This is definitely true, however I somehow can't seem to understand why UU is getting dumpstered while we have to wait for things to go OU by usage. Can't we make Pokemon OU that are going to go OU by usage with almost full certainty? And if in some rare instance we are wrong, then I guess we can let those Pokemon to be tested if they fall below the OU usage. But it feels weird precedent what we're having that before things are going to OU (which depends on the time of release can take multiple months), they are slugged through UU testing while everyone who has played Pokemon for more than 12 ladder games realize there is no way in the universe these Pokemon aren't getting OU usage. Why is UU being treated this horribly?

I will be covering how to defeat the Epic Boss of this event in three steps. I will be looking to include a video with the following information and a battle video, but this written guide will be more detailed. Step 1: Assembling Your Core Three. These are the three Pokemon you need to ensure a victory against the boss. They are as follows: Damage Dealer - TENTACRUEL - TOGEKISS - BLISSEY - Choose one! This is the ONLY Pokemon you will be attacking with. You will buff and support them with items to keep them alive. Tank -CHANSEY - BLISSEY - I cannot recommend anyone else because they perform so well. Snorlax could work. You will only be using Items with this Pokemon. COTTON BALL -WHIMSICOTT *prankster ability*- Set up Light screen for your Tank and Damage Dealer then die an honorable death. The other three Pokemon you take are completely up to you, but remember you cannot attack with anyone besides your Damage Dealer. Why? You want all three enemy Pokemon to Die at the same time, or the remaining will get large nasty buffs you don't want to deal with. The simplest way to do this is to attack with one Pokemon hitting all three slots. IMPORTANT NOTE: +SpDef Nature and good IV's are nice but NOT NEEDED. However, you should MAX EV Train both HP and SpDef on your Tank AND Damage Dealer. Step 2: Getting Your Primary Moves. Fairly straightforward, there are two moves you absolutely need to win against the boss: Damage Dealer - [HYPER VOICE---TOGEKISS/BLISSEY] [SLUDGE WAVE --- TENTACRUEL] This is the only move you will be using with them. Sludge Wave hits allies too so Focus sash is recommended on weaker allies! Tank - No moves. Just items. Whimsicott - [LIGHT SCREEN] That's it! But you will also be needing a hold item... Step 3: ITEMS! Your hold items and Battle Items will be... Damage Dealer - Choice Specs/Silk Scarf/Poison Barb Specs are obviously best but if you don't have enough the other two cheaper options will be just fine! Tank - Eviolite for Chansey and Leftovers for Blissey! Again Blissey is the cheaper option if you don't have the resources. Whimsicott - Light Clay. You get one for free in Sinnoh but you don't have the region unlocked you will have to buy on GTL. 100% needed. BATTLE ITEMS - 1-3 xSpeed. You should only need one to outspeed with Togekiss and Tentacruel but Blissey would need more. You can forego speed boosts on Blissey altogether if needed. 3 xSpecial. Max your special attack on your damage dealer. 4 xSpDef We use two on both our Damage dealer and Tank to keep them alive on turn 1-2. Then we party. 5ish Hyper/Max Potions. You probably won't need these unless you eat a critical hit or two. I completely forgot and was OK. Step 4: The Battle! If you have all the prior steps completed it's time to finally battle! This is how it will play out... Team Order Tank Your tank goes in the first slot! Damage Dealer Your damage dealer goes in the second slot. DO NOT MESS THIS UP. You will LOSE. Don't accidentally get everything prepared and then forget this. Double check. ? WHIMSICOTT Your ball of cotton goes in the third slot. TURN 1 Your Tank and your Damage Dealer use xSpDef on themselves or each other respectively. One Each. Whimsicott uses Light Screen. You will NOT get one shot if you set this up properly. TURN 2 xSpDef On both your Damage Dealer and Tank again. Depending on who got hit/Crit Depends on what you do with your third action. You are likely going to just potion whoever got hit the hardest. If the damage is degligable use your xSpecial. TURN 3 - PARTY TIME Time to start hitting back. From this point on your damage dealer will ONLY be using Hyper Voice or Sludge Wave. All other Pokemon now serve to feed the remaining xSpecial to your Damage Dealer. Potion whenever necessary. TURN 4+ Rinse and repeat the previous turn. You should be taking minimal damage and dealing a good amount yourself. You will very likely kill all enemy Pokemon on the same turn in the future. If not, you will KO the remaining in the following turn. CONGRATULATIONS You just beat the Boss! You may rest now brave warrior. Some people are never happy no matter what the team do.

