Team [Mr]'s Shiny War 5: Aquaboy Vs. Magmagirl Fifth edition of the bi-anual [Mr] team war event (This event is for in-game [Mr] Members only and NOT open to the general public) (Thanks JMmainard for the artwork @JMmainard) Team [Mr] is hosting the 5th edition of our legendary SHINY WAR event for all of our (in-game) team's shiny hunting members to join. This is a 1 week long, 2-team, group shiny race. Every player wishing to join can sign up and will be noted down and then drafted to 1 of 2 groups/teams on the day the event starts. Each shiny found during the week long event will gain points for that player's team, and at the end of the week, the team with the most points wins. Points per shiny will vary depending on how the shiny is found (single encounter, safari catch, 3x horde, 5x horde, egg hatch). We will be hosting a team draft for both teams 1 hour before the event to decide who goes on which team. The captains are going to be GingerMatt and OHJI. You may mail me in-game or via Discord to sign up to participate. May the best team win! Point system: 35 Points - Alpha shiny (Regardless of encounter method) 15 Points - Egg shiny (or revived fossil) 7 Points - Safari CAUGHT shiny (fled = 0 points) 6 Points - Single Encountered shiny 5 Points - Double Battle Encountered shiny 2 Points - 3x horde shiny 1 Point - 5x horde shiny +1 Point if the pokemon is also a secret shiny (ex. secret shiny found in a single encounter: 7 points) Bonus Point Days: For three days during this war, bonus points will apply for each shiny caught in certain formats/types. Note: The dates are only based off EDT time (from 12:00AM EDT until 11:59:59PM EDT). As far as I know that doesn't affect odds at all, only modifiers are Donator status and Shiny charms. Even if your account got banned/sanctioned you don't lose "odds" As an anecdote, Kaynine found a shiny hoothoot while we were playing League of Legends 😄

Shiny ban doesn't exist at all, if someone told you otherwise, this is false. Please just follow official sources regarding those kind of topics, since you can mislead many players with a statement you don't have evidences about. Asides gift pokemon, which can't be shiny (starters, the ones obtained by special trades aswell), no account has their shiny odds increased or decreased. On a personal note, this is the kind of posts which increase the myths, being the "shinylocked account" one probably one of the hardest to erradicate.

I don't think shinies are in any way lacking in value that they need vanity items attached to them in addition -- they themselves are already the valuable drop.

I know I've been very toxic recently asking for Johto, but if I'm so obsessed for this is because I know that this game with just the last ''Japanese'' region would be perfect And it would be perfect not because of the fact that you can visit all of the first 5 regions, but mostly because of what the entire project represents I've been playing some rom hacks in my high school days, especially Shiny Gold, Liquid Crystal, and a bit of Ruby Destiny before HGSS came out, and although all of these are very nice fangames none of them can come even close to what PokeMMO actually is The first time I've heard about this game Pokémon Sun and Moon still had to be published, but as it was a ''fangame'' because of my mental limitation (which still lasts) I refused to download it Same thing within the pandemic But now, with almost 1 year of playing, especially being as rude as I am throughout Nin***** fangames, I can absolutely confirm that there's nothing else out there like PokeMMO An unofficial Nint**** online videogame which has been online for almost the last 11 years despite their lawyers, and with a very nice community most of the time This game can really be a safe place for not just people who's been wanting this in their young age, but even for people like me who didn't like or buy the latest games on Switch And if I decide to disappear for some months or more, is not because the game becomes more and more boring, but just because I have no desire to play in that moment I really hope that in the future some huge software houses will notice and assume you to make a potentially well known no p2w MMO 🙂 Take your time with Johto, if I sometimes leave a like to people who publish memes and pictures asking for Johto, or also participate to this actively, is not because I disrespect you, but just because I'm anxious to see this game complete 🙂 PokéMMO will be the best Pokémon fan/game in the world, and it could also save the franchise's memory, which is not a little thing in 2023

However, you win tiespeeds against 80 base speed, such as previously non-scarfed gallades(Now they got a ban for no reason), and in a common scenario where both had a Nite on field for N reasons(U-turn that killed opposing mon, your lead fainted itself but this killed the opponent mon too), if you are jolly you attack first and you're going for winning the 1v1. I'm a Nite user and the most hardest task is manage to enter with it. I need to worry about status, hazards, rocky helmet chip, multi-hit attacks, weather because rain kingdra is impossible to a nite pass, and sandstorm broke my multiscale, some mons like conk can kill it even with Multiscale active(On this case with Ice Punch and guts active), i also need to worry about scarfs. If i manage to setup twice i win, but i rarely get able to do so, because once multiscale is broken, one attack and i'm busted. Maximum i do most of the time is lose my nite but take some mon down with it. In resume, Dragonite IMO is not broken for OU, in fact he is broken only for the non-official 1v1 metagaming, that he is banned already. Also, welcome to the game. If you wanna compete in a tournament, world cup start soon, Captain Registration start on following week. Brazil compete on tour but... Last smogon player they bring to the team(aka LpZ IV) gets benched almost all tour and lost the only match that played. You can play for Rest of Latam instead.
