We consider suitability for OU to be a good indicator of whether a species is suitable for the game at all. If a legendary is too overwhelming for the tier containing the best regular mons, that legendary is also extremely likely to outcompete them in PvE. In a game which heavily emphasizes team customization, balance between options is important to allow players to effectively utilize a variety of them. When uber legendaries are almost always the best in their roles or good enough generalists to compensate for a lack of specialization, there is little reason to use anything else once you've got them. We're willing to make some minor concessions for doubles when a single move is the issue with an otherwise reasonable OU mon (and that move doesn't break it in PvE), but introducing something new that is immediately and forever banished from standard OU play is a balancing failure which indicates that it shouldn't have been implemented. Many uber legendaries would be banworthy in the current doubles format too. I'm not a fan of arbitrary restrictions on where and how you can use something that otherwise behaves like everything else you own, it isn't good game design. If we ever make uber legendaries available, it will likely be temporary ownership rather than allowing them to be permanently kept. We'd prefer to avoid base stat modification as their battle performance is a large part of their identity. It's also confusing when they don't live up to a player's expectations when using or facing them. Yeah like Eggplant said, the staff member that reviewed the ban is different from the one who administered it and after reviewing the evidence, deemed that the ban was appropriate and would not be lifted. If your ban appeal has been denied then there’s nothing else that can be done. Bothering staff members won’t change that outcome and they gain nothing from showing you what or how you got caught breaking the rules

they typically don't reveal much info cause they don't want you to learn how you got caught, and then adapt, overcome, etc.

It gets everything wrong because it’s not a fair and logical argument, she’s arguing in bad faith. She’s not really worried about the "state of the game’s economy", she’s worried about her personal investments. That whole story is made up to make it seem less like a selfish request. She is suggesting the removal of an existing feature to make it harder for everyone and especially newer players to grind money because according to her, those players should only limit themselves to grind long and tedious gym leaders to earn a dime while she can watch her investment go up by doing absolutely nothing like she thinks she deserves. Alphas and/or exp candies causing vanities to drop in price is an extremely big stretch and is the least of our worries in regards to the game economy. A couple of years ago Frisk/Thief told you which specific Pokemon in the horde held an item, but you wouldn't be able to steal the item if you fainted the holder. Now you will steal the item even if you faint the holder, but the trade off being Frisk will not tell you which specific opponent in the horde holds the item, just at least one is holding one. Gothita can also have Competitive as an ability, not all in the wild can Frisk I hope this helps

The most important thing when being banned is that you have to represent yourself / explain yourself even though you are not presented with evidence. Staff just don't ban people without efficient proof. They always go the extra mile to make sure that the ban is justified. I'll give you some advice, your best chance in a scenario like this is to be as honest and clear as you can be. You will most definitely know why you received the ban. It's up to you to explain to them what occurred and give a broad explanation. Trust me.. being sincere and respectful towards them goes a long way. They are also human after all. Anyways good luck to you mate. Ask them if you can start another account and then you can play again if they give the green flag.

The Vaporeon and Forretress, they gave me an idea how to make this farm but i investigate and calculate the better way to use Swarm or Illuminate and add Lure too. I hope this farm helps you, if you find any benefits or questions, please let me know. Pros The ability Swarm / Illuminate and lure Increases the chance of encounters by 20%, which makes the Ditto encounter faster. With lure there is a chance of double encounters and these can have Ditto. For example, If the encounter had been a miltank you would escape, but since it is a double another Ditto may appear accompanying it, which increases its appearance. When there is a double encounter, farming is not ruined if 2 identical pokes are used, the Ditto transforms into any of the 2 and can be captured equally. (U-turn can kill the other wild poke in the same way) There is a chance of a chansey appearing, which may have an oval stone (3k) and a lucky egg (50k+). If you are just farming Ditto while searching for legendaries, it is faster due to the speed of the encounters. If you find a Shiny, you have other hunters on the team, such as Semeargle or Breloom, which will make it possible to capture it without fear. You have 3 options to choose from to breed, with different iv's and natures to find different breeders in the GTL. (Beedrill, Volbeat and Ledian) CONS The capture ratio is 98% Normally, 1 ditto can escape on average for 1 box. There is very little chance that U-turn will deal critical damage, but there is a chance. It's ultra rare, but the ditto can wake up after 1 turn and hit or kill you depending on which hunter you have. The next Pokes are especific for a lvl. 37 Dittos with Lure in Johto, calculated not to kill the worst of the Dittos (Iv 0). If you dont use Lure the wild ditto between lvl. 33 - lvl. 35, U-turn may kill this dittos, please don't forget to use Lure. I would imagine that the mod that bans you is not the same mod that reviews your ban appeal and closes it. Otherwise, what's the point of having a ban appeal section? So basically, a completely different mod read your ban appeal, went to look at the evidence they probably have in storage somewhere, went "oh yeah lmao he's def guilty" and closed it. And if multiple people agree that, without question, you're definitely RMT'ing... then you probably were. gg go next, as they say.

