    New Out Of Battle Abilities

    Ever since i first started playing pokemon seriously in gen 5, i learned about the OOB (Out Of Battle) ability usage of 2 particular abilities that don’t currently work in PMMO. From what i remember when playing and shunting in gen 8, there are now 6 abilities (2 of which are dittos of eachother) that increase the rate of certain typings depending on what ability the lead pokemon is. The abilities in question are as followed: Magnet Pull: Increases the likelihood of Steel Type Encounters Flash Fire: Increases the likelihood of Fire Type Encounters Harvest: Increases the likelihood of Grass Type Encounters Storm Drain: Increases the likelihood of Water Type Encounters Static/Lightning Rod: Increases the likelihood of electric type encounters The addition of these OOB abilities would help tremendously not only in terms of finding a specific Pokemon for Pokedex Completion but for shiny hunters as well. Being able to increase the likelihood of a certain type of Pokemon spawning can likely decrease the chance of phasing on a particular shiny that wasn’t the intended target. even with 1/30000 odds of finding a shiny, it can still be troublesome when you go way over odds just to get the non-intended shiny. this can motivate more people especially newer players to go for rarer hunts. I am also posting this on mobile because it was a late night thought i had a couple of times already so i figured id might as well shed some more light for these particular abilities to be implemented.)

Tools Keep in mind that you can save your data from these tools across devices by logging into an account on PokeMMO Hub. Otherwise it will just be saved to your device's local storage. The Breeding tool provides the user with a way to carefully plan and visualize their breeding projects. You can enter your target IV's of the end product and if you want it natured. The Breeding tool will then output an image of the steps you can follow to achieve this. It will also display the total estimated cost of the breed. This tool is a convenient way to access the Pokedex while you're not in-game. In fact, it provides even more useful features than the in-game one, such as catch rate depending on health and status conditions. In addition, of course, it provides their egg groups, wild locations, and base stats. You can easily search through the Pokedex using the search bar, which you can filter by regions, egg groups, and encounter types. You can even find all the pokemon that you can encounter in any specific route/location in a region. Egg move breeding is difficult for everybody, but with the Egg Moves Calculator you can select any pokemon you wish to receive an egg move, and it will display all the egg moves it can learn, and once clicking an egg move, it will display all the breeding chains that can be used to achieve the egg move on your selected pokemon. The Egg Moves Calculator visualizes the breeding chain in a very simplistic way making egg move breeding easy! The Cosmetics Helper is a tool that lets you try on any combination of items that you desire. It will display images of what your character will look like in-game - from all sides! You can also select a pokemon follower too! There is also a randomizer if you're bored or need inspiration or a laugh. Here is an example of an outfit (I didn't know shadow bone club color didn't match with the blue flaming skull until I used this tool). The Berries Helper tool is a terrific way to stay consistent with berry planting and harvesting, without checking in-game or flying to your planted berries to check on their status. To use this tool, select the berry you planted (remember to favorite the berries you frequently plant so it appears at the top of the list) and click water. It will update your berry water status as the time goes by so you can check if it needs to be watered or not. Additionally, it will let you know when it will be ready by. You can use the tool as you plant the berry for easy use, or change the time to when you planted it. Market Widget Featuring an all-new design for our market data. We now display price and quantity together to illustrate the effect it has on the market. However, this is only a homepage widget that displays a few of the latest items. To access the rest of the items refer to below. This is where all items are listed with their current price and quantity. You can click on the item you desire to view their item page which contains the price history chart and other available information about the item, such as cosmetic preview or where to acquire that item. You can search through every item and filter by item type. You can even filter event bags 😉 And finally, we have GTL Investments. This feature is great because you can input all your investments using the various 'Create Investment' buttons through-out the site on the specified items and charts. It will save and you can view your list, which will show the quantity of what you bought, and at how much. It will calculate the profit or loss of your investments using the current available price data. Here is an example of a typical Mage Staff investor's portfolio 😭 Introducing the new Trade Ads section! Here you can post items to offer and request, and users can contact you in-game if they are interested in your trade. This feature serves as an alternative to the in-game Trade Chat, which is very spammy and annoying to keep open all the time. You can only post a Trade Ad every 15 minutes, and newest Trade Ads are sent to the top. Here is an example of a Trade Ad: We also provide useful miscellaneous information such as gym level caps for each region, a table of EV hordes and berries, and a gym re-run calculator! Also, Upcoming Events displays upcoming PVP tournaments and upcoming catch events, contests etc. Misc info You can change languages at the bottom of the page in the footer. There is an account system where you can log in and all your data will be saved across different devices. This includes your investments, planted berries, your last breed, and pretty much anything. If you're not logged in, it will be saved to your device's local storage. We also have a discord bot which replies with a 2 week price history chart of any item you specify that's on the GTL. If you would like this bot in your discord server, you can access the bot invite link in our discord in the #bot-invite-link channel.   4. We'll most likely end up skipping the second Kanto. While it's great postgame content for an otherwise single-region game, it's very short and shallow on its own and doesn't add much to a game that already has five regions, including the same one with a full storyline. We'll probably try to include Mt. Silver and Red though. How that will be handled, you'll find out when the time comes. No, sorry. Check your pockets.

