This strategy allows you to get extra income when Ditto farming taking advantage of Payday. PROS 1 Pokémon used per catch. No switching needed. Don't need to track PP of 2 Pokémons. Just your lead Pokémon 96 max Dittos per run (If you make 6 total) Extra income (400 to 450 yen) with every catch/non-ditto encounter Faster catch. Switching animation takes longer. Takes advantage of Net Ball's 3.5x catch rate. Can now be used in Johto and Hoenn - Thanks to @ddnodollar for finding this out. CONS Payday may crit resulting to fail catch Not recommended when you encounter shiny ditto May need to use awakening (in case enemy ditto uses yawn + catch fail but chance of this happening is very low, also income from payday greatly overshadows this expense) I created this strategy because I don't like switching Pokémon and I see myself tracking 2 Pokémon's PP summary window when I use the Foretress strategy. I am making a comparison due to that. Ditto will copy all of your Vaporeon's stats except max HP. The max damage you can do with Ditto in this build will be 87 with Silk Scarf and 73 without Silk Scarf. Ditto's HP will be very low to get the almost 100% catch rate with Net Ball. Hello. You may already have tried this, but I will mention as it is the best method to get help for trade evolutions. Try asking in the Global chat where there is usually staff members around open to help you - you may also be lucky to see a few in the Vermilion City (channel 1) where you can ask them directly. The past few weeks, even months I've noticed an increase in scams regarding Ditto boxes. I've also been scammed a couple of times now, but a few days ago this was the reply given to me. The same reply has been given to many of my friends, teammates and others. Where as I try to understand where they're coming from as SGM+ etc. and that these types of reports take up a lot of time for them. I feel like for long-term the "Pay X amount for 5 dittos" is very inconvenient and wont get rid of all scams regarding these type of transactions, cause majority will still pay full price upfront. Refusing to restore money that has been scammed in the future too will make people not want to report them anymore, cause whats the gain of them reporting if they wont get their money back. It's a give and take situation. I can see these type of scams being resolved by adding a feature where we can trade FULL boxes only for X amount of $.

UU has undoubtedly changed, but that's not a reason for Shaymin to drop again. Bronzong, an incredibly important Pokemon in a lot of builds, that could have a shot at checking Shaymin threatening a Toxic and having an opportunity to set up hazards, rose up to OU; Mandibuzz, and even more reliable answer, moved up to OU too. Not only that, Porygon-Z, Raikou and Entei also dropped, so we get to the point where all archetypes that aren't offense or weather have an even harder time trying to stop all these new offensive behemoths, and Shaymin dropping would mean a transformation of the metagame where unless you're running fat stall, you have no chance of surviving (ok i may be exaggerating here Crobat+Empo+Gigalith+Ground is a good core that can stop all these lo). Although it can be argued that AV users (Machamp, Druddigon, Entei, Tentacruel, Snorlax, Spiritomb) might check Shaymin, weather and more special threats, most of the time they will be switching in into an attack, and since they lack a way of recovery plus getting worn down by hazards, they get crippled easily since AV hinders down their damage output they can be played around with no complications. Most used checks/counters of Crawdaunt are Poliwrath and Toxicroak, they are used a lot not only because of being capable of this, but being a very reliable fighting type that can always switch into Empoleon, a staple in all builds. Rotom-Mow has duplicated its usage, more checks like Colbur Berry Jellicent have been explored, and right now Crawdaunt sits on 7.64% usage (almost the same as Arcanine). So can we still affirm Crawdaunt still is both an offensive uber and overcentralizing Pokemon? I myself have run teams weak to Crawdaunt with success since it's not used as much as before.

I agree that Shaymin would be a good addition to UU though, UU has changed since the last time and Shaymin now would need HP Rock to deal with Moltres and some other fire type mons. Anyway it is probably pointless to discuss anything if mons like Shaymin get banned and offensive uber+overcentralizing mons like Crawdaunt are not.

Why is there a need to be a reward for every action you do ingame? And especially for one where you're losing, you're not winning anything by losing and you know that beforehand when you join into competitive games.

Great job! It would be nice to see what Hidden power the unown you catched have, and you can try to complete a "sub quest" of catching 1 unown of each HP (without changing them with gems)

I understand that Arena trap is OP and really annoying, what I understand is why you said this: Why are you using your Volvarona check to kill the espeon? Also Weavile and Hydreigon are just 2 examples of pokemon that are strong against this core.. But are more: Mold Braker Excadril (and is not a gimmick, is the most used ability by far for exca), Gengar destroys Espeon and ghosts don't get trap by Arena Trap, Mandibuzz is also a good pokemon who can do well against Espeon and don't get trap (and slow U-turn helps you to outpivot his switches), Choice Band Scizor with U-turn (if espeon doesn't have HP fire), U-turn Mienshao, Rotow-W with trick is also very good against this core (Dugtrio can't trap or beat it and Shedinja dies to a will o wisp). Choice Scarf Gallade one shots Espeon with Night Slash, and beats Dugtrio 1v1 (even locked in that move cause dugtrio never OHKO with EQ): 252+ Atk Sharpness Gallade Night Slash vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dugtrio: 96-114 (87.2 - 103.6%) -- 25% chance to OHKO 252 Atk Dugtrio Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gallade: 102-120 (71.3 - 83.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO Jellicent beats Espeon, don't get trap by Dugtrio and will o wisp kills shedinja. Serene Grace Togekiss can Freeze/para/burn Espeon and flich it to death (dont get trap by dugtrio). And I'm thinking just a few examples, what I mean is that there are tools on the meta to deal with this gimmick, and all the pokemon I listed are not inferior pokemon that you have to carry to take down the core you mention, are true OU pokemon.

Having pokeballs (x5) with a guaranteed capture rate kills the rush that comes with shunting in the safari zone.
