  13. Values over time: So i decided to make a guide where i list vanities and other stuff worth to invest in and their lowest price in gtl at a certain date. Im aware that GTL prices dont always reflect real values, but i guess its a reliable way to see trends and developments over time. This is mainly meant for players who want to start to invest and are unsure which things usually do well. I start with the stuff i own myself mostly since i keep track of those anyways, will add other stuff tho once they are requested. I will update this around every 2 weeks. 2021: 2022: *red or green numbers are always compared to the last time i checked

  14. I understand you're busy, but I'm hoping this will get some attention (alongside the other threads) @Kyu Earlier today it was announced that Lucario will be suspect tested next month - The previous month we had Porygon-Z announced in the tier, which was centralising. Players have adapted to it since, but this is the problem I would like to address. Lucario is even more centralising and a threat than Porygon-Z is/was (I won't go into detail as there's the above thread for that). However the issue I have is that Lucario (alongside Porygon-Z previously) will take into effect when the seasonal crown tournaments begin meaning that players will have to adapt in a very short period of time (whereas once again OU and Doubles will have the tournaments taking place in the same meta). Please all I ask amongst many others in the community - is to please change the dates for the UU and NU tournaments, moving them back a week or moving the tier changes a week later so players can either play in the same meta they've played for the last 3 months or can have enough time to adapt to the new changes.

  15. It is very annoying to have to search among all the combats for a specific person to visualize it, therefore it would be more efficient if a search engine was placed for the user and that he simply has to enter a name to find the fight he wants.

  42. GTL is never the same price as people are willing to actually let something go for. If you see a vanity for 20m and someone won't sell it for 500k less (esp in PURE CASH), they don't actually wanna sell, and you need to move on to the next seller. That said, thanks for the data @Quakkz. A quick glance at the most recent prices indicate maybe we're in a recession. Wonder what that could be from? Nuke time from devs? Nah, couldn't be..

  43. Table of Contents - Recommended Methods - Island Run and NPC Rematches - Payday/Pickup - Farming Items - GTL Flipping - Berry Farming - Other ____________________________________ Alt Running Alt running is a decent way to make cash and acquire a lot of supplies that you could sell or keep. Not only that, but you'll have another island running alt if you choose to alt run in Kanto, along with a sweeper that you used to alt run. I believe Hoenn has more overall profit, but Kanto gives you a new alt account to island runs, so you should pick depending on what you want to do after. Unova is quite a short region, but it packs quite a punch in the story sequences and battles. Sinnoh is the toughest of them all due to the Giratina sequence. I would advise that you not go unprepared for any region or risk losing money on potions and revives. Here is a guide made by @MightyBoxer which explains everything you need to know about alt runs. Ditto Farming Ditto farming can make very good money, but it does require a little luck to pull in big profits, either way, you will always profit. I find it quite fun and GTL provides an easy platform to sell your Dittos with little hassle. Make sure keep those 1x31s Dittos and sell them for 10k-20k each, they add up and gives you a steady income while the breeder dittos bring in the big cash. From someone who has farmed Dittos A LOT, I can tell you this guide has everything you need to know about Ditto farming. Ditto Farming Guide - By Solist Lucky Egg Farming Locations Lucky Egg Go to Fuchsia Safari Park and follow the picture below. Make sure you bring a Pokemon with Surf! Lucky Egg (Small) Anywhere you can encounter a wild Pelipper. You may need surf in most places to encounter a wild Pelipper. Method Lucky Egg Simply start encountering in the area shown above in the Picture. Run from everything unless it's a Chansey. When you encounter a Chansey, the most successful method is feed once and start throwing balls. Do not try the repel trick here, because it does not work. Chansey is a rare encounter and they are hard to catch.. not only that but Lucky Eggs aren't too common either, so good luck getting that Egg. Since Lucky Eggs