  5. this thing is broken, vs ho theres no problem, you will always have the tools to deal with any broken sweeper, but all scenarios must be considered, vs balance or stall theres not a single "ou" mon that wall this thing, this one is a different version of the old sd chomp, chomp had speed, this one has bulk, and thats better vs slow teams, and the worst part is that priority moves cant take it down, at least vs chomp u had ice but against this thing what. Id say sd with sacred, ice, psycho covers most of the tier.

  11. I love the new effect of seeing the pokeball as we set our followers. I always wanted a way to have the Safari Ball skin on my breed pokemon. It's about time we had this pokeball as a rare item. I was thinking it can be a Johto bug catching reward as well as a safari zone rare pick up item.. just shooting an idea out there. For those who think it would devalue a safari caught pokemon, I argue it would not because we can see if it was caught in a safari zone via summary.

I've decided to list the most common physical attackers and play potential scenarios if these Pokemon were to face Vaporeon 1v1: Physical attackers in NU: Blaziken, Piloswine, Azumarill, Ninjask, Cloyster, Golem, Scrafty, Drapion, Absol, Escavalier, Hitmonchan, Pikachu, Sharpedo, Swellow, Cinccino, Abomasnow, Braviary Depending on the Vaporeon set and being versatile that you can customise EVs accordingly, even some special attackers may struggle to take it down without taking unnecessary chip like Zoroark and Alakazam. The best counters for this would obviously be grass types like Lilligant, Ludicolo, Sceptile and Eelektross, and some decent checks like Clefable (offensive set) and Rotom-F (offensive set). I didn't want to spend too much of my time providing calcs unless absolutely needed (feeling lazy), but I've played quite a few games against Vaporeon and it can handle a huge proportion of the mons in the current meta. The sets are predictable, that's true, but unlike other walls it also has a decent special attack stat to chip/burn a lot of potential switch ins. To me, it brings out similar vibes to Porygon2 in UU in the sense that it pressures almost every physical attacking mon (yes you could say Sableye does as well except it doesn't carry incredible bulk), has an amazing ability in Water Absorb, has great special attack to potentially be decent offensively and has the option to heal its status if it gets poisoned. What makes it most difficult to break down Vaporeon is the Wish + Protect combo. It can also PP stall against Pokemon like Golbat who now has access to 8 Roosts PP maxxed, and if you really want to be niche Vaporeon can pivot out with Baton Pass after using Wish if it really does feel pressured, switching in later if it can. Personally, I think this Pokemon should be considered as a defensive-uber and it should not have dropped to NU in the first place, but it did because people were spamming Poliwrath and Toxicroak in UU due to Crawdaunt. P.S. Sorry if this post feels poorly worded compared to my previous ones, feeling quite lazy right now but wanted to address my concerns.

