  2. -------------------------------------------------------------[EN]------------------------------------------------------------- This post is a complain and a suggetion at the same time, but I want to post it in general discussion to report the current situation to the whole community and the administrators related with the Legendaries (Keldeo, Rayquaza, Mewtwo and Arceus) and some extremely toxic players. Basically, everytime that one of these Legendaries spawns (somebody catchs it) there are a group of people who come to log off with it with the porpouse of release it again into the wild, so nobody can have it: - They don't want to farm BP what is completely fine and everyone have the right to do it. - They don't want to register it or let anyone register it. - They don't want to fight and run to hide somewhere, what is completely fine and Legendaries are meant to be for that and we love to have fun battling in triple battles. What they really want is to disconnect with Legendaries many times untill the Pokemon is released "into the wild" so if somebody wants it, they need to wait 24 hours more or less to catch it again. This group, after releasing it, makes fun of us, alleging that nobody deserves to have it. This have been happening months and months, they used a lot of bugs that you Devs know well, like Hearsthome gym ch0, or spamming the dueling button that was fixed thanks to you. They reported us for "insulting" or "using bugs" everytime we try to keep It from being released and a lot of players are tired of this situation everytime we want to have fun in triples battles or calle people to have It. Basically nobody comes to register or to battle because this players are always waiting in another accounts to release it at the very moment it spawns. It is too easy for them to release it and after they feel pleased, leaving toxic messages or making fun if they manage to release it. They start to insulting us if they lose in a triple battle. They creates accounts to spy our teams and check if we have a hidden Legendary. They even created a private WhatsApp group to perform this. This situation is out of hand and we want the administrators to know It. Is annoying and UNFAIR that 4 or 5 five players are doing what they want and making the Game more toxic and boring for the rest of us. Even if we are good at PVP It doesnt matter, in the next Battle the system make us have less Pokémons so it impossible to defend It from them. So one of our suggetion (IMPORTANT) and please consider it, is to add a cooldown time to the players of 1 hour to challenging again a another player with a Legendary if they disconnect (very similar if you disconnect or let the time run in any PVP Tier), so they can't 'disconnect and grab', 'disconnect and grab' so easily. Este grupo, después de liberarlos, se burla de nosotros, alegando que nadie merece tenerlo. Esto ha estado sucediendo durante meses, usaron muchos errores que ustedes, los desarrolladores, conocen bien, como Hearsthome gym ch0 (Ciudad Corazón), o enviar spam al botón de duelo que se solucionó gracias a ustedes. Nos denunciaron por "insultar" o "usar errores" cada vez que tratamos de evitar que se publique y muchos jugadores están cansados de esta situación cada vez que queremos divertirnos en batallas triples o llamar a la gente para tenerlo. Básicamente, nadie viene a registrar o a pelear porque estos jugadores siempre están esperando en otras cuentas para liberarlos en el momento en el que aparecen. Les resulta demasiado fácil soltarlo y después se sienten complacidos, dejando mensajes tóxicos o burlándose si logran liberarlo. Empiezan a insultarnos si pierden en una batalla triple. Crean cuentas para espiar a nuestros equipos y comprobar si tenemos a algún Legendario oculto. Incluso crearon un grupo privado de WhatsApp para realizar esto. Esta situación está fuera de control y queremos que los administradores lo sepan. Es molesto e INJUSTO que 4 o 5 cinco jugadores estén haciendo lo que quieren y haciendo el Juego más tóxico y aburrido para el resto de nosotros. Aunque seamos buenos en PVP No importa, en el próximo Combate el sistema hace que tengamos menos Pokémons por lo que es imposible defenderlo de ellos. Así que una de nuestras sugerencias (IMPORTANTE) y por favor considéralo, es agregar un tiempo de espera a los jugadores de 1 hora para retar nuevamente a otro jugador con un Legendario si se desconectan (muy similar si desconectas o dejas correr el tiempo en cualquier Nivel PVP), por lo que no pueden 'desconectarse y agarrar', 'desconectarse y agarrar' tan fácilmente.   10. I've been meaning to make a post for a while, but never had any rares or eggs to share, I had a recent goal of reaching 25 OTs by my 1st year anniversary. A lucky streak in the last couple of days, catching 2 Woobats, an Axew and Gible, and I smashed the goal with 16 days to spare. I've never posted anything here yet, so this is my whole collection so far, 16 from 5x hordes, 4 from 3x hordes and 6 single encounters (no secret). 36k Eevee eggs done on the side, but that will come soon! Thanks to everyone at Team Mr for keeping me going the whole year, and to all the people I've met along the way, its a great community and I'm excited to see what the next year brings!

  12. We'd prefer not to implement temporary items or to allow breeding with specific species to be bypassed when obtaining egg moves, sorry. Alpha releases are being spaced out, but the intention is that they'll all exist eventually.