are now Charm Based items, you can use them to gain +100% more exp for 1 hour. Have fun and good luck. Lucky Egg (Small) You can flee from everything except for Wild Pelipper (make sure you have a pokemon with the Ability Frisk in the lead slot) and use Thief if you detect that it has an item. Once you get the item, then you can flee the battle and pick up your prize, however there is a low chance that the item will be a Lucky Egg (Small). Persistance is key, so keep at it and you will eventually take it from Pelipper. This item is also Charm Based, so you can use them to gain +50% more exp for 30 minutes. Catching and Selling Alpha Breeders PokeMMO has introduced a new type of Pokemon known as an Alpha Pokemon. They are much larger and have a red glow around them when viewing it in the Summary Box. The Alpha Pokemon can drop Exp Candy after you either catch or defeat them. This candy can be sold in the Global Trade Link for a nice profit! However, they are much harder to catch due to them constantly boosting their stats after one or a few failed attempts of catching them. Fortunately, @Tnums has come up with a stategy to catch them. It involves a Spinda with the Ability Contrary (an ability which reverses stat boosts [ie: Swords Dance lowers your Attack Stat by -2 instead of increasing it by +2]) with the moves "Trick," "Skill Swap," and "Encore." It is also important to note that Spinda has to hold the Lagging Tail (this is an item that will always make you move on the 2nd Turn) in order for this strategy to work. Ideally, you would use the move Trick first to force the Alpha Pokemon to move 2nd. Then for the second turn, you would Skill Swap the Alpha Pokemon's Ability with your Contrary Ability. Start throwing Poke Balls to activate the Stat lowering process. Once the Stats are low enough, then use the move Encore and switch into something that can take the Alpha's move (ie: Locking an Alpha Arbok into using Aqua Tail, so you can switch into Breloom to False Swipe it). Feel free to check out @Tnums video for more Alpha Catching Team Recommendations: Catching Magikarp in the Kanto Safari Zone on PokeMMO Usually, you will need to pay $200 PokeYen per Poke Ball (which makes up a total of $19,800 per x99 Stack). However, there is a much cheaper route to catching Breeders! Using an Old Rod in the Kanto Safari Zone. All you will need is $500 PokeYen as an enterence fee and straight off the bat, you will get 30 FREE Safari Balls! Once you catch the Magikarp, then you can be able to sell them on the Global Trade Link since the Water B and Dragon Egg Groups are desired! However, this is not even the best part. If the price of good IVed Magikarp goes too low, then you can start making Budget Competitive Gyaradoses from the cheap Magikarps (this is why I put this concept right next to the Breeding Pokemon to Sell Section)! For more on this amazing concept, then feel free to watch both of @patrouski's Magikarp Videos: Patrouski Explaining the Kanto Safari Zone Method: Patrouski Explaining what to do if Magikarp Breeders are extremely cheap: Breeding Pokemon to Sell Another alternative method of making money is by breeding competitive Pokémon and selling them for a profit, however, some Pokemon are better to breed for this purpose than others. I’ll be going over four of which I feel are good choices for this section. Before any of that, your primary concern is going to be making a profit, you need to make sure that whatever you make, you sell for a profit. Be sure to EV train them and level to 50 to maximize your profits. Here is an OU Guide made by suigin. Breeding requires not only a bunch of Everstones and Braces, but it also requires time. Make sure to factor in how much time it's taken you to breed the Pokemon and estimate if you could have made more profit using another method. Of course, even if you don't make as much money, you may enjoy breeding, so in that case it's a win win either way. First off we have Magikarp, the reasons Magikarp is a good choice for making money are: Magikarp cannot learn any egg moves, this means that you don’t have to spend any time making sure your final comp has certain egg moves. Magikarps can be male or female, this will make it easier to breed than the other Pokémon I will be mentioning later, so this is a good beginner breeder comp. Magikarp are common, so finding them will be no concern. Gyarados commonly run a combination of Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Ice Fang, Power Whip, Earthquake, or Crunch, none of these moves require Battle Point moves so they are easy to teach. Gyarados is very popular in OU, so