Hello there, so psl is over and before the next one can even happen theres things that have to be figured out. Yet, and i hope im not alone on that, the game lacks action when it comes to comp. The tournament schedule is dead and even if it wasnt, theres no hype. Watching the gba on youtube and knowing psl was a smogon rip-off as well, i had the idea to just adopt the format for our game, since it seemed pretty cool to me. For those who dont know what gba is: draft of season 6 So theres set pools of mons that competitors can draft from. The rosters people draft are known and participants will battle it out on a weekly basis, being able to prep for the roster they will face. Could be organised as some kind of team event, but since psl is all about squads battling it out, i thought a single competitor format would be cool. I guess theres more specifics that can be worked out, but this thread, for now, is all about checking if people would even be interested in a format like that. Also, there would have to be people, who are into theorymoning, so we´d have tiered pools to draft from AND last but not least, we´d need a host. I´ve already been talking this over with @OrangeManiac who can imagine to take on a role as a co-host, so we dont start at zero. So ye, what you guys think; good idea; bad idea; would you wanna see something like that happen; would you like to take part in that?12 points

What frustrates me about recent developments regarding development is that we KNOW the big picture game design things, like android, dungeons, more PVE content, etc, are going to take a lot of time to create, tweak, and improve after release. So wouldn't it make sense to make sure your core gameplay stuff (BASIC move/ability compatibility for gen 5 stuff) is intact and working right that way the players have a polished final product to pass the time while the larger scale things are being worked on? I think a real opportunity to improve quality of life for pvp players (in other words, your players who are participating in the only endgame this mmo has to offer) was missed here. It's not the kind of thing that's gonna bring the game down, or mess things up forever - I'm not a doomsdayer here. But it's still pretty annoying, because it just doesn't make sense.5 points

Just make player sign ups and manager sign ups at the same time. If you wan't to be a manager also sign up as a play just in case (unless you don't want to play I suppose). And more importantly, make people say which tiers they want to play. I still don't know why that wasn't mandatory this season4 points -

Abilities, eviolite, flame orb, the missing moves etc, when ? I feel like playing a teaser of gen5, I also think there is a conflict of priorities, promising us dungeons for HA's, then legendaries, and then Android betas.. I mean, maybe one thing at a time is better than everything at once which is taking much longer.2 points

As others have stated new regions are not currently a priority, eventually we will reassess to see if we believe that a new region will be beneficial but as of now we have other focuses such as Android , Dungeons , and completing the region we already released.2 points

Wassupp PokeMMO It's EternaLInsomniac here coming at ya with a brief discussion today, i've been scrolling through the forums seeing whats going on in the community and i stumbled across a few post Regarding Level Caps and how it affects the game and players alike. So IMO i believe Level Caps are Healthy for the environment and player base as a whole because instead of mindlessly training up one pokemon to wreck the entire game it forces you to think a lil bit and come up with atleast a somewhat decent strategy to get through the game and just makes the game a more fun and immersive experience i know some of the new players and returning players just wanna blow through the storylines and jump right into prepping for the competitive side of the game but don't worry bout that enjoy the experience the Devs worked long and hard on the entire PokeMMO Game not just one aspect of it so take the time to enjoy and appreciate it for what pokeMMO is as a whole don't get bent outta shape over cosmetic issues like that. tl;dr; git gud It's not even like the game is hard, just you can't faceroll as you would in the handheld versions, which is healthy, and makes it slightly more challenging to new players, makes the game more engaging.2 points

Would love to see something like this happen. Of course it wont be on the grand level as psl because of the limited amount of players this offers it is still worth a try imo. My biggest concern would be the tiering of pokes, will there be a council to rank them? Our meta isnt complete and constantly evolving so hearing peoples opinions on where certain pokemon will land may contradict one another. The lack of competitive updates is killing the reason to even log on, atleast with an active event like this we would have a reason to breed multiple and creative sets to teambuild every week. Im down to participate and help donate if you do decide to make it happen.1 point -

Few things to point out before registration: Please add Captain of team when you're registering team. Captain is person that I will try to contact in case of any troubles. If you will put "someone" I will pm literally OT "Someone". AW can post roster earlier, as they have earned registration slot. Btw, last time team won 3 times in a row was in July, 2014, and that team was...AW as well. First team to achieve it was LYLE, who has won 4 TT in a row back in 2013.1 point -

At the very least make the shinies 3x31, the only interesting one in this seasonal is the Mantine and even then it's held back by the fact that it will lose some bulk on one stat. The other two will lose a lot of implied power once they get scouted and before that the person who faces it will know it cannot be a solid hybrid set unless they somehow run 25 speed which is kind of bad for both mons. Hell I don't see a single reason why anyone would want the Dnite since in the far off future Multiscale will come out and that prize Dnite will gather dust in the PC forever.1 point
