The total encounters are closer to 30k since I did 18k at Trapinch a few months ago and started this counter when I moved here. They don't pick anyone - player test servers (PTS) are always open for everyone to join. Staff make an announcement on forums with a link to download a separate client for the PTS once it's up and running. Its usually only live for a few days, and usually over a weekend. Also any progress made on the PTS gets wiped once the server closes so it's not like first access yields any benefits, we basically just mass bug test the new region

I think it is the first time that at least I see that they give information before the event arrives, it puts it closer to the community that wants to know what happens with the game that they like so much and get excited about things that will come. I wanted to see what the function was, and if it helped me train the pokemon more effectively, however I was surprised that it is a TOTAL SCAM xdd. Its still useful for grinding meowths and teddiursa, munchlax, any LC mon, etc....they can hold everstones while you EV train and power level them. Also with the traded OT giving a 15% exp bonus stacked with the 5% from the charm and then maybe youre hardcore and buy dono as well, thats an additional 30% EXP gained. Not saying that removing the ability to stack with a macho brace is a good thing. I wish it did still ofc, but at least the item still has a niche in some applications

many people will choose chikorita for the patch and it will surely lower its price, in my opinion it is better to choose the one you like the most (obviously totodile <3)

I see what you're getting at here, but explain more what the plan is around it? Why should we need the bank compared to just having it like it is right now, which is (afaik) unlimited. Only reason i can remember the "give money to mom" feature back in the day was for her to send u some random not very usefull items now and then.

Been working on a Meowth and decided to document and run the calcs since at 88 it wasn't killing anything reliably. Thanks to this comment, figured out it's because of AoE. I chose to stick with Choice Specs from 88 to roughly 92, and then switched to Everstone for mindless grinding out the last 8 levels. Appreciate the guide
