People are way too friendly, always greet you when you login, they are always trying to invite you to group activities, and even invite you to charm without you even asking. It's awful. I've been playing this game way more time than I should, and I keep getting shinies because the charms never end. So please, do yourself a favor, and look for a more afk team, this one, way too active...

Quick thread about the latest gift shop utilitary item that was added a few patches ago. This item essentially allows to share experience between all team members without having to hold Exp. Share. Also gives a +5% bonus to experience gathered which is cool Initially, it was possible to combine it with other items such as Macho Brace to double the speed at which we could EV a pokémon, which means the item was useful for breeders and trainers such as myself. However maybe the devs didn't forsee that possibility early on and latest patch added this fix : So now my question is simple : what should is the intended purpose of the Exp. Reamplifier ? What was it designed to accomplish ? Because I fail to see that ... It appears as if this item has no purpose and can be replaced by the good old 5x Exp. Share that everyone used and which costs 1/10th of the price. That cheap method is actually more QoL friendly since you can decide which mons are getting the EVs and EXP and not force giving it to everyone else. The only use I can see for it is for players that are still doing the playthrough, as they can continuously exp all their team while holding battle items on all their pokémon, but I doubt they will have and invest 2.600.000 yen to buy such an item off the gift shop ... (???) I might have missed something about this item so I'll just ask again : what does it bring to the table that justifies its existence ?

Players don't enforce our rules and sometimes don't even fully know them, so this will never be implemented. If players think their mute/ban is unjust, they can appeal. Entei is clearly too strong for the tier overall however there are still some good checks to his limited movepool. Kinda the same issue as mons like PZ/Crawdaunt they can be overcentralizing because their answers are limited (especially Entei in Sun actually), the issue with Entei being access to such a strong prio and 100 speed tier which is top tier for UU, combined with his great bulk it's quite hard to even revenge kill it. I believe he's actually way stronger than Shaymin was, but they have a different kind of role so Shaymin was deemed banworthy because potentially unwallable (with RNG) while Entei is walled but harder to actually outplay by offense teams, since most offensive water/rock mons are scared of burn and fires usually lose if they switch in. About the checks Flacu mentionned : I believe with Empoleon being gone Vaporeon will become more prominent. Poliwrath can actually check it really nicely even offensive sets, you just have to build them properly. Rhyperior / Gigalith / Druddigon can only tempo Entei for a bit but are badly crippled by the burn because lack of recovery and lack of damage after the burn. Hippowdon / Gligar can rly counter it but they don't like the burn either. Flygon & Gastrodon are probably the best answers if played with special moves & defensive investments. Not rly much to say about these. Also can't assume Entei is going to be adamant, you'd be surprised how good jolly can be as well (so Flygon is not guaranteed to outspeed) So to conclude, the amount of mons offense can easily slot to play around Entei is realistically 2 : Flygon and Poliwrath. Altho still plenty of options are available as you can see (outside of sun).

After using Entei myself basically everywhere, i can say that i was truly impressed by how good it is. It's got everything; bulk, speed, and an acceptable moveset that goes along its attack stat. Sacred Fire can be spammed so easily and it doesn't even matter if the opposing Pokemon resists it because 50% of the time it's going to be crippled with a burn (not to say how common it is for Entei to win late games with just Extreme Speed). And that is when things get ugly. Let's check what Pokemon can switch into Entei (it forces a lot of switches so it's important to know) (nonsensical yapping ahead): So we can see the biggest problem with this dog lies in Sacred Fire, having a burn chance bigger than Scald lets Entei cripple a lot of its switch-ins for the rest of the match. I suggest a discussion thread made about Entei to investigate this matter further.

I can't give a precise ETA at this stage, but it will take some time as we're working on improving and expanding the feature. The version previewed didn't include several intended balancing and QoL/polish changes, and was limited to some of the simpler custom effects we're planning to include. The event gave us a better idea of how players approach them and how we can improve the overall experience too. There's still a fair bit to do to get them feeling as good as we'd like them to and to create a greater variety of boss strategies to build around. We're aiming to launch them in a state we're proud of, and hoping it will be worth the wait.
