  4. Shortly after Celio linked Kanto and Hoenn with the help of the Ruby and the Sapphire, a rumor suddenly started to spread amongst Ruin Maniacs, about the existence of an Emerald hidden somewhere in Kanto, that Giovanni used to possess. It is said that this Emerald is at least worth 10 million cash. However, no one knows where it could be located, except the leader of Team Rocket himself. As a ruin maniac more obsessed with stones than Steven, this Emerald must be found, so the world can have the opportunity to see it with their own eyes. That is why I am seeking out your help. I discovered strange inscriptions mentioning the Emerald, but they make no sense to me. I am willing to share my information and the result of my research, and to reward every trainer who manages to find clues. As for the trainer who will find the Emerald, I am willing to buy it from him for 10 M $. If you are interested, please, let me know. I will share my discoveries next week. - Ruin Maniac Von G.

  14. Hi guys, The group stage has officially ended. All matches were updated, where we received info about any attempts of contact- we gave activity wins. Where there was no information about the match whatsoever and if it wouldn't affect the standings, we marked the match as No Contest. I need to apologize to you guys as I made a really big fuckup in the post where I listed the teams which will advance into playoffs. My biggest apology goes to Venezuela B players- I'm terribly sorry guys, due to the fact that Rest of Asia has won their week, they jumped on the 1st place, pushing 2 other teams beneath them (Set wins tiebreaker). I'm really, really sorry about this mistake and it's all on me, I should've done a simulation earlier to see this coming. MM has messaged me about it when I was sleeping and I've contacted the Captains on the Discord right after I woke up. This is the correct playoffs bracket. The delay in posting the week is due to the mistake I made, as we would like to give more time to Argentina, Belgium and China A to alter their lineups if they wish. Once again, I'm really sorry for that stupid mistake. I got no excuses. Finally, due to the fact that group stage is over, we will be handing over invidivual prizes in the following cathegories: Best OU Best UU Best NU Best Doubles Best LC Best SMOU Breakout Player MVP And 4 mystery cathegories which we decided to throw in for various reasons. You'll know what we're talking about when they will be announced. These will be announced and handed over probably during the weekend. Playoffs round 1 will begin as soon as we will receive all lineups from Captains.

  24. Hello, I don't play that much anymore, and am too much of a scrub to actively participate in competitive play. So whenever I log on, I often just try to beat any of the E4's as fast as I can for as little cost possible. This became somewhat of an innocent but interesting challenge for me after Baton Pass got nerfed. It's not hard to beat the level 100 E4's, but can you make it a (somewhat) profitable alternative to most of the other, mostly boring, money making methods? I finished some 250 runs, and found some strategies that bring me predictable results and nice chunks of money/BP without it costing too much time. I have no doubt that there are better approaches though, making me curious what you guys came up with. In short: what is your strategy to milk E4 runs? Cheers! PS: If It's interesting for you guys, I will add my strategy for beating E4's. But I feel I might be the only nerd interested in this :P

One can also have no dono + link with someone who used shiny charm (5%), or dono + link with shiny charm (10% + 5%) So if you intended to include all possible rates, I think you should add those as well. Otherwise remove the either in above sentence. Also shiny charms don't stack in any way. Good job with the guide

    Lendarios? Legendary?

Legendary pokemon system is made to balance the PvP system. Adding them will break the balance, But the staffs also said that some legendary Pokemon's may be added in future. In My Opinion Breeding system is already awesome. No need to edit anything.

    Player level indicator

Hi, first post here Just want to start with a big thank to the team, the game is awesome I've been playing for hours since I discovered it. I wanted to suggest a level system for players, based on the trainer card of the original game. The basic idea is you start at level 0, each time you finish the storyline of a region you pass next level (so up to level 4) and then one last level when you complete the national pokedex. I don't know the entire game so maybe some more levels could be added, linked to PvP accomplishments or else. The level you are at would be displayed just next to your name on the map, either with the actual number or with a logo (medal, star, etc...). The benefit is double : first, you get a nice award for accomplishing stuff in the game and can show it off. Second, and most important, it helps identify potential opponents for random duels ! As a new player the problem is I don't know who to challenge when I'm playing for the first time, since there's players of all levels, and probably a majority of high level players since the game has been up for a while. I often ended up challenging a guy who burnt to a crisp my poor level 20 pokemons with his full IV/EV competitive team. Not whining about losing here, it's just I think it would help make the game feel more like a MMO if the random dueling of people you pass by was less of a russian roulette. Nevertheless the game is still great, it's just a little idea I had to improve interaction between low level players. Cheers

  38. Hello! This has been my workaround to this little annoyance OP speaks of! I rename the pokemon I catch using "31" and then H, A, D, XA, XD, or S. So if I'm just looking for 31's, I can highlight all of them by only typing 31, or if I would like a specific stat, I can type in the corresponding letter. While it is a little tedious, the renaming is done in the time that the next encounter is loading up, so I find it worth my while. Hope this helps OP and anyone else out there catching for breeding purposes!