I wanted to express my thoughts on the recent trend of golden masks in your releases. While the Golden Dragon Mask was certainly a hit when it first came out, it's becoming increasingly clear that the novelty of the golden color has worn off with the subsequent releases of the Golden Tiger Mask and Golden Rabbit Mask. As a player, I'm feeling that the golden color is starting to look cliché, and many of my fellow players share the same sentiment. We would love to see a new wave of colored masks that offer a fresh and unique look for our avatars. While the psychic bird mask has a cool color, we're craving more diversity and creativity in the mask designs. Therefore, I'm urging you to consider creating colored masks for your upcoming releases. They don't necessarily need to be colorable, but rather have a variety of colors to choose from. I believe this would add more excitement and appeal to your cosmetics line, and make it stand out from the current sea of golden masks.   15. Hello. My name is Mikey but everyone just calls me Michael because thats the first part of my screen name, and i have a lot of foresight. I would like for Ledian's (and Ledyba's i guess whatever who cares) HA, Iron Fist, to be added to the game. Now, hear me out. I know its a hard thing keeping this game balanced with the constantly shifting metagame and the creative original team everyone brings to OU. Im no competitive expert myself, i have never been in a tournament, but i know a few things about pokemon because i watched the first movie like 30 times back when i was short. U are worried that an already strong & respected pokemon like ledian will just be too much with an added 20% damage to its devastatimg punching attacks and outrageous 35 attack stat with access to swords dance. this much is obvious. but hear me out - look at is lil fists. just lookitum. hes a punchy dude hes gotta punch, typing be darned. if u still have doubts after reading that, idk what to tell u. now if it needs to be balanced out, there is one obvious solution. ledian is weak to fire, and blaziken exists, though without speed boost it may struggle to keep up with ledian's lightning pace. u guys are the smarty smart game balancey peeps not me so u can draw ur own conclusions from that. In Conclusion,my physical ledian and, im sure, MANY other ppl's physical ledians are sitting in the box just waiting for its finishing touch. pls, devs, let them shine. so we may finally dominate ou with unstoppable +2 iron fist focus punches as arceus intended.

  22. Holy shit that was fast. Amazing work! 😄 I just now realized that it doesn't track TMs, which the last site did. Is that something you're aware of and/or working on? 😄 Also, a little bug report; modifying an investment and then creating a new investment without refreshing the page, messes with the old investment you made instead of creating a new one. Steps to recreate; Create investment Modify newly created investment Go to the item section and create a new investment If you add a page refresh between steps 2 and 3, it works as intended without problems. Here's a little video showcasing the bug in action: In the video I create a new investment for Goodie Bag (2019), 50x at 0 yen per. Then I modify it to be 40x instead. I then make a new investment for Pumpking Goodie Bag (2019), 10x at 0 yen per. Instead, it modifies the old Goodie Bag (2019) investment to have a quantity of 10x Last suggestion I wanna end on; A total gain for all your investments! A little box above the "gain" column, showing the total gain from all your investments. Maybe even a little box showing the total amount you've spent on all your investments as well. Graphical artists' rendition can be seen below; ❤️

  24. It would be cool if you could bet money in PvP and the winner takes the money. For example both players bet 500k and the winner would win 1m. This would make more people interested in PvP and this could also be a decent money sink, for example you could make a small tax fee. I would think the reason that its not in the game already is because they don't want any gambling, but lootbox items (presents, goodiebags etc.) are already a form of gambling. Thoughts?