the demand for this comp is quite high. Gyarados has a diverse move pool which means players may want multiple Gyarados with multiple movesets which makes it more desired. The rest of the Pokémon I will cover will all be Genderless, this means they cannot breed with anything other than a Ditto, as a result of this Competitive Pokémon that are genderless are entirely forgiven for not having perfect IVs and will usually just try to make sure that they have at least 25+ in relevant stats. Secondly we have Beldum, which may arguably be the best comp to breed in this list simply due to how notorious and popular Metagross is in the OU metagame. You don't need 31 speed, but it HEAVILY increases the price. I would try breed Adamant 25+/28+/25+/x/25+/31 to start with. Metagross can use multiple natures, adamant is the most popular, jolly is good if you manage to get 31 speed, there are even natured for mixed attackers but I won't get into that here, I'd rather keep things simple. Beldum, once again cannot learn egg moves, this time due to being Genderless. They are rare encounters in Meteor Falls so it can be tricky to find, but once you find an one with adamant nauture or one with 25+ IVs in one or two stats you are good to go! Genderless Pokemon such as Metagross are very desired and go for an extortionate amount of cash, this is why they're good to breed with. Genderless Breeding is now implemented, so you can breed Beldum with other Beldum and its evolution line, however you can still use the old Ditto method for it, but that is rather expensive. Third we have Staryu, while Starmie may not be as popular in usage as Metagross, it is still very commonly used and has a similar standards to Metagross. Staryu can be found using a super rod in many locations at a fairly uncommon rate, so it’s not too difficult to catch. Starmie can be run with Leftovers, Specs’d, Scarf’d, or even Life Orb and would still be viable. It can run Rapid spin, which can be valuable to have on at least one team, so there is incentives to run it. A common moveset is Surf/Psychic/Recover/Rapid Spin, Surf is a free HM move and the rest are all level up moves so you don't need to waste you cash on any of those(Psychic is learnt by Staryu at level 42, so don't level it until then). Starmie will be happy with either a Timid or Modest nature, you want to get 31 speed on Timid nature ones, Modest ones you can get away with not having 31 speed although it will lower your final sale price. Special attack, try get that at 28+ and HP, Def + Sp Def at 25+. Fourth and finally we have Magnezone, Magnezone breeding is quite easy because you can catch Magnemites and breed them together to make your final breed. Make sure it's ability is Magnet Pull so people can use it as a Skarmory or Scizor trapper. As for Hidden Powers, here is a chart below of all the Hidden Powers: Ice: ODD/ODD/ODD/ODD/ODD/EVEN EVEN/EVEN/EVEN/ODD/ODD/ODD ODD/EVEN/EVEN/ODD/ODD/ODD ODD/EVEN/EVEN/ODD/ODD/ODD Grass: EVEN/ODD/EVEN/EVEN/ODD/ODD ODD/ODD/EVEN/EVEN/ODD/ODD EVEN/EVEN/ODD/EVEN/ODD/ODD ODD/EVEN/ODD/EVEN/ODD/ODD EVEN/ODD/ODD/EVEN/ODD/ODD Fire: EVEN/ODD/EVEN/EVEN/ODD/EVEN ODD/ODD/EVEN/EVEN/ODD/EVEN EVEN/EVEN/ODD/EVEN/ODD/EVEN ODD/EVEN/ODD/EVEN/ODD/EVEN HP / Attack / Defence / Special Attack / Special Defence / Speed HP / Attack / Defence / Special Attack / Special Defence / Speed However, this is an archaic way to breed for Hidden Powers. Today, you can use Gems to help you with this endeavor. You will need 40 of a certain type of Gem to change the Hidden Power to that type. Down below, I will have a chart of all the items you will need to make 10 gems from your bag. You will need 1 Mysterious Gem (which is a Gem that drops from Phenomona Battles in Unova) and 1 Type Boosting Item for that Type. To the right of this chart, will have all the type boost items listed. Normal = Silk Scarf Fire = Charcoal Water = Mystic Water Electric = Magnet Grass = Miracle Seed Ice = NeverMeltIce Fighting = Black Belt Poison = Poison Barb Ground = Soft Sand Flying = Sharp Beak Psychic = TwistedSpoon Bug = Silver Powder Rock = Hard Stone Ghost = Spell Tag Dragon = Dragon Fang Dark = BlackGlasses Steel = Metal Coat A large portion of credits go to @Matoka for making this breeding section. Appreciate your help. Starting Up A Service on PokeMMO Probably one of the underrated ways to make money here on PokeMMO, but there will always be a demand for a Breeder, EV Trainer, or a Leveller. Over the long term, you can start building wealth here on PokeMMO for helping others with their pokemon. For more details on this concept, then please check out the video that I taped!

