Wasnt sure this post would ever be made, but, 36th shiny while looking for riolu, I finally got it. I started hunting riolu the 23rd of january of 2022 when I had 3,343 hours in game, I now have 6,558, thats 3215 hours that this hunt took. Went through a bit over 1,042,284 single encounters, had 35 fail shinies in the process, and the 36th was riolu. Thanks to the folks at @TeamMrfor not letting me give up on the multiple ocasions i wanted to do so, and thank you to the fellow unnoficial shiny existance thread enjoyers who would react to my phase-posts and give words of encouragement here, failing a single enc shunt 35 times was much less painful thanks to all of you. ❤️

Breeding a comp Pokémon only to notice that you're missing a useful egg move has to be one of the worst feelings. Not only will you have to rebreed the whole thing, sometimes you will also have to search for a long line of matching egg groups to even get the move. Gen IX has a simple solution for this: The Mirror Herb! Bulbapedia description: In battle Mirror Herb will copy an opponent's stat increase once. For instance, if the opponent uses Belly Drum, the Mirror Herb will activate and raise the holder's Attack stage to +6 as well. Outside of battle In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, if the player has a picnic with one Pokémon that holds a Mirror Herb and has an empty move slot, and another Pokémon that knows a move the first Pokémon can learn as an Egg Move, after the picnic the first Pokémon will learn that Egg Move, even if there is no matching Egg Group. This does not consume the Mirror Herb. Not only does this item have an interesting in-battle effect but it would also make egg moves much more accessible. Of course instead of doing a picnic you would have to place your Pokemon at the daycare. Alternatively you could add an npc that makes you choose 2 pokemon (the learning one and the one with the egg move) and asks for a Mirror Herb in exchange. Adding this item to the bp shop at a reasonable price would only make sense!

should put it gift gyarados shiny. so that the species cannot be traded and raised, and that would not change the value of the poke and would not have conflict with the market. and they would have it as an ornament because it will be on the pc for many years xd

Congratulations ! Long hunts are huge trials but i'm sure the reward is worth it at the end for you as well 😄 !

We'll most likely end up skipping the second Kanto. While it's great postgame content for an otherwise single-region game, it's very short and shallow on its own and doesn't add much to a game that already has five regions, including the same one with a full storyline. We'll probably try to include Mt. Silver and Red though. How that will be handled, you'll find out when the time comes. No, sorry. Check your pockets.

Hello! I've about 250 hours in game at this point. Been playing maybe 2 or 3 months now. As an old Pokemon Go player, in that dex it would display how many of the pokemon you've seen and how many you've owned. I'm hoping for something like this being implemented in PokeMMO. The reasoning being because I've been popping fossils, several thousands actually, and if that stat was available it would make life easier when explaining exactly how many attempts its taken. I know of Gilians Encounter Counter, but I don't use it because its too buggy, plus, I play on my phone quite a bit. Probably more on my phone than my computer. Fossils are easy to do while on break at work or while I'm at the park with the kids. Anyway, thank you for reading this.
