LightGrace
Facts About Weavile •Weavile weighs as much as Dawn. It shares this similarity with Porygon-Z. •No other Pokémon has the same type combination as Weavile and its pre-evolved form. •Weavile can be seen as a parallel to Gliscor. Both were introduced in Generation IV, both of them are dual-types, have the same base stat total, have double weaknesses (Gliscor to Ice, Weavile to Fighting), evolve from Pokémon that were introduced in Generation II, and do so by leveling up at night while holding items that contain the word "razor" (Sneasel evolves with Razor Claw, whereas Gligar evolves with Razor Fang). LightGrace
Facts About Normal Type •Generation I introduced the most Normal-type Pokémon of any generation, with 22 (24 if Clefairy and Clefable, which had their type changed from Generation VI onward, are counted). Generation VIII introduced the fewest Normal-type Pokémon, with six. •Generation I introduced the most Normal-type moves of any generation, with 78 (counting Gust, Karate Chop, Bite, and Sand-Attack, which had their type changed from Generation II onward). •Generation VI introduced the fewest Normal-type moves, with eight. With 187 Normal-type moves, this type has the most moves available. -Additionally, there are five unique Normal-type Max Moves, the most of any type. •The Normal type has the fewest non-neutral type relations, with only four.Ghost and Normal are the only case of two types being immune against each other. -A theoretical dual-typed Ghost/Normal Pokémon would therefore be the only case where a Pokémon is immune to both its own types without needing to rely on its ability. •No Pokémon gains the Normal type upon evolving. It shares this distinction with the Bug type. -Additionally, no Pokémon gains the Normal type upon changing forms (unless reverting to its base form). •Pure Normal is the most abundant type combination overall, while Normal/Flying is the most abundant dual-type combination. •Prior to Generation IV, all dual-typed Normal Pokémon were Normal/Flying, except for Girafarig. •Normal has the most unused type combinations at six, as there are no Normal-type Pokémon that are also part Poison, Steel, Rock, Bug, Ice, or Ghost-type. •Generation VI added the most new type combinations for Normal, the most dual-typed Normal Pokémon (if Pokémon retyped as Normal/Fairy are counted), the first dual-typed Pokémon with Normal as a secondary type, and the fewest Normal/Flying-type Pokémon (with only one) of any generation that introduced Pokémon with that type combination; Generation VIII did not introduce any. •Normal is the only type to have ever lost Pokémon, having lost Clefairy,Clefable, Cleffa, Togepi, Togetic, Snubbull, Granbull, and Togekiss when the Fairy type was introduced in Generation VI. -Additionally, it is the only type to have the same number of Pokémon in two consecutive Generations. •For the purpose of the Purify Chamber, Normal is considered strong against itself, even though in battle, it is not. The Normal type is frequently associated with type changing: -More Pokémon lose the Normal type upon evolving than any other type, with a total of four (eleven if all of Eevee's evolutions are counted separately). -Eight Normal-type Pokémon have at least one signature move or a signature Ability which involves changing their type. -Most moves which involve changing the user's type or with a varying damage type are Normal-type. -Most abilities that change a move's type affect Normal-type moves. •Normal-type attacks are completely unresisted during an Inverse Battle. LightGrace
Facts About Arceus •In the Generation IV games, there are sprites for ???-type Arceus, but this is not obtainable without cheating, as there is no Plate for ???-type. -Due to how its Ability would automatically turn any Arceus without a Plate into the Normal-type in Generation IV, a ???-type Arceus hacked into the game will be treated as a Normal type. •According to the anime dub's then-voice director Tom Wayland, the dub chose to pronounce Arceus with a hard c instead of a soft c due to concerns over the latter pronunciation's potential implications in British English-speaking territories. -This pronunciation is also reflected in the name of the RKS System ability. •Arceus has the highest base stat total of all Normal-type Pokémon. -Arceus also has the highest base stat total of all Mythical Pokémon. •Prior to Generation VIII, Arceus was the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 720 and the only Pokémon that is the last of its generation in National Pokédex order that does not have a base stat total of 600. •Arceus is the only event-exclusive trio master. -Arceus is also the only trio master of two different trios: the lake guardians and the creation trio. •In Generation IV (its debut generation), it was impossible to legitimately give Arceus more than 100 EVs in any stat (without the use of glitches), since it was only ever distributed at level 100. Prior to Generation V, level 100 Pokémon could not gain EVs through battling because they could not gain experience. •Arceus is the only pre-Generation V Pokémon to never officially receive a DPBP number. Kadabra, which was not released as a TCG card during the DPBP era, is assumed to be #070, as Abra and Alakazam are #069 and #071, respectively. •Arceus received the most votes of all pre-Generation V Pokémon in the Pokémon Global Link promotion poll in both the Japanese poll and the international (non-Japanese and non-Korean) poll. •Prior to Generation VII, Arceus was classified by Pokédex color sorting as gray. •In Diamond and Pearl, Arceus can be encountered without the use of the Azure Flute by a combination of Tweaking and the Pal Park Retire glitch. -In addition, Arceus can be encountered an unlimited amount of times with this method, unlike Darkrai and Shaymin. This has been remedied in Pokémon Platinum, however, as the player can no longer freely move in the "void". •Arceus is the first Mythical Pokémon to be a game mascot. •The name of the Ability RKS System is a reference to Arceus, with its English name being similar to the pronunciation of "Arceus". In German, Spanish, French, and Italian, its name is instead a reference to Arceus's category, the Alpha Pokémon. The company RKS Laboratories (Japanese: アルセウス製薬 Arceus Pharma) in Galar has a logo similar to the rings on Arceus's body, furthering the connection. •Despite it being a Mythical Pokémon, Arceus has been sometimes treated as a Legendary Pokémon. -Arceus is called a Legendary Pokémon by Norman in the "Challenge the Normal Types" Daily Type Rotation event of Pokémon Masters EX. -The official English website of Pokémon Legends: Arceus used to refer to Arceus as a Legendary Pokémon, which was later corrected to Mythical Pokémon. In the Japanese website, it has been referred to as a Mythical Pokémon from the beginning.