People with resources are indeed favored everytime in these events, and do profit from just sitting back waiting for the strat to be out and just pick from their boxes the mon they already have. I've never been a fan of these events because it just becomes a brain dead grind, and there's no incentive to just not play the most optimal team. I agree that it is more accessible than Halloween. I wish they changed something in their event formula of a "boss" and made it evolutive - like for example, as the days go by, the boss show new actions or new pokemon, it would be imo more fun to play. However it falls still on the same issue of unfair resources and newer player might even more suffer from it - but maybe they'd have more fun and maybe you also have room to come up with bosses that can be beaten with more ways, reduce the challenge a bit since it wouldn't be able to be farmed for days once u can beat it.

If there's one thing for me that I'd have liked is that the medallions be untradable. Buying a load of medallions from GTL in order to obtain the particles, get your alpha Pokemon or simply because it was better money in my opinion makes the event one dimensional because it's only ever worth doing one thing(the gym battles) or the other(the boss fight) This would have made those farming the gym leaders have to fight the boss in order to use up their rewards and those who want boss rewards would need to battle the gym leaders forcing players to play the whole event.

bro ur ideas are very nice, but i advise to keep grinding chests till they reach 5k when they reach that price, stock 'em, after event sell 'em all no one is gonna take ur ideas in consideration (they are logic & nice ideas ❤️ ) farm farm farm chase gym leaders & elite u need a good idea use a donator status when chasing swarms .. (u may be blessed with a shiny snorlax, eevee or charmander ...

Hydreigon is working just fine Calm 252 SpDeff ~100HP ~150spA w Hyper Voice and Nasty Plot so save some x.special. Either speccs or silk scarf budget or leftovers but however, i dont feel it needs any leftovers on the DD, not even hyper potions. If even, some super potion to get chansey/blissey out of crit range and save money

The team to clear them quick is always built the same, but everyone's final 2 Pokemon are different Make sure Whimsicott and Torkoal are below Lv.30, just to be sure they get OKHO'd from opponents. https://pokepast.es/22bf5f1956494237 Whimsicott will lead with Torkoal, as soon as Torkoal brings the sun out its done. Whimsi will go first with Prankster to use Tailwind. If for any reason it lives to see a 2nd turn, memento something on the other team, killing itself and leaving the pain of -2 Atk and Sp.Atk on whatever you pick. My final 2 are Nidoking and Flygon. You cannot use Typhlosions for Fire gyms (Flannery, Blaine, Chilli) and these can be used and sweep sucessfully without Tailwind and Sun They can be used in electric gyms but I'd stick to Typhlosion since HP-Ice is attracted to Electric types in this game, and can be a pain for Flygon and Nidoking. Sometimes I only use 1 Choice Specs and have the other using Charcoal. Just in case you need flexability and you might need a Solarbeam. In Juan's Gym (Hoenn #8) his Kingdra is Lv.90 and will survive 2 full HP choice spec eruptions (x2 modest 31IV 252EV) Quickest run Ive done with these is 1hr 38.

Some other things I came across yesterday opening some Golden anniversary chests: Riches Charm (100%), EXP Charm (100%), Koban, Fishing Cap, Fishing Outfit, Tamer Outfit, Hyper Vitamins (HP Up, Protein, Carbos, Iron, etc.), EXP Candy (XL). Some TMs - Giga Drain x2, Sludge Bomb x2, etc.

