Potential outcomes of the Year competition depend on the December tournament:
[NORE] NoRematch, [LO] Romantic and [läva] läva can be champions if they will win the December TT. It will not matter which team is 2nd during December.
During the tournament, I will keep you updated with real-life table standings.
[VOW] Solemn Promise also has a chance to win the year if they become champions and the rivals:
- Nore: Lower than 3rd round, 3rd round then it's an equalizer, but due to direct matches, Nore would've been champions- Lo: Lower than Semifinal; if it's Semifinal, then it's an equalizer, but due to direct matches, Lo would've been champions
- Lava: Lower than 2nd Place; if it's 2nd place then lava wins.

Welcome to the Official PokeMMO Team Tournament of December 2023
These are monthly competitive tournaments where teams can test their skill against each other.
Players battle as teams (3 at a time). Teams can switch out which members compete between rounds.[SY] Synergy™
will be given the opportunity to defend their title from November 2023. They have earned a registration slot.
December: OU/ UU/ Doubles
In each round, three players from each team will be placed in line in the following order :
The top spot will be an OU Match
The middle spot will be an UU Match

Each month +3 first teams from General standings 2022
Those teams need to provide registration, but they will be put on top of registered teams - IF they make a reservation within one hour of registration, otherwise, they are registered normally without priority.

- Team (ideally captain) From Friday after registration till one hour before TT, can edit forum registration up to one hour before the tournament but has to inform the host either by quoting the registration post or by PM.
- In 1 hour before TT window it can be done by a message to the host.
A. Registration starts on Thursday and ends on Friday - same hour.
a) Teams must provide all information in a single post after registration starts.
b) Only registered players are allowed to play
c) no alts of players from other teams
B. Entry must be made by a member of the team.
a) The entry can't include one team, and it must be edited to have another one registered.C. The team must have at least 3 players ready to fight.

The process of TT
Team Tournament will be held in the same way every month:
a) The thread will be open with the date of the tournament and registration
b) Registration will start on Thursday before the tournament. Check the timezone converters.
c) Registration will end on Friday before the tournament. Same time as start of registration so if it starts 8pm GMT Thursday, it ends Friday 8pm GMT
d) The bracket will be shuffled and made visible on Friday/Saturday after the end of the registration. Information about where matches will be held will be released on Friday or Saturday.
e) On Saturday, before the start of the tournament, teams will be able to claim they are ready to fight on Discord, forum, or in-game.
f) In case of team being unable to play, the reserve spot team takes their place- or opponents gets a Round 1 bye.
g) In-game team call will be held on ch4. Only captains need to be there; playing players can safely be on ch3 if that's where their match is going to be

- Disconnecting during a match will result in a DQ.
- Do not block the Staff running the Event. If you disregard requests for you to unblock staff members then you will be disqualified.
- Once your match is called you will have 10 minutes to report to the table. No time extensions will be given.
- Teams must have 3 players for each round. If team is registered, but fails to have 3 players, 1st reserve team takes their place in bracket.
- Matches in rounds 1-3 HAVE to be done with 1-hour limit in the settings
- Please listen to staff members' instructions during tournament. The behaviour of ruining the event for other players on purpose will be met with a yellow/red card system of penalties, as explained in the main thread HERE

These are monthly competitive tournaments where teams can test their skill against each other.
Players battle as teams (3 at a time). Teams can switch out which members compete between rounds[LÂB] LabExperiments
will be given the opportunity to defend their title from October 2023 They have earned a registration slot.
Tiers:
November: OU / NU / Doubles
December: OU/ UU/ DoublesIn each round, 3 players from each team will be placed in line in the following order :
The top spot will be a OU Match
The middle spot will be an NU Match

Each month +3 first teams from General standings 2022
Those teams need to provide registration, but will be put on top of registered teams - IF they make a reservation within one hour of registration, otherwise they are registered normally without priority.

- Team (ideally captain) From Friday after registration till one hour before TT, can edit forum registration up to one hour before the tournament but has to inform the host either by quoting the registration post or by PM.
- In 1 hour before TT window it can be done by a message to the host.
A. Registration starts on Thursday and ends on Friday - same hour.
a) Teams must provide all information in a single post after registration starts.
b) Only registered players are allowed to play
c) no alts of players from other teams.

B. Entry must be made by a member of the team.

The process of TT
Team Tournament will be held in the same way every month:
a) The thread will be open with the date of the tournament and registration
b) Registration will start on Thursday before the tournament. Check the timezone converters.
c) Registration will end on Friday before the tournament.
d) The bracket will be shuffled and made visible on Friday/Saturday, after the end of the registration. Information about where matches are going to be held will be released either on Friday or Saturday.
e) On Saturday, before the start of the tournament, teams will be able to claim they are ready to fight on Discord, forum, or in-game.
f) In case of team is unable to play, the reserve spot team takes their place- or the opponents get a Round 1 bye.
g) In-game team call will be held on ch4. Only captains need to be there, playing players can safely be on ch3 if that's where their match is going to be

- Disconnecting during a match will result in a DQ.
- Do not block the Staff running the Event. If you disregard requests for you to unblock staff members then you will be disqualified.
- Once your match is called you will have 10 minutes to report to the table. No time extensions will be given.
- Teams must have 3 players for each round. If a team is registered but fails to have 3 players, 1st reserve team takes their place in the bracket.
- 1 hour setting for a duel is a must.
- Please listen to staff members' instructions during the tournament. The behavior of ruining the event for other players on purpose will be met with a yellow/red card system of penalties, as explained in the main thread HERE

With that being said, this is kind of bitter sweet for me as I feel it's the end of my era, and what I mean by that is sometime in 2019 I set out to buy a full box of shiny phanpys because it's my favorite pokemon. It was insanely slow going because the only spot you could really find them was canyon entrance so they were far and few between for years, until Johto came out. I collected 51 before Johto all ranging from 2m-4m and when Johto hit I was able to get to 59 in the first couple weeks. I could have bought the 60th one anytime but I wanted it to be my OT, and despite already having a shiny phanpy OT I wanted another. So I hunted and today I found it.
None of the Phanpy's I own are unknown OT besides one (Thank you Pibb for the gift) I owe a great thanks to the many people who have gifted me a phanpy over the years for christmas/birthdays and I appreciate each and every one of you for indulging me in my weird quest for a pokemon I love. Shoutout to Awkways for gifting me several phanpys, as well as Fry, Nuz and dreamy.
My ultimate end game goal in a game I love is now finished.
This Phanpy will be getting every particle and ribbon I can possibly throw at it.

Rebinding keys is allowed and not considered cheating. I see you don't plan to do it, but just in case for future players - assigning macros to mouse keys or keyboards would be cheating.

Two team tournaments before the end, the situation is interesting as we have three teams with the same score.
As you know, the hierarchy of positions goes in this order:
1. Points
2. Highest position in the tournament during the year (Champions > 2nd place > semifinal, etc)
3. Direct Matches between teams during 2023
4. Points scored / TT attended
5. Won/Lost Matches (more the better)
6. Tiebreaker match if needed.
The highest position is tied since all of them achieved 1st place twice.

Lava: 1 lo: 1
Nore: 1 Lava: 0So Nore is ahead of Lava and Lo.
Assuming a theoretical tie, they are also ahead in point 4, as they scored 45 points in 9 TTs, compared to 10 of their opponents.The fight for the #1 spot will not end with those three teams ofc. With up to 30 points to receive, nine teams can become the #1 spot in the 2023 edition. However, some will have to count on top competitors getting eliminated quickly.