  31. I'm still a beginner, but I believe that the main problem currently in the NU tier is not Vaporeon actually. The main problem currently are Pokemon like Scrafty and Azumarill, as they become limiting factors when building PvP teams. Let me explain, for example, with Azumarill + Scrafty in the tier, you ALWAYS have to bring a Pokemon with Haze or a predetermined style of walls to stop them, making it difficult to build based on innovation. Pokemon such as Samurott, Sharpedo, Miltank, Slowbro, Slowking, Alomomola, among many others, lose their usefulness because this pair of Pokemon is much stronger and more usable in the tier. In my humble opinion, I believe that most players do not build their teams based on the danger that Vaporeon may cause, but rather based on making sure that Azumarill or Scrafty do not become a problem. I've seen very well-balanced teams that can't do anything against either of these two Pokemon, which makes gameplay somewhat boring because you are forced to stop using very good alternatives such as Tangrowth, Rhydon, Cryogonal, Musharna, Claydol, Frillish, Throh, Lumineon, and many other good alternatives that cannot control this pair that can sweep your entire team with just one boost if you don't bring Haze or the typical style of walls.

    I actually would love this for swarm/alpha locations. It's hard to see the Pokemon when the whole server gathers on top of them lol It's also annoying during story playthroughs, as I've missed items because of people standing on the same tile where items are. Or even not being able to tell between an npc or a player so I'll go into a fight I wanted to avoid. The player limit thing as OP stated, just turns people into shadows with username still showing. It doesn't actually hide them.

  33. The craze for string mods is at an all time high. People are blanking all the text from their games or playing in chinese just to get through the game quicker instead of using the string system for better/additional translations. Since the strings get updated every game, a lot of them don't notice that they are using outdated files and are missing out on the updated descriptions of items, moves, abilites, etc. Instead of enabling people to speed through the game using unreliable string mods and having them complain why their game is not working properly, you should add a 5th text speed option, that displays the text instantly, barring line breaks and intentional delays. That way you'll get rid of the "speed difference" between different languages. You'll be able to play through the game just as fast as when using a blanked out version, just without needing to glitch your game and relying on knowing all the dialogue by heart.

Once you enter the gym area you will be greeted by the first challenge before you’re able to face the Gym Leader Joe Blaze. The answer is based on the fire power of each move, if you select one with low power the meat will stay raw, also if you select a move with too high power, the meat will burn.     Revert PC UI Changes

    It might look obvious to release smaller batches of updates, but it's not always possible. While certain person might work on X feature, another works on Y. And Y could be months from release while X is expected to hit in next update. So while Y is still being developed in background, sometimes the person working on Y comes in to help with the X as it's closer to release. For example Johto isn't small to work on either and it's been in development for quite some time, and blocking another feature ( already fairly complete ) from being released just because we want to release Johto faster isn't always a viable option. UI is also a bit annoying to work/rework on as we have much bigger update planned for it in who knows when future ( not actively developed at this moment - so don't bring your hopes up ), and doing anything with existing one is somewhat delaying it even further, but with some reworks like PC some parts can be reused. We feel like PC was well worth the effort tho, as being core part of the gameplay experience and important tool in the game. It's probably best to to create new topic for suggestions, although I can't promise anything will be added ^^

    Revert PC UI Changes

    Gonna chime in a bit and give my few words on the seemingly hot discussion here. First I wanna address one thing, it's easy to look at one feature and say "If I would work on this feature I would get fired if it released this way", yeah surely - it's not perfect, but I think statements like this are a bit of overreaction right now. As the main area of focus from me was around Johto related stuff recently and some other areas of features / bugfixing, I haven't got enough time to go over the PC changes as much as I wanted - overall PC rework was an effort of more people. PC Rework is not final state, has been released this way as we thought it would already be an improvement to older PC in it's current state, and I still feel the general feedback is good from the functionality part of it. Might not be the prettiest interface ( esp. on desktop ) we shipped, but it will get some more love in coming days. Rework took a lot of time to work on underlying code to have it properly working with keyboard/controllers/android while retaining old functionality and adding tons of new ( filtering/multiselect/quick itempreview/summary view ). It's not just UI/UX. Some of the work was added closer to the patch day and didn't get enough love/polish we would like to. The sprite size of mods is already resolved for pending patch and will have them be automatically scaled to fit in the summary view if too big, probably something we will also eventually implement in non-pc summary window as well. The unused graphic asset you found was a initial placeholder when PC rework was started, it's likely not gonna be used and new asset will be placed in place of it. I highly suggest to avoid doing too much work on the PC custom theme area as this actively getting worked on and might require some re-doing once it's updated just a little note to keep in mind. I'll be watching this topic for any extra constructive feedback including the existing one, but some of the suggestions here I was seeing were already planned to have on ( and just didn't have enough time to finish it in time for the update ) or were already changed for next client patch.