As we've seen the release of legendary pokemon such as Zapdos, Suicune and Shaymin, the Doubles metagame has quickly developed into a much more interesting format than the bland and boring metagame that it was before. In this thread I'd like to discuss other potentially interesting legendary Pokemon which would be interesting additions to the format, without making it too unbalanced. I hope this can provide the developers with some insights into nurturing a balanced and interesting metagame. Please provide feedback and criticism in the comments! Roaming Legendary Trios The addition of the legendary birds (Zapdos, Articuno & Moltres) and beasts (Suicune, Raikou & Entei) suggest that more roaming legendaries might be introduced in future! So how would each legendary roaming trio affect the metagame? The Lake Trio Probably the safest legendaries to add next, Azelf in particular would be an interesting lead with stealth rock+explosion. Uxie would also make quite a valuable trick room setter. Mesprit is the weakest of the three, and can be easily dealt with by common doubles threats. The Regi Trio Along with the Lake Trio, the 3 Regis would be great additions to doubles. Registeel would be a particularly interesting steel type addition. Assault Vest Regirock might also be an interesting choice, with its 80/200/100 base defenses. The Justice Trio Terrakion is probably a bit too powerful to add right now. Virizion and Coballion are up for debate, and would definitely make for potential additions in the future. However, Beat Up+Justified combos would be a pain to deal with, forcing players to use strategies such as a follow me user in order to deal with it. A powerful trio with a lot of potential in the future... Legendary Rankings (Not Including Title Legendaries) Ban-Worthy S Tier A bit too powerful right now, these would change the metagame, but would make interesting additions in the future! A+ Tier These legendary pokemon are on the borderline, they're a bit too powerful right now, but not quite as powerful as S Tier A Tier These would cause a power-creep in the metagame, but can be handled by existing Pokemon B Tier Suitable to add, with a small impact on the metagame C Tier Weak and useless What do you think?

Thanks bro. I will be taking most probably the biggest L ever because I will spend everything on egging Alpha Starters after completing my 2012 collection. I did calcs and I'd say I have a pretty decent chance at egging all 3 of them if RNG does not mess with me.

The issue with implementing the strongest legendaries in a permanent form is the impact they'll have on PvE, not PvP. We can ban overpowered species from competitive play, but can't (reasonably) ban them from the rest of the game after making them available for capture.

The legendaries we'll be allowing players to permanently obtain are the ones that are balanced enough for standard OU PvP. We don't intend to ever make "uber" legendaries obtainable in an unrestricted form as they would entirely warp the game around themselves. If content difficulty is balanced under the assumption that players are all using titans like Kyogre, it becomes too difficult for players who don't have access to them. If it's not balanced around them, it becomes too easy for players who do have them. Both outcomes force their usage on the vast majority of teams in order to play hard fights optimally. The possibility of an ubers tier isn't worth the damage their permanent availability would cause to the rest of the game, although we might consider temporary ownership of them sometime in the future. Speed Boost Blaziken may be on the table at some point with its ability banned in singles PvP due to the exceptions made for Draco Meteor Hydreigon and Swords Dance Garchomp to allow them in PvE and doubles. This isn't a guarantee though, it would only come after after extensive testing has been done to ensure that it doesn't affect PvE balancing in an undesirable way.

I don't think I have ever seen an economy-related suggestion getting everything this wrong in forums before. First of all, you don't deserve getting your investments getting raised in value. Like every economic investment, it's a gamble. Based on the fact that some people have made profit with this strategy, doesn't mean you are entitled to get rewarded just for buying a vanity and holding on for it a long time. The reason why vanities even have raised in value before is that (some) people have had more money than they have known where to use it for. The hint is on the name, it's a vanity item. You don't need it for anything. However, because people had more money than uses for the money, they started using that money for vanities. Because there were more and more players with too much money, people were able to ask high prices for old limited vanities. The fact that even old limited vanities have lost a bit of value recently means that people actually are using Pokeyen for game-related things. From MMO economy point of view, that's a great thing. You don't want an over-inflated game because then everyone has money and the money is basically useless. You were able to see this effect a lot in GTL. Sometimes the cost of buying a ready competitive Pokemon was cheaper than making one for yourself. Breeding braces was one of the main money sinks in the game and people clearly rather than wanting to buy comps were trying to get rid of them by sometimes selling them at a net loss. Yes, part of it can also be that the bubble has burst. Everyone was investing into vanities with the expectation it "has to increase in value". Well guess what, if everyone invests with this mindset, the opposite will happen. Yeah, a lot of my vanity investment have lost in value. Almost all of them recently. I'm not gonna cry about it. I can at least appreciate people have clearly some better things to do with their money now.

Hi there, The suggestion is simple. I think it makes sense to take 5 PP's per horde. My suggestion is to make it take PP's per Pokemon encounter. So if it's a single Pokemon, just take 1 PP, if it's 2 Pokemons, take 2 PP and so on. This would make single encounter slightly faster, and could even make people "waste" leppas on single encounters because it makes it faster. Also would improve 3 times hordes to make slightly better than they are now. Would it affect the market of leppas, I think it wouldn't make a significant change for better or worse, but would make all different kinds of hunts more balanced. I don't think it's a big change, but would be a decent change
