There is no reason to feel disappointed now! We are very close to the expected release date, which is one month after the Public Test Server (PTS) for the Johto region, specifically on July 10th. However, I am considering hype for July 7th because it falls on a weekend and seems like a cool option. Additionally, I'm also considering hype for July 12th as a possible date, as a slight delay of a few days is acceptable. I apologize if you felt misled by the announcement of Johto for Spring, my friend. We all share the interest to play Johto as soon as possible. Hopefully, its release will be imminent, and we can enjoy it to the fullest. As well for the anniversary event!!!🌟

Good evening, I hope everyone is doing alright. From July 6th until the 29th, I will leave PokeMMO due to real life reasons. Also from August 2nd until the 9th, I will take a vacation to see family for my Father's 60th Birthday Celebration. I also have a lot of expectation and eagerness for the arrival of Johto on the main server, although we do not have an exact date, when it arrives we are going to enjoy it a lot, the best thing will be to have Team Pokemon ready to use during the adventure and game money saved to buy healing items or TM, so as soon as it arrives, it doesn't catch us off guard without any of the above.

I'm 100% behind you That's exactly how I feel. The update is just around the corner. Idk about 10th or 12th dates cant say anything on that as we didnt got any official announcements or updates, but yeah its been a month so chances are high 😄 Cant wait for both Johto and 11th Anniversary event!!!🌟

The 11th Anniversary Event is keep going more Further until September or October? & Finally! I like the idea, auctions can be fun social events, but they are just so vulnerable to being exploited, especially if they are on gtl. For example a player could ask their friends to make extravagant offers for an item to bait and trick other players to match/beat those offers. This is a common occurrence in auctions which is not encouraged in pokemmo. Ofc not all players will do this but there are always a few who will try to exploit this just like the 100rp-1000rp gtl scams. https://forums.pokemmo.com/index.php?/topic/136625-change-the-100-reward-point-voucher-color/&do=findComment&comment=1802035 Pokemmo discourages listings meant to trick players to buying them on gtl. They went out of their way to try to stop this by showing item prices for goods purchasable from npcs, introducing a color scheme for item listings and even changing color schemes of some items. In the end they probably won't implement this idea because it can be easily exploited and there is no way of protecting noobs from being tricked.

Tansparent So the new default theme was so ugly I had to make something to cover it up. I have no idea what im doing so it took a while :) The other purpose of this theme is to see through most of the common UI elements so you can still see what people are up to, especially when in the battle screen. I've been using Venomoth in NU and figured I would share my thoughts. For the record, my set is listed below (Timid 252 sp atk, 252 speed, 4 sp def). I am aware of the Sub+Disable set, but have not used it, so I will not spend too much time on it. Sorry for the long post, but I include some calcs. Venomoth actually has a good amount of mons that can beat it 1 on 1, if both are at 100%, even with a Quiver Dance up. This list is not 100% extensive, just the ones I've found that handle it best. Out of this list, the only mons I see being good checks to Venomoth are Gigalith and Golbat. Munchlax can only stall the inevitable for so long, Xatu would prefer to run either a more offensive or a more defensive EV spread, not this weird hybrid spread just to beat Venomoth, and I just personally don't think AV Honchkrow is any good besides countering Venomoth and Venusaur (maybe?). Out of the two checks I mentioned above, Golbat still loses to the set I use as long as Venomoth can hit its Sleep Powder and it is not a 1-turn sleep (need SR for bulky Golbat). Gigalith is the one true counter to Venomoth that can still get worn down over time, can still be put to sleep, and will soon be UU because Shaymin got banned from UU. If a balance or offensive team does not have Gigalith, all it takes is one Quiver Dance and Venomoth can sweep. Venomoth struggles a bit more against offense because it is harder to dance, but if it gets dancing, it will destroy everything, since it outspeeds the best scarfer in the tier, Blaziken, at +1. Even if Venomoth does not sweep, it still dents the entire tier and has access to Sleep Powder, rendering most of its switchins obsolete. Here are some calcs for some of the most high usage mons in NU at the moment. Gligar: +1 252 SpA Tinted Lens Venomoth Bug Buzz vs. 252 HP / 6 SpD Eviolite Gligar: 84-100 (48.8 - 58.1%) -- 95.3% chance to 2HKO Azumarill: +1 252 SpA Tinted Lens Venomoth Bug Buzz vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 108-128 (52.1 - 61.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Venomoth: 94-112 (64.8 - 77.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery Blaziken: +1 252 SpA Venomoth Psychic vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Blaziken: 158-188 (101.9 - 121.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO Eelektross: +1 252 SpA Venomoth Bug Buzz vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Assault Vest Eelektross: 72-85 (37.5 - 44.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO It takes one of the most bulky special mons in the tier (with its standard set), AV Eelektross, to not get 2HKO by +1 Venomoth. Even then, Eelektross gets chipped very easily and needs to be at 100% to have a chance of beating Venomoth. In addition, Venomoth is just bulky enough to survive the strongest immediate priority in the tier, Choice Band Azumarill Aqua Jet. With the abundance of setup opportunities against balance teams, in addition to Venomoth's Sleep Powder and team support such as Dual Screens, Venomoth is very likely to get a Quiver Dance at some point. NU as a tier does not have very many bulky mons that can both dish out the damage necessary to kill Venomoth and stay healthy over the duration of a match. The checks to Venomoth will get worn down over time, and then Venomoth has an easy time cleaning up. Other checks to Venomoth are just suboptimal sets that only exist because this thing is in the tier and needs an answer. To make matters even worse, Venomoth is immune to Toxic, one of the easiest ways to wear down setup sweepers. For that reason, I believe Venomoth should be banned from NU again. It was fun to test it, but it is still just too strong and has just enough utility to push it over the edge. Tl;dr: Please ban it. There are only 2, maybe 3 realistic switchins to this thing (Gigalith, Golbat, maybe Xatu), and 2 of them can be put to sleep by Sleep Powder.

