Posted October 31, 20231 yr Hello fellow Halloween event enjoyers. Don't you guys think that the big pumpking on hard mode is too hard and too much rng based? I tried the same strat as last year, Honch/Tytar. Hydreigon and Weezing, but i only won 1 on hard mode, and lost like more then 10 tries. What do you guys think? Are you using some other strat? Lets debate about this π
October 31, 20231 yr In my opinion it's supposed to be hard, otherwise everyone would be using the same tactic to rip off bags from the pumpking.Β Β It's also the first day. Let's see what people come up with in regards to tactics. I think it's fine that there is a somewhat high failure rate so we don't win in (almost) every try like the other years. π
October 31, 20231 yr It's always hard at the beginning, then somebody comes with a strat and such strat gets nerfed 3 times over, making people come up with a new strat, it's a cycle; such is the life of the event farmer.
October 31, 20231 yr The only fact I do not like is that this is stupidly rng heavy. It does not include preparation, strategy, good team composition or anything else to a degree that any of those can overweight rng. Not like it was any different in the past years
November 1, 20231 yr My strategy for this halloween event pretty much same as the previous year, but this year a bit harder. Idk if this only me, but I feel like pumpthief and lil pump appearance rate on this event pretty high compared to the previous year. These 2 that makes me a little bit overwhelmed. anyway goodluck for everyone

November 1, 20231 yr The real problem isnt that it get harder than last year, they just add RNG to make it looks "harder". I would rather get a totally new event instead of having a new way to get fooled in my run. We get nerf from past strat on the already nerf of another strat from previous strat. Really frustrating to farm

November 1, 20231 yr The hardest part for me is the 2nd stage. Pumpking just keeps using Soul Drain and heals more HP than the damage i can make, and is always changing my mons. Also the Chesto Berry dissapears in the 1st stageΒ for some reason
