Hey i wanted to ask when this stupid Hoenn is finally coming out? You said it will come before Christmas, now its 10 days later and nothing happened. Breeding is disabled, people cant make new Comps for days and the most Players are only waiting for Update and nobody knows how long we still have to wait. It's really annoying and few of my friends already quitted. It's quite rediculous to make fake promises. You are always making new excuses that lead to late updates, now it's the Discussion about HP. This could have been discussed much earlier when u now that you implement Hoenn. I mean Santa is coming early this Year and now it's 03.01.2015 and we still discuss about something, i would not wonder if it comes out next Month. So can u be honest and say when u'r planning to bringt Hoenn really out??? Then ppl can make a break and come again when Breeding is working again. Pardon my French.

They don't affect me gameplay-wise, but they are the people who are the most hostile in their opposition to a server wipe in this thread, which I am in support of. :P The wipe will never happen, I'm realistic about that. PokeMMO is a small minority group of competitive Pokemon players surrounded by an extremely large majority of grindy MMO players.

This is so crazy...Playing so much just to have it all deleted? What? I did have fun playing, but we also play to achieve something, trade, breed, ev train. And you are saying forget all of this? I don't have many, but I love the comps I have and spent a lot to get them. I may be off the game for weeks during school or work, but I know that whenever I log in I can have whatever I achieved, play a few comp matches, even go to a tourney and enjoy the game. That is the reason I am coming back. Also, I don't really understand the problem with the rich and the poor. I am no rich, but whoever I know who is rich they spent hundreds and thousands of hours in the game. Why would they have that all taken away? There area always the rich and the poor in any game as is in life. Even the server wipe will create another game between the classes in a few month or a year. If breeding is the problem, just fix the breeding.

Premise: This suggestion concerns the new breeding system as implemented with the update of 13th January 2015. See this thread for information concerning the new system. Suggestion: Make the offspring of pokémon recreation (in this case synonym for Fusion / New Breeding) instantly available to the player, putting the (baby) pokémon in the players party without detour via an egg. Reason: This is an effort to implement the planned pokémon recreation system more naturally* into the world of Pokémon with several advantages that I see compared to the original way of recreation (= breeding via daycare). *[spoiler]Just a sidenote in case anybody would have pointed out that for some species (irl), it is actually natural that one parent (for example the male of certain insects) is consumed during the recreation process: This obviously does not apply for species with only one offspring and therefor shouldn't be applied here either.[/spoiler] Way of implementation: Once the player has finished the Pokémon League (in either region), he will be able to speak with Bill in his House on Route 25, Kanto to learn that Bill has further developed his teleport technology. Bill is now able to merge two pokémon into one, offering this service to the player (maybe after a short questline comparable to the quests that Celio offers on the islands). The player may then hand over two compatible pokémon to Bill who will merge these two into one, returning the fused pokémon to the player. Benefits: the character of the new breeding system actually appears like that of a scientific experiment (concerning the "consumption" of parents and the directly controlled inheritance of characteristics) and thus a more scientific environment feels rather adequate to me than the daycare this system would implement the (for the new system) crucial pokémon sink while giving (imo) a more plausible explanation to the "whereabouts" of the two "parents"; Bills house and the former "sidequest" (during which he was himself merged with a pokémon) would also make it fit lorewise breeding/hatching does not seem to be needed anymore (due to the new sink) to delay pokémon recreation and could therefor be removed that means there is also no need to carry 5 eggs around the changed place for pokémon recreation is also a safety net for less attentive players who aren't aware of the new breeding and risk to involuntarily loose two pokémon in daycare when they want to collect their next egg for anybody that feels discomfort with the idea of two of his pkmn getting "deleted" by recreation, an actual fusion might be more comforting (though this doesn't change the outcome, the recreation might appear more "peaceful" this way and thus make it more enjoyable for the player as he could imagine that the two original pokémon continue to exist as one :3 ) [spoiler][/spoiler] This way of implementation could also be used to make pokémon recreation be accessible at the same time no matter if a player started in Kanto or in Hoenn Supplements: the PC in Bills home should give access to the pokémon storage system with this system, the fusion of genderless pokémon is plausible and should be made possible as well as this just seems to be fair Logically, it would not perfectly fit that the "offspring" of the fusion of one male and one female would be either male or female. A solution for this could be, that only pokémon of the same gender could be fused (the result being one pokémon of this gender). This would furthermore allow "recreation/fusion" of pokémon that only have one gender without the help of a Ditto (which would also be fair imo). Please let me know if I should rephrase anything – I tried to explain the idea as good as I could. Thanks for any suggestions to refine the overall concept.

as i see it this spot would be much better than Icefall cave if it not was because of wobbufeet and leppa berries (magneton and wobbu is the only pokes which survive max atk cb fearow payday) okay i will make the calcs in a edit... EDIT: fearow will need to carry whirlwind ( egg moves for wobbu's) these calcs will be based on you are running away from all magnetons and ww all wobbus = u don't kill 11% of the encounters. but this is with cb payday fearow with whirlwind and max atk, i haven't calced if persian can 1hko the same pokes but i don't believe this will be better than icefall cave if you not can 1hko the same pokes and flee from wobbu in someway

It's pretty poop, and yeah every team should have a defensive wall, especially now that we get cool stuff. Metang, Reli, Lairon, Torkoal, Pelipper all deal with Ninjask easily. Hoping to see Lunatone soon too back to NU, where it belongs. The giga drain bit is unconvincing, sorry.

I've never understood how people can enjoy a game where fun is only had in the end-game. Both Pokemon and Minecraft are games that should be enjoyed because you're, you know, playing them. Building stuff, gathering things, always in the process of DOING SOMETHING. Not just sitting around in the end-game, doing jack shit, looking at people and going "I have more diamonds/shinys/comps than you do", that's super boring.

Hey, since breeding is going to consume 2 pokemon to create one, and the community loves this idea, why don't we find new and innovative ways to kill off the comps and level the playing field? -As pokemon age, they may drop IV stats every week, with a priority on Speed. -In PVP battles, some pokemon can be injured so hard that they cannot ever be used in fights again; you can still use them at sprites while you idle in Viridian though. -Pokemon can now have Pokerus, but unlike the original virus, this one kills all pokemon infected within a week; it is contagious and it will be passed to all your party members and the entire PC box the infected pokemon was in. -Occasionally some comps might disappear from your PC, due to a pro-freedom hacking group that aims to release all pokemon in the world. -Some pokemon may decide they do not want to battle competitively anymore, and this can happen during PVP official matches. -Some pokemon become disobedient if you use them in battles too little or too often. These are just a few I quickly brainstormed - feel free to give me your thoughts.
