    Hey players! Today marks 7 years of me as a staff member. This quite weird sometimes adventure has been nothing but amazing feeling and if I would have a chance to decide if I want to start it all over again, I definitely would. I would like to thank you all for being part of this great community. You all make this hobby worthy of time investment, and a very enjoyable project to help at. Also from August 2nd until the 9th, I will take a vacation to see family for my Father's 60th Birthday Celebration.     During my journey from Cerulean to Vermillion City, I got a bit distracted and stumbled upon a horde of wild Mankey, which proved to be a tough fight. However, I managed to make my way through and soon came across a cute little Growlithe. While exploring the area in search of other species, I met another Trainer named @AcidChrist who became a good friend. @AcidChrist and @Xratellotaught me more about the world of Pokemon and even gifted me a Staryu! My team is growing stronger and we're all enjoying our adventure. I'm excited to see what lies ahead for us in Vermillion City!

    I am thrilled to announce that I have successfully defeated the Pokemon League for the Kanto region! The Elite Four proved a formidable challenge, and it's no surprise they are considered the best of Kanto. Interestingly, Gary beat them before I did, and his strength has grown. However, after a close match, I emerged victorious. Blastoise delivered the final blow with a fully powered Hydro Pump! After commemorating my team in the Hall of Fame, Professor Oak suggested I continue exploring the Pokemon world. I decided to fly back to Pallet Town and have dinner with my mom before embarking on a new journey. Upon reaching Vermillion City, I noticed a new ship at the docks. My curiosity got the best of me, and I discovered that the ship travels to other regions. I couldn't pass up this opportunity, so I boarded the ship and set sail to Johto. Upon arrival, I was advised to send my Pokemon to Bill's for a while. I agreed and began my new adventure!

    (check spoilers for some fun lore on these spooky pokemon!) Cubone This pokemon wears the skull of it's deceased mother. When it thinks of its dead mother, it cries. Its crying makes the skull it wears rattle loudly. It's cries that echo inside the skull and come out as a sad melody. The stains on the skull the Pokémon wears are made by the tears it sheds. At night, it weeps loudly for its dead mother, but those cries only attract its natural enemy—Mandibuzz. Yamask These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves in past ages. Each retains memories of its former life. Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was a person. Sometimes they look at it and cry. It rambles through ruins, searching for someone who knows its face. Yamask can manipulate victims if they wear its mask through possessing their bodies. Spinarak: It lies still in the same pose for days in its web, waiting for its unsuspecting prey to wander close. Spinarak's web can be considered its second nervous system, as it recognizes its prey by the vibrations it feels through the web's threads. Spinarak only come out at night; letting its prey suffer for hours if they get caught during the day, as it waits to devour them until it becomes dark. It's favorite prey to consume is Cutiefly! Spinarak is based on the Theridion grallator, also known as the "happy-face spider", which has a similar coloration as well as having a face-like pattern on its abdomen. SABELEYE: An old story was told that if you look at Sableye while their eyes burn with a sinister glow, your soul will be stolen. However, evidence suggests that this Pokémon is actually very friendly, and they will only do mischief to travelers to win their attention. Their mischief makes them notorious, but in fact it is only because they stay in the caves for too long and eventually become lonely as a result. Nonetheless, Sableye in Kalos and Alola are known to stalk Carbink in order to chew the gemstones off of them, but said food is often taken by Gabite before they could grab it. Notoriously, it has a natural rivalry with Mawile in most regions. Sableye dig holes in cave walls and floors in search of gems and ore, which they crush with their razor-sharp teeth before eating. Minerals in the ore they eat crystallize on the surface of their bodies, forming various arrangements of gems that can differ between individuals. Sableye also move about very erratically, jittering and convulsing with every step as their heads twitch from side to side. This only adds to their eerie demeanors. DRIFBLIM There’s a rumor that if you catch a Drifblim floating on the wind at dusk, you’ll be carried away to the afterlife. The raw material for the gas inside its body is souls. When its body starts to deflate, it’s thought to carry away people and Pokémon. Drifblim float anywhere the air current takes them, but groups have been known to disappear suddenly when spotted. It is more active at night than in the day. CACTURNE: Cacturne become active in the dead of night, when desert temperatures often drop to near-freezing levels. They do this to prevent themselves from losing precious moisture in the hot, sweltering sun during the day. Cacturne hunt in packs, but aren't closely bonded with one another like most pack hunters; their relations are purely task-oriented without personal bonds. In their makeshift groups, Cacturne will follow weary travelers from far behind. If the travelers try and look behind them, the Cacturne will stop moving and pose as motionless cacti. Eventually, the travelers, already weary from the day's heat, will be overcome by paranoia and collapse onto the sand. It is only then that the Cacturne will approach and attack. Oftentimes, the only trace left after Cacturne attacks are piles of dry bones. It is said that living thousands of years in the sandy desert has turned their blood into sand; although Cacturne “blood” is much thicker than that of most other Pokémon, since it is essentially their sap, it certainly is not sand, even though popular media likes to depict it that way.

    As I continue on my adventure, my partners are becoming stronger with each passing day. I am beginning to understand the joys of being on a journey and making new friends along the way. With three badges from the Kanto region under my belt, I have realized that each gym leader was tougher than the last. I am also learning the importance of training multiple teams of Pokemon in preparation for future battles and that I cannot rely solely on my favorite ones. While traveling, I encountered a few of Professor Oak's aides. Fortunately, I have managed to catch about 60 different species of Pokemon so far, giving Oak's aides a reason to reward me with tools to help me during my adventure! However, I find myself stuck in yet another creepy cave. The good news is that no signs of any Bug Pokemon are around!

    I have just arrived in Cerulean City! I had a battle with my rival and proved that I am a strong contender. We crossed the Nugget Bridge and got ready to challenge the Cerulean City Gym Leader. During our journey, we caught a few Pokemon, one of which caught our attention a lot. It was a Pokemon that appeared to be asleep, but it was also floating at the same time. It had psychic powers! We managed to catch it, and it was an Abra!