Would not recommend this post to any1 not enough information. (joking hehehe) Anniversary Chest: PokeMMO Cap(Random Color), Trainer's Jacket(Random Color), Pointed Yellow Tail, Fox Tail, Bug Catcher's Net, Hurricane TM, Ice Beam TM.

I think Serp should be banned from UU immediately. Sure, it has some technical counters like Crobat and Mandibuzz but it would centralize an already messed up metagame to a ridiculous extent. Contrary Serp has been OU in Gen 6 and Gen 7, metas with incredibly high power level and it was always limited to its full potential by Chansey/Blissey, yet still was incredibly strong. I think Serp needs those special blob in the tiers to not run over things with minimal effort, or have people dedicate their full teams to make sure this thing just doesn't run them over. I'd argue it's easily Offensive Ubers in UU (sweeps a significant portion of the metagame with little to no effort) but even if that definition was stretched to the max, there is no way you could argue this thing wouldn't be at least unhealthy for teambuilding.

Simple QOL feature that should've been implemented years ago It's a feature on Showdown and for good reason. We're tracking movesets, PP, spreads/natures, checking damage rolls, positioning and win cons. It's information that should be readily available, Showdown even goes as far as to give the player movesets/PP once revealed. As Orange mentionned, this has been a feature in the main series as well for some time If my memory serves, main series assumes no relevant held item. For example, it will show X/5 until the held item is revealed either by frisk, trick etc. or the screen/weather in question lasts longer than 5 turns at which point it switches to an X/8 display) You've got space right here, look at all this space, wow Found 1 similar suggestion from 2019 in about 20s, I'm sure there are many more as it's been requested for years, do you read these? Appearantly they are specimens of pokemon that have larger appearance (just like in Legends Arceus) in the Overworld and in addition, they have their Hidden Ability. Currently, only the Kanto starters can be Alpha

But iam pretty sure because i have 8 gdrains and just opend 3 golden in total yet. Can cofirm, its normal.

I was able to use Air Cutter instead for Togekiss, so that is an option too. My second try however, they switched my Pokémon out and messed everything up, but I'm not sure if that has to do with using Air Cutter or not. I doubt it, but I thought I'd mention it anyways.

im guessing you meant the other one with something yellow behind it. thats the shiny variant of that particle obtained also after defeating red/leaf(obtained as a usable particle and can be use on any pokemon you want), you can also get them from golden chests but im guessing it is as rare as the psychic training helmet that mewtwo use to wear(even if i did get the particle first try before fighting red/leaf) so its either: -beat red/leaf -buy golden chests and gamble -or just buy it from the gts

It does. its pretty neat. I have a suspicion the devs are going to add trigger animations to the rest of the exclusive time limiteds for this event. This obviously make the giant turtle a much better investment than the poison hat and maybe even the fire robes depending on the trigger they will give it. They probably didn't release the "water gun" because it would have most likely had the same effect as the giant turtle would. For now I would def buy the giant turtle shells as a temp investment (then sell them the second they release the trigger xD). but the dragon fire robes would break the gtl if they gave them a triggerable fire animation. ANd thats the gamble fire robes or giant turtles Ofc this is all just speculation.

As far as I can tell, nothing has changed in 5 years, even with the arrival of Sinnoh, weather affected 4g pokemon were present in the META, so my arguments back then are as relevant as they are today . Still don't see the problem? Not to agree is one thing, to fire with misunderstanding is another. It's just curious to see how things evolve, and I just wanted to indicate that. Look at yourself, even here, now, you're allowing yourself to be condescending. You and your buddies make the strategist community look very bad, on PokéMMO and everywhere else, and it shows in the game. It was the same with the Wobbuffet. Nevertheless, good luck to you, hoping that PokéMMO will evolve for the better, because from what I could see, there are still things to save.
