Shiny Beldum After 15014 Eggs ! I was doing a mixed egg hunt this time (5 boxes Charmander, 5 Squirtle and 2 Beldum!) 360 a day. I got VERY lucky , my last hunt was a 160k total encounters.(2nd egg hunt completed) Got scared when the hatching animation apperead ! Very nice addition ^^

If you really do have no clue then perhaps the best course of action is to refrain from making a post in the first place. Their criticisms is also fair and well-thought-out, although harsh in some cases. You may disagree with them which is fine, but don’t go around and pretend everything that has been said was done in bad faith. If you didn’t bother to go through everything they said and/or try to understand then that’s on you and ignoring that on purpose makes you come off as dishonest and hypocritical. I’m pretty sure their biggest concern is more about preserving their legacy rather than the actual reward itself

I am honestly not against the idea of winrate being an important factor, but I absolutely despise how it has been used for years when it is convenient, and outright ignored when it is not. Not too long ago, P-z was banned because it shared higher than acceptable usage and winrates (Amongst other things). I don't disagree with the argument, but turns out shaymin has consistently seen better usage and winrates (And arguable the most insane numbers we had ever seen recently), and no one bats an eye. Rotom-wash had maintained better statistics than Gallade in a tier where it was arguably broken (Before Amoonguss had access to regen), however, those were deemed irrelevant for some reason. For the past few months Amoonguss had insane winrates coupled with abover average usages, both better than Gallade's, but it was fine. So, is Gallade broken? I don't know. But if we want to use winrate as a factor, then we should consistently use it as a factor, regardless of a pokemon, and regardless of how convenient it is. If we do that, then lots of other things are higher in that priority bracket that Gallade is. There are lots of ways to argue how problematic Gallade is, but winrate is not one of them, unless of course we also use it for everything else. And besides, Rotom has almost twice the usage of Gallade right now. Due to the way our winrate is displayed, skewed by mirror matches, the difference between both's winrates isn't that significant to properly claim Gallade has a true better winrate than Rotom.

I'm blown away by the animosity & the level of entitlement in this thread Personally I'm super happy about the state of PvP, the meta is way more interesting than on Smogon, many people just play sub optimal teams they like. Gallade is definitely not broken. I can't believe we are talking about banning Gallade when you have way more toxic sets like Rotom-Wash, Gliscor, Garchomp, where you cannot know what set they are playing & you can lose when guessing wrong. Like is it trick Rotom Wash or not, you can lose a mon on the trick, Garchomp can setup rocks, hit hard spe or phys or even hone claw, is Gliscor gonna sword dance or not, is it spe def or phys def or offensive. These sets have been around for so long, the Rotom core is still way more popular than Gallade. Rotom can easily end up doing trick + will o wisp & that's a 2 for one, plus volt switching around. Gallade is predictable & risky. I personally don't like Gallade in its design so it being banned is not what concerns me, it's this kind of mob mentality responding with the dismissive smileys all around, and overall being super whiny. Saying the PvP isn't addressed properly by the devs is just factually wrong given all the stats & the ladder experience. Again AFC Adinho is de facto the one person documenting the state of the game the most, and we recently saw Solar Power Charizard & Poliwrath at the top of the ladder. How are you gonna say it's not a good state for PvP

You answered yourself. Like you said, rotom, chomp, etc they can do everything, while gallade having none of those qualities and being predectible as you said has higher winrate that all the mons you named. Also, 1% charizard usage doesn't mean anything.

Correct, From the bag, press use on the mysterious gems and then you will need a +20% boosting item for that type. For example 4x mysterious gems and 4x miracle seeds will give you 40 grass gems. You