  44. Table of Contents - Recommended Methods - Island Run and NPC Rematches - Payday/Pickup - Farming Items - GTL Flipping - Berry Farming - Other ____________________________________ Amulet Coin Farming Amulet Coins are a useful resource to farm because this perishable good is often used to buff up the salaries of NPCs and Gym Leaders. You could fetch a good 15k - 22k just by farming this resource. If you can, you should farm at One Island near the Kindle Road (Meowth holds the item). Quagsire is useful here due to its great bulk, but you should lead with a Frisk pokemon to see if the wild pokemon are holding items or not. Everstones Everstones are a good item to farm because they are simple to farm, they are desired by everyone who breeds Pokemon. They have a stable price at around 20k and they sell well. Along the way you'll also find Hard Stones which are much cheaper but they are still desired and will add to your profits. Notes Geodude, Graveler, Roggenrola, and Boldore hold Everstones and Hard Stones. Everstones are not really common, so you may need to lead with a pokemon with the ability Frisk to see if it is holding an item or not. Requirements You should use the Acro Bike to take shortcuts(you can switch bikes at the bike store in Mauville). You should have an Everstone thiefer. The best thiefer is Banette because it has the ability Frisk which allows for it to scout for items to use thief with. It should be noted that since Banette is a Ghost-Type, if Geodude or Graveler use Selfdestruct or Explosion, then Banette is immune to the attack. Your thiefer should be level 100 so you can knock out the pokemon and take the item with it. PP maxing Thief is a good idea if you want to farm a lot. Farming Location Go to Lavaridge Town in Hoenn and follow the picture in the spoiler below. Or you can go to the enterence of Wellsprings Cave in Unova to farm Everstones off of Roggenrola. Wellsprings Cave is west of the Route 3 Daycare, but make sure to bring a low level thief pokemon to prevent an accidental knock out. Life Orb Farming Life Orbs can fetch between 75k - 90k. Notes Only Absol hold Life Orbs so run from everything else. The held rate is unknown, but maybe if we get people giving info we could figure it out. Requirements You will need a thiefer. The best thiefer is Banette because it has the ability Frisk which allows for it to scout for items to use thief with. Your thiefer should be level 100 so you can knock out the pokemon and take the item with it. PP maxing Thief is a good idea if you want to farm a lot. Leppa berries might be worth having if you don't want to run back and forth from the PC(although PP maxed Thief would last quite a while). You should stock up on Super Repels, they are more efficient than the other types of repels because they are cheaper per step. Location & Method In Fortree City, go to Route 120 and go to the location shown below in the picture. Make sure you have your Frisk pokemon in the lead and your level 100 thiefer in your party and start biking side to side. Nothing more to it than that, good luck encountering Absol, run from everything else. You can also go to Route 13 in Unova just north of Undella Town to cycle through the first grass area you see. Leftovers Farming I like to farm Leftovers because they are desired which makes them sell well, and for quite a decent amount at 35k-40k each. Notes Only Snorlax hold Leftovers so run from everything else. The held rate is unknown, but maybe if we get people giving info we could figure it out. Requirements You will need a thiefer. The best thiefer is Banette because it has the ability Frisk which allows for it to scout for items to use thief with. It should be noted that since Banette is a Ghost-Type, so you are immune to Snorlax's STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) attacks. Location & Method In Cerulean City, go to the Cerulean Cave and go to the location shown below in the picture. Make sure you have your Frisk pokemon in the lead and your level 100 thiefer in your party and start biking side to side. Nothing more to it than that, good luck encountering Snorlax, run from everything else. Fossil Farming Fossils are not worth too much, and I'm not sure how desired they are, but along the way you do get other stuff like Everstones and Hard Stones so overall you will be left with a bundle of nice items that will sell for profit. Method The best method for farming these is rock smashing on Island 1 because their are plenty of rocks and there is a fast way to replenish the rocks. Here is a guide for Island 1 Rock Smashing made by Hiraeth. Heart Scale Farming Heart Scales are good to farm because they have a fairly common theft rate which keeps you interested, it's nice a relaxing. They have an alright price and they are desired for comp players. I enjoy farming at Ever Grande, it's much better than being stuck in a cave farming Everstones, although I don't think it has as much profit. The profit used to be very good before the held rate got nerfed, it's still alright though. You also have a chance to obtain Red Shards as well, which is always nice since they are quite expensive. Who wouldn't love a chance to capture a shiny Wailmer or Corsola while farming cash? Requirements You will need a thiefer. The best thiefer is Banette because it has the ability Frisk which allows for it to scout for items to use thief with. Your thiefer should be level 100 so you can knock out the pokemon and take the item with it. PP maxing Thief is a good idea if you want to farm a lot. Method You want to go to Hoenn, and fly to Ever Grande City(bottom), from there just go south and start fishing with your Super Rod. You want to Thief Luvdisc for Heart Scales and Corsola for Red Shards, run from everything else. Shard Farming Shards are desired and will sell decently. They are quite expensive, especially the green ones. Location - Green, Yellow & Blue Shards The best location for Green, Yellow and Blue Shards is Underwater, south of Sootopolis because it's a short distance from a fly location and Relicanth has slightly higher encounter rate here if I recall correctly. Fly to Sootopolis, surf south until you see the dark area where you can dive, dive down and go out the cave and in the grass you will search for Relicanths(for Green Shards), Chinchous(for Yellow Shards) and Clamperls(for Blue Shards). Once again, you should lead with a pokemon with the ability Frisk (also known as your Thief Pokemon) for maximum effectiveness (Banette). Method You will need a thiefer.
