For years I've wanted Chrystal Onix from the Pokemon Anime to be available in games. Pokemmo could definitely do it. Similar to how they have custom sprites for the Halloween event. But make Chrystal Onix an exclusive Alpha that shows up every so often. So it's not common or a shiny, but rather an event where everyone has a chance to grab it, but it's still rare. It's a reach but it would be awesome to see.

There was external factors but the major problem is what destroy the metagaming the most, that are the tier is historically slower than any other. UU metagaming are so slow that even the said balanceds, are so fat that they easily hit the timer limit. Even without regens there, the 1h limit ghost already scared people to try the tier. This makes the UU tier less played in comparison to NU and Doubles. Yes, NU is more played than UU. The justification of @Imperial is excellent, but a bit incomplete, it justify pretty well why lower tiers are played less than OU and Randoms. But it doesn't explain why UU usually has smaller number of games in comparision with other lower tiers/other formats, such as NU and Doubles.

They honestly aren't that expensive and players have the chance to grind with Halloween and upcoming events, there honestly isn't much excuse.

No yeah don't get me wrong, I don't think it was the end of the world, I just think it was a number of factors adding up all together rather than some specific thing being terribly broken/hard. However I understand/suspect it's because devs had a LOT of stuff on their plate this year with Johto, legendaries and whatnot being added/fixed/tweaked, which is why I'd rather have a clean Christmas event than having two events at half potential, if that makes sense :3 And yeah, you know better than anyone that players WILL complain no matter what (hell, look at the motorbike thread), so I'm all up for devs keeping things simple and not as ambitious for the time being. There's a lot of time for them to improve the game further, last year we had massive QoL updates and reworks and I'm all up for those over yet another "beat this boss, farm its lootboxes" event 😄

Feed it to the pumpkin to win a prize. Swarms have become more frequent for this event. Keep an eye out for new Alpha Swarms. Mysterious Wisps have been spotted around the world. Collect them all and capture special seasonal Halloween Alphas! Special ghosts may also be found with their Hidden Ability unlocked. Challenge Pumpking for a fight over his Goodie Bags, containing new vanity items exclusive to 2023. The boss can be found near Lavender Town, Fallarbor Town, Solaceon Town, Driftveil City, and Ecruteak City. The Halloween Event ends on November 12th at 11:59pm UTC+0. Players will have until November 14th at 11:59pm UTC+0 to claim prizes for any unspent candy after the main event's over. Gift Shop The Flaming Motorcycle is now available in the Gift Shop for the Halloween 2023 season The Pumpcat and Trick Kitty are now available in the Gift Shop exclusively for Halloween 2023 These companions feature multiple styles which can be toggled through the Use button Additionally, they feature unique animations when in the overworld: Other Halloween Seasonal items have been extended for the remainder of the event General Features Added an option to hide Ditto from GTL search results Berries are now separated into various categories in the Bag menu Balancing X items are now limited to 2 usages per monster while on the field. Levitate Gengar was never broken, in fact many are concerned Cursed Body is more detrimental to competitive play. Regardless, this was an update to the modern meta which as most know, is the aim of the development team. Levitate won't be coming back.

It's good to see you're focused on details but the spirit of WC is pretty much dead from this World cup onwards. Even last WC felt more authentic, this feels more like a version of PSL. Whatever the flaws of the previous host, the floodgates to join whichever team you want were opened during this one. GL tho