  40. Dear PokeMMO Staff, Exclusively, @Rache and @Darkshade I am writing this to express my appreciation for the recent release of the Shinigami Robe cosmetic in your game. It is an amazing addition that brings the world of anime closer to the players. However, I noticed that there is no complementary sword cosmetic available to complete the Shinigami look. As you know, Shinigami characters in the anime we use to know always carry a sword known as a Zanpakuto, which is a crucial element of their appearance and identity. Therefore, I believe that releasing a Shinigami Sword cosmetic would be a great addition to the game and enhance the overall experience for players. Not only would this give players the opportunity to fully embody their Shinigami characters, but it would also add an extra layer of customization and personalization to their gameplay. It would also provide an opportunity for players to show off their unique style and creativity within the game. In conclusion, I urge you to consider adding a Shinigami Sword cosmetic to the game's existing features. This would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience for players and make PokeMMO an even more amazing place to be. Just let the gyarados remain shiny, standing there at the lake, only that you can't catch/battle/any with it, I think this is better for many reasons, first, the game wont lose his original walkthrough, second, shinies wont be affected, third, why would any player catch a normal gyarados in that way? Even if it spawns with high ivs and untradeable, there are better ways to get a gyarados since there are cheap breeders on gtl. So, why dont just let it there as a statue/gargoyle?

  42. 100% not gonna be obtainable as shiny one , probably can be an alpha or shiny gyarados/normal gyarados to defeat like giratina in sinnoh , thats what im still thinking about , but its not gonna be obtainable so shiny gyarados will have no value as shiny and people will always do alts johto speedruns to get that shiny everytime to sell thats why it cant be obtainable or tradeable

  43. They should allow this after all theres a whole casion with fully functioning slot machines in kanto xd. In fact the whole game is somewhat gamble: -> you wanna shiny hunt ( rolling that 1/30 k dice baby) -> pvp (crits misses scald burns flinches you name it -every time you pvp youre betting you're will be on the right side of chance) These are some of the things that most like about the game so i dont see why they shouldnt add money betting to pvp.

  45. I don't know if I would necessarily agree with that assumption, in theory one in every 30,000 players would encounter a shiny on their first encounter. Once you have not encountered a shiny on your first encounter, you could hypothetically separate them into two groups, those who have encountered a shiny already, and those who haven't. As time goes on you would find that the person who encountered a shiny one their first encounter would have already encountered their shiny and thus would have to do a lot more encounters to find another one, in theory at least. Those who didn't find a shiny on their first encounter would by default be more likely to find a shiny in the future, since they have not found one in the past. This would really come down to the way the game is coded. If the game is coded to give out one shiny per 30,000 encounters, and 1 shiny per 27,000 encounters to those with donators, the only thing that would matter would be the timing of your encounter, not how many encounters you've done. It would be predetermined which encounter would be a shiny, it would just come down to getting an encounter at that exact time. Why would you not add each encounter to the aggregated probability? Even if not for the next encounter, but for future encounters in general? As you are encountering pokemon the present is becoming the past and you are moving into the future, you seem to be agreeing that you can find the probability of past events occurring using the method I used, the disagreement is coming from the lack of a way to actually quantify time or to quantify what is possible or impossible in regards to it. I also have not been saying they are independent, this is just operating under the assumption that they are.