I'm all about creativity, but when it's abusive and intrusive to other players who strive to have the best experience they can with all of the hard work the devs have put into balancing and mechanics over the last 11 years, things like this need to be brought to attention.   16. It seems that your dont understand the point of the video and the legendaries system at all. All all you said is completly fine, funny, and we love to have "pvp wars" with another players of groups of them (sometimes we miss more people to join to the war because nobody is interested in legendaries). The problem is that these players don't want to hide nor have fun in PVP, they just want to log off when they have the legendaries, so nobody can enjoy all of this that you are saying (and I like too). If you dont know, when someone log off with a legendary, it spawns in sprite form in the same spot where the player logged off in all channels and the system message appears in the whole region. If you press A to the sprite form, the legendary will go to the sixth slot of your team automatically and the message will be shown again, this time showing your name as the new owner. The problem is if you do this many times (5 or 7) the legendarie is released into the wild, so you need to wait 24 hours more or less to catch it again from the wild. For this reason the porpouse of these players is to do this process as fast as possible so nobody can have it.

It Is impossible to take adventage of Legendaries, they just give 4k bp each update, then they just can be used to give it for the dex entry to another person, for battling or hide with it, what is totally legitimate. These players just want to release it 5 minutes after its catched so nobody can have it

  19. Whole point of a discussion thread is to discuss so, share why it would be unplayable etc since it has not been tested in the current environment. I dont rly care whether its dropped or not but just would like to see discussion for it. I mentioned some changes in the tier which could allow pz to be dropped back potentially, so if im wrong, just let me know and why. Thats the whole point of the thread 🙂

  22. I was in dire need of a signature and Requi came through for me. Not only was the service timely, it was also cheap and the product was exceptional. Words can not describe how fantastic this service is, but a rating can. 10000/10, phenomenal work for the price. Requi is very tall, handsome, muscular and most importantly a professional in his business. Requi's Design Studio saved not only my life, but my dignity. I no longer akin to a random noob roaming the forums, as this signature and user bar combination puts me above all. I can assert my dominance in both PokeMMO and the forums due to Requi's outstanding dedication to deliver for the customer. The product goes above and beyond, leaving the consumer satisfied.

  23. Most updates of this scale have included game changing mechanics, that being said-- this will be the first region implemented retroactively. I think it would be reasonable to consider some new items will have a higher value initially. For example, something as simple as a rework for growing Apricorns, allowing players to take over the market where useful Pokeballs are concerned. From there, the quick ball, repeat ball, etc., could be removed from PokeMarts. A safe assumption would be the introduction of new hordes, and item farming locations. In my opinion the influences on the economy will be large, but will happen slowly overtime with niche discoveries.

  25. After a 3 month review, Gallade appears to not fit well within the current OU tier and the TC has voted. Gallade has been banned by a majority vote to Ubers. The Tier Council deems that Gallade fits Offensive Uber characteristics and will be removed immediately. We thank u all for discussing this important topic with us, we as TC appreciate every input. The change will take place with the rest of the tiering changes at the end of the season.

  29. Hi there, As you can tell by the title I have recently been working on a UI Redesign Concept for PokeMMO. I have a lot of previous graphic design experience, and one of the fields I enjoy working on the most is GUI design. I really enjoy PokeMMO, however at times I feel that the UI can be frustrating to navigate, and although the current UI does fit with the game pretty well. I feel like it could be a lot more modernized, clean and generally more optimized for ease of access and better appearance, which is what I have attempted to do here. I first thought about making a theme, however after looking into it and reading some forum posts I realized that it would restrict a lot of what I was hoping to change, so I decided to make a full-blown concept instead for a new more engaging and pleasing UI. I would like to clarify that this is NOT a theme/mod It is only a concept and at the moment there is no way to FULLY implement this into the game. I am considering making a theme or possibly a mod that allows for the complete changes and additions I have made to be included properly, however that would take some time and research so I decided to get some feedback from the community first. Below are some of the screenshots of the concept UI as well as comparisons (mine on the left) with the current UI being used in the game. (I am in no way criticizing the current UI) however I do believe some things could be changed and optimized for a more user-friendly clean experience. The current UI does an amazing job at sticking with the classic retro Pokémon look, but in my opinion PokeMMO is growing into a more vast and complex game that incorporates the classic feeling of the original Pokémon games and also that of an amazing MMO and believe the UI should also branch towards that. Feel free to look through the screenshots, the UI is not fully completed and a lot of things are still in the works, (such as a Login Screen, Store Menu, Breeding Menu and more.) This is what I have completed so far; Pokémon Summary Character Inventory / Bag Hotbar / Toolbars Global Trade Link Trainer Card PC Deposit Box Party Bar Chat Box Minimap (New) Top Left Display Battle Screen I would appreciate any feedback/suggestions or general opinions from the community and let me know what you would like to see for future concepts! My suggestion is, if possible, to add timers/indicators that indicate how many turns there are of field effects (such as weather, trick room, tailwind) and screens (Light Screen/Reflect) in PvP battles. It would be a nice QoL feature that would help players in PvP games - similar to what exists in Pokemon Showdown! (Apologies if this has previously been requested and I didn't find the suggestion) Thank you!!

