IGN: Aerun Motivation: People asked me to sign up because most of the guys who signed up aren't worthy to be managers. So here we are. I won two PSL seasons as player so now I'm gonna win this season as manager and then I'll retire from PSLs. A part of me hopes I won't get picked though since I'm always too dedicated for this kind of events and it's time consuming. When this item was introduced GTL did not even exist, even pokeyen wasn't tradeable. So I doubt the it being bought from GTL for $X and being relisted was an issue. And even though it is a niche use utility item, really doubt someone would buy a 10$ item and trade it off after use. Cause by that logic, same should happen with lucky eggs, exp share, vanity items not being worn by the user, etc... But still, few cases aside, most people tend to retain what they have for future use. And Amnesia Brace is one of those items, which would always be in use, especially these days with LC existing and many people not willing to evolve / level some pokemon. Somebody needs to pay for it to be gotten off the shop in the first place though. And like I said before, this is not a single use item, so really doubt people would be trading it off instantly after use, and would be retained like ocarinas, vanity, etc. Doubt anyone would have paid $10 for a consumable item even back then, & especially right now, where using it to train a pokemon drives you near insane. I personally own RP items (vanity mostly) worth 1000s of $, yet never spent any irl money simply cause I do not have access to online banking. And I know many more people who face the same issue. Had to wait years to win RP through PVE events to finally buy an Amnesia Brace. Due to you guys not making it tradeable, you are missing out on a whole market of people who want to own it and would gladly pay someone to buy it for them, but can't. Not changing the preexisting versions is fine and understandable. Let us talk about the present and future though. You did not address one of the main issue, making it transfer EVs like an Exp Share. Because when this item was introduced, hordes did not even exist, so it made sense back then using it to train 1 poke at a time, cause pokemon holding it would do a single encounter and could probably kill it. LC did not exist either, and only Gen 1 was there, with hardly any cases where you needed to prevent a pokemon from evolving. The only time it was needed was to prevent something from going beyond level 50. Making it transfer EVs like an Exp. Share would only increase the sales for you guys too, cause of the following reasons: Most people would own more than one Amnesia Brace, and for professional EV trainers and LC players, etc... Probably own atleast 5 of them. Due to level cap existing, even non LC players / non EV trainers would buy it, to prepare their pokemon for a region they are yet to try out. LC aside, for UU or NU at times, pokemon have to be trained while preventing evolution, so another good reason for players to buy it, etc. The way amnesia brace requires the pokemon to be in battle for it to gain EVs, it is way too time consuming.. More than time consuming, it is just straight up irritating, since the horde killer will have to take 5 hits from the horde pokemon every time it is switched out. And in most cases where more than one pokemon have to be trained in similar way, it just makes one not use Amnesia Brace at all and just go with 5 Exp Shares instead, to lower Exp gain, since training using Amnesia Brace is cancer. But even then there is a risk of pokemon evolving or leveling up beyond the desired level. And while Amnesia Brace is there to solve this issue, it is not used simply because one cannot buy it and also cause using it is the worst grinding experience game to offer. And for a $10 RP item, which is supposed to help a player, RIP. tl;dr, rework it, make it tradeable and transfer EVs like Exp. Share... And you'll see for yourself that its sales are increasing, generating more income for you guys and making life of poketrainers better all across the game.

Now that RP Vouchers are a thing, Amnesia Brace can be obtained by non donators as well. But there is still a need for it to transfer EVs like Exp. Share. (Or maybe add a new item which does that making Amnesia Brace obsolete) And even if that is not being done, even If a level 100 lead is holding Amnesia Brace, full Exp. should go to the pokémon holding Exp. Share, instead of 50%. Makes no sense when the lead is supposed to not get any Exp, where is the other 50% going then ? Please fix this. PokeMMO Needs To Respect It's Players And Add An Easy Mode.

lol i almost choked and i choked for real this time jesus On a side note, managers playing this PSL make a rather big deal, you simply can't pick someone that has litterally 0 skill in comp, having someone that can play any tier as a manager is almost a must in this situation if you don't want teams to have 1 more player than the other teams. + Roxxass has nothing to do about this, she's in peace now, leave her alone instead of arguing like fucking Freds (yes it's a new word meaning reetarded, autistic and having a lisp that makes you sound as cringe as your speeches).

Today I decided to play a tour on a whim using my oldass matchmaking team everyone knows. In Round 2 I was matched vs someone who I haven't seen before in mm or tours (Making me deduce they haven't played for that long, ergo they haven't grinded for that long ergo they don't have much variation in comps) and I decided to spectate their replay for 1 turn. In that round, they used Taunt Aerodactyl with Volcarona in the back, so to adjust my 10 month old team I just put a mental herb on my lead suicide Skarm (Which normally runs another item) and threw their momentum into the garbage for the rest of our match by getting rocks up vs them anyways and eventually winning the game despite what would usually be a matchup disadvantage. Felt dirty tbh. Sure my opponent could have "not used the same thing" or "watched me too and brought a magic coat Smeargle to hard counter Suicide Skarm" or some equally simple stuff, but the game shouldn't have this weird layer of intel ops that fucks with the synergy and dynamics of each team.

Yet he has a point. It’s not -only- about skills. How many good players revealed themselves to be thrash af as managers ?

i would say "what couch" first season i was breakout and best doubles player and played some matchs too bad, like, how would be coached like that, teammates said me "wtf you did there lol" and second season being champion not wanting to play the first phase because of real life things and because i didnt like lot of my team mates, still played some, needing to play as sub in a tier that i dont play, using lanturn for fun and my teammates shitting me on chat, and we got to finals and i carried in both semis and finals, without people knowing what i was going to play

I don't think the complaint here is the forces of supply and demand bringing down prices, but rather that people will have 99 items, and instead of making a stack for 99 items at 5000, people will progressively list 1 at 4999, 4998, 4997... and so on. I don't think this is an economy problem but rather a GTS abuse problem. I think this could be more accurately put as "hogging" slots.

Apparently the Managers Choice Tiers werent clear. Each manager gets to pick a tier, out of ou uu nu lc dubs. The manager does not play both of these. If manager 1 picks nu and manager 2 picks uu. The tiers for that week would be ou uu nu lc dubs smou nu and uu. The manager would then submit there 8 player roster.

I also talked with desu about it a while ago and to make it short he/she/it isn't opposed to the idea totally, the ones who are keeping him from reworking it are staff fearing moderation nightmare. Basically staff has to tell him they accept to do their job and the he/she/it can implement it. Unrelated note: no this isn't a sign that i'll be coming back to the game i just lurk on the forum when i have time to kill and nothing else to do.

I like everstones being cheap. I remember the days they were like 20k or more a piece and now a lot of new players can afford to buy them in bulk which is nice.