SHINY RATE IS FAIR

Main reason being in tiers such as dubs UU NU finding ladder games itself is not as easy compared to OU and randoms. You might find it easier to find games at the beginning of the season and maybe in the days leading upto seasonals but in the rest of time you will have to wait queue after queue after queue. So after waiting that long to get a game and for it to not count for matchmaking points which are needed for the vanity can be annoying

Hi, there is my first suggestions on this forum. I played 500 hours (it's not much but I realized some problems on the game): 1 - Berries First of all I find the planting system quite practical that can be used for many things on the server (including making money). Unfortunately it is not the fastest system in my opinion and the few problems that I encounter do not attract me (and some other players i think) so much in this farm (repetitive task / obligatory connection several times a day under penalty of seeing your plant harvest destroyed for example). My proposal is the following: Do not destroy plants if they are not watered. Just stopping their growth is enough from my point of view because some people don't have time to connect 3 times a day at different times irl and lost berries is lost money (And for not to affect the price of the berries the npc could buy them at a price of 700$ for example so that the GTL is not affected) ! 2 - Secret Shiny The secret shiny pokemon are an excellent thing offered by Pokemmo in the same way as the alpha for me but unfortunately few people will succeed in having them regardless of their determination (especially their OT) as a reminder the shiny rate is basic at 1/30,000 and 1/16 of this shiny is "secret shiny". I agree that the rarity of these is completely legitimate and my aim is not to propose something that destroys their price but only their obtaining for the brave. However 1/30,000 x 1/16 = 1/480,000 so even if some people farm this kind of shiny (without sweet scent) they would surely put hundreds of thousands of hours continuously to find 1 at their OT for them. more unlucky. My proposal to remedy this problem without breaking the economy is therefore the following: Activate a chance that the breed of 2 shiny results in a shiny secret (example of rate: 1/30 or 1/50)). Hi everyone, It has been a while since the last server update, so we'd just like to give a bit of notice as to what we've been doing, and what's coming up for PokeMMO. Late last month we released the initial Android client to donors, and we've been very happy with the response. There has been a lot of enthusiasm about it from new and old players alike, and we're very grateful for it. We are currently working towards making Android generally available, and we think we'll have the first general availability builds available within the next few weeks. Because the Android and Desktop client share the same renderer, all of the performance optimizations which have gone into Android will also be propagated to the Desktop client. Right now though, the Desktop client is a bit unstable because we redid how many important things work in order to make Android as performant as it is. On the server side, we have been focusing on finishing features of the game which are currently incomplete, like battle mechanics, as well as improving other existing systems. We're currently working to resolve the newly introduced bugs and glitches on the Desktop client, and we're hoping to update shortly after Android's general availability release.
