Team Porygon [PORY] Shiny War Event Info: The event will have a sign-up phase in which you contribute a minimum of 750k via mail to PoryBank. Members who miss the signup cutoff will be subject to a late penalty of 250k (meaning total contribution if late will be 1m). All sign up fees and late penalties will be added to the prize pool. Upon sign up you will be randomly drafted to one of the 3 teams. Teams will be balanced based on staffs best judgement. Teams will be announced the day before the event. Event Details/Rules: Team [Pory] Shiny Wars *Members Only* - Must be registered to participate - Sign-up contribution is a minimum of 750k via mail to PoryBank - If joining after the signup has ended you must pay a 250k penalty fee, and will be placed into a team based on balancing - Prize Pool will be split evenly to the winning team - All shinies must be OT and confirmed by Team Porygon [Pory] Staff before points are received - Any hatched shiny MUST be a new OT and bred from non-shiny Pokémon - Shinies must be successfully caught to receive points - Team with the most points at the end of the event takes all - Prolonged inactivity after a certain amount of time or lack of event engagement could potentially result in a forfeit of your prize.- - We ask that you keep all shinies submitted unchanged for the duration of the war. This is so staff can confirm submissions. Feel free to EV/level Pokemon however please know that if you evolve or rebreed your shiny before the final results of the war are posted staff will not be able to verify your submission and as such, the submission would be invalidated. I can't give a precise ETA at this stage, but it will take some time as we're working on improving and expanding the feature. The version previewed didn't include several intended balancing and QoL/polish changes, and was limited to some of the simpler custom effects we're planning to include. The event gave us a better idea of how players approach them and how we can improve the overall experience too. There's still a fair bit to do to get them feeling as good as we'd like them to and to create a greater variety of boss strategies to build around. We're aiming to launch them in a state we're proud of, and hoping it will be worth the wait.

I’m really hoping the wishing stone turns out to be worth it considering we have now been waiting months for it become useful. Also I wish the devs would be clear about when it will at least be useful since everyone suspected it would do something during the lunar new year event.

I mean, at their current state, they're already absolutely amazing. Had so much fun doing them with friends as soon as the new ones were getting released, having banter in link chat, insulting the AI just for it to obliterate us the next turn, etc. Can't wait to see what you guys are gonna do with them next but the overall experience was no doubt the best part of the entire event for me

That NPC could consume our legendary for: -Rainbow Quills -Elemental Orbs -Nature Herbs -Legendary lures -Battle points? Opinions?

I love my legendaries too But soon Articunos despite their legendary status are going to be worth 15k, it's gonna really suck to hunt a mon with a super low encounter and catch rate to find out that it's basically worthless, so I think such a sink would motivate players to hunt for shit they otherwise would not care about

I agree with Doctor, if it does anything then I hope that it's something that can be gotten once every year during Xmas. One-time rewards are great for cosmetics and lower shiny odds like Mysterious Pokéballs, but if the Wishing Stone does summon Jirachi, it would be extremely unfair to new players or players who missed the event to have a one-time Pokémon, especially one that could be so competatively relevant. If it does summon Jirachi, I hope it can be obtained like Shaymin during LNY, and that older players with the Wishing Stone can automatically select their IVs and nature when they catch their (two) Jirachis, while newer players can grind like normal. Two legendaries with selectable IVs for all the time spent waiting...

Here are some "sink" ideas that I believe will help increase the value without having to increase the difficulty of encountering: Turn in 3 Dogs/Birds (Your OT) for an exclusive tradable/untradable vanity. Turn in legendaries for and item that gives you access to legendary hidden ability. I feel as if turning them in for an item that is already obtainable in the game with other means would not help increase their value.

Added this rule: Tickets have to be bought with in-game money. Gifting tickets, or exchanging them for pokemon or assets is not acceptable.