  34. Regen core is a good core, And it has a lot of flexibility to build a stall or balance team, so many players choose to play it in tours Jan. The watching experience was extremly poor if mirror match occur. You can still find thousands of ways to beat them, Gallade was easiest way.

    Random Battles Tournaments

    Randoms has been excluded from tournaments due to the lack of preparation required to play it. We were concerned that giving it the same treatment as other tiers would result in it being favored too heavily as a main tier by too many players when it's intended mostly as a for fun mode and as a starting point for PvP newcomers. Keeping tournaments exclusive to normal tiers is a bit more incentive to try them over sticking to randoms forever, so it's unlikely that this will change.

It will probably have a huge impact for a couple of days, since many players are gonna rush through the region, that means less "classic" farming : berries, gym and trainers reruns, payday-pick up, thief, farming IV 31, and even shiny hunting. So obviously some prices are gonna go up. On the other side the price of patches for HA of starters will drop considerably, and so far it's hard to say if the price of patches will ever recover from this, so if you have some you should sell before the release IMHO, the price of Johto starters is without a doubt the one that will drop for ever, like Totodile will go from 30k to 3k in a couple of days. So the Johto starters prices are the ones that will drop the most and you should also sell them before the release. Less important, the price of Skarmory will drop if it has a new location, also Miltank. And finally the new hordes spots will take the price of some shinies really low, since nothing is sure about it, we can't predict which ones are gonna decrease. Another factor that is hard to predict is the amount of players coming back into the game, which may raise some prices and also lower other ones.

  39. hello! i'd like to make a suggestion about changing volcarona's moveset and why i do think it's necessary for the health of the tier. i felt motivated to post this here since i was talking with some friends on discord about the last tier shifts and we pretty much agreed that volc is currently a big issue in the tier why volcarona is a problem since its inception volcarona has been one of the most fearsome pokemon to play against in bw, because even with its monstruous stats it has access to quiver dance, a move incredibly safe to click because unlike dragon dance it gives volcarona defensive capabilities and not only offensive ones. this is incredibly huge for volcarona as it lets it set up in front of pokemon that could beat volcarona otherwise, like special bulky waters or chandelure; in conjunction with roost. not only that, but with its coverage volcarona can effectively beat any pokemon it wants given that it has the proper set, which is exacerbated by the presence of gems in the tier. defensive water types can lose if it has giga drain, defensive poison or fighting types can lose if it has psychic, defensive dragon types can lose if it has hp ice, etc. even blanket defensive walls like chansey can become set up fodder with safeguard/qd/roost/fire move or rest/qd/2 attacks, altho these are less common sets and usually volc gets around chansey with the help of pursuit users + hazards. in fact, volcarona alone was one of the main reasons why gems got banned in bw smogon. however here the situation is worse than in smogon bw ou. what the absence of heatran is doing to the metagame without heatran in the game volcarona has lost its most reliable answer. heatran provided a lot of team flexibility, fitting both in offense and more defensive oriented teams, providing a lot of utility while also having the ability to dish out offense and check important threats in the game, the most notable one being volcarona. the absence of heatran makes it so that if you want a reliable volcarona answer now you either have to play rain, or run multiple answers for it, which feels really overwhelming both when building and playing considering the extremely offensive teams volcarona fits in. this leads to an extremely offensive-oriented metagame where your best bet is to out-offense your opponent before their offense takes off different moveset changes suggestions that would help volcarona feel better option 1: remove quiver dance from its moveset obviously, this would be the most severe change. without moves that lets it boost its speed volcarona would be easily revenge killed by things like garchomp and starmie, and without the power boost it wouldnt be able to muscle through defensive answers so easily anymore. ttar would also be a much more reliable answer option 2: remove recovery moves like roost and rest from its moveset this i think would be the most balanced change. removing its ability to capitalize on the defensive boosts and make it a lot more vulnerable to chip damage would be a reasonable way to let volcarona keep its identity while making its presence a lot more managable for both offensive and defensive teams. option 3: remove hidden power from its moveset altho i do think that this wouldn't help fix some of the issues volc has, it would certainly make it a lot easier to play around volcarona. things like dragonite, garchomp and gyarados would become much safer answers against it. the metagame would probably stay more or less the same with this change but facing volcarona would be much more managable. i hope i was able to express as good as possible the problems with this pokemon in the tier, if TC disagrees or has any other suggestion, then i'd love to know

    Well, to the joy of some and the anger of others, Shaymin just moved to UUBL with the offensive uber characteristics, I was thinking of making a post explaining this in more detail, but I think I clarified a lot of things when I made the suspect post. Reason for discussion Hi, as you all know, Shaymin the first legendary added to our metagame dropped to UnderUsed a few months ago. While it wasn't discussed at the time because he needed a bit of sample time to see how he fit in, we think it's time to discuss his stay in the tier. Shaymin is a Pokémon that has very high and decent statistics due to its singular characteristic, with an above-average speed, also having great bulk despite being generally used as a sweeper, although the special attack is somewhat poor compared to others things, it is when the movement that we should talk about enters and that is probably a reason for discussion.
