bosses get progressively more difficult as they go on. (Thanks DamianTe)
Red Envelopes/Lucky Red Envelopes are earned here. Lucky Red Envelopes are earned after 3 bosses. You get all of your rewards when you lose, or you quit. To quit, talk to the cone in the starting house.

JuxnUW reacted to wcyacs in About players banned for using Christmas event bugs
About 12 hours ago, the team that topped the Christmas event list was suspended and was not lifted until the end of the event.
I understand that they do use bugs that are inevitable in games, which I know in the PokeMMO Code of Conduct.
But they've already paid for it, and we can know that there was no special reward for first place in the team at this Christmas event, and they still paid a dozen hours of gameplay for this ranking.
Currently the bug has been fixed and the ranking has been removed. They've paid for it, but they've still lost the opportunity to participate in this event, and they're banned until the end of the event, which I think is somewhat unreasonable.
Game bugs are inevitable but we don't want to see the official attitude of "if you can't solve the bug, then solve the person who found the bug" to deal with bugs.
And as you can see from the scores, they know the event very well, and I think they can still actively participate in the event and get a proper ranking, even if there are no bugs.
But they lost this opportunity.