  40. Hi everyone, The next game update will feature a wide list of changes for PvP players. This will include a general balancing patch, refinement of most PvP systems in the game, and refinement of management tasks like move tutoring. ==== Automated PVP Updates Matchmaking will see a suite of changes, including updated reward structures, a seasonal based matchmaking ELO system, and features to encourage more tier participation. For reward structures, we have shifted the BP-based rewards to a streak-based approach. Over the years, we've been hesitant to include an automated Forfeit function in structured PvP due to the potential of encouraging poor quality matches where people forfeit while a match is still winnable. To counter this, players are now more encouraged to stay in a match at risk of losing their streak bonus, and additional bonuses are given if you're fighting an especially well ranked player. Matchmaking ELO decay has been another problem which we let stagnate over the years, which will be resolved by a season system for ELO. Seasons will last 3 months (the first season after the update's deployment will be slightly shorter due to updating in the middle of a season) and will perform a hard reset of ELO once over. Each Season will be capped off by an automated tournament exclusive to the top players of each tier's leaderboard, winners of which will receive exclusive items. To encourage UU/NU tier participation, we've introduced exclusive rewards for all tiers. Players may now also queue for multiple tiers in Matchmaking simultaneously, with a battle box assigned to each tier. Automated Tournaments have seen some attention. Tournament rewards will be more versatile in their choices, allowing for Gender selection & selectable IVs with any value (0~31). PokeMMO's Game Masters may also choose to give stacks of items, vanity items, or BP in future tournaments too. (Note that these changes only apply to future tournaments, not ones which have already been scheduled, or rewards which have been already mailed to players). On the small side, players will now be able to spectate others while queueing for matchmaking & tournaments with no fear of missing their queue. We'll now automatically shift from Spectate mode to Battle mode when a match is found. Battle Boxes are now also less terrible to manage, and can be assigned and changed more easily in the PC UI. ==== Generation 8 Updates With the introduction of Gen 8, many moves have had updated functionality increasing their versatility. Move changes will be included where applicable (Teleport, Rapid Spin, Healing Wish, Fling, and Howl), as well as ability changes (Intimidate, Moody) and egg group updates for a few species trees. This changeset also introduces Gens 1 & 2 TM moves to the relevant species, and Gen 7 changes which we'd omitted until now, including Gen7-3 (LGPE) movepools and missing mechanical changes to Gengar's ability, and the Prankster ability. Movepools for all species have been updated in some way or another, and the changes are far too numerous to note. In general, Gen 8 has priority over all other changes, then additional moves are processed from there. ==== Movepool Management Updates Those knowledgeable with earlier Gens & Gen 8 will notice that we are introducing a slew of new TMs- over 100, actually. This large bulk of items necessitated that we look at how we can better the move learning systems, and we've focused on streamlining the gain of renewable moves. Each region will now host an NPC in every healing center you come across, which will offer to teach you all of the Tutor moves that a region can offer, if you've acquired 8 badges in that region. 4 Shard-based "Regional Move Master" tutors are present in the game, 1 for each region, allowing you to learn regional-exclusive moves for a Shard+Item-based feed. Each of them is also accompanied by a Move Deleter & Relearner NPC. Prices for Relearners will also now more properly reflect the value of the move being relearned. All regions now have a store which will sell every TM in the game in their respective department stores, after you've completed its storyline. Redundant tutor data for all tutors has been removed, meaning no more TM / Tutor overlap. For GBA areas, NPCs with single-move move tutor scripts (e.g. Dream Eater) will now simply give untradeable TMs. Older Shard tutors have been removed entirely, and their moves redistributed as either TMs or into the newer Shard tutors. Overall, we feel it should be much easier to keep track of and learn. ==== This overview is not comprehensive, but covers the most important things we'll be changing this update. We're currently finalizing everything and expect to release it in early July. We hope you'll enjoy. Thanks for reading

HF: Have fun, diviertete traducido al Español. GG: Significa Good game, significa buen juego o buena partida, con lo cual te está diciendo que has jugado bien. Hax: Es el factor suerte en el mundo competitivo. Si alguien te congela con rayo hielo está teniendo hax. META: Most Effective Tactic Available. Como su nombre lo indica, se refiere a las tácticas usadas mayormente por su efectividad y eficiencia, sin gastar muchos recursos; lo que es meta también se considera lo más popular por estas mismas razones. OHKO: One Hit Knock Out. Se dice esta expresión cuando uno de tus movimientos mata de un golpe al rival o viceversa. Se dice 2HKO cuando lo mata de 2, 3HKO de 3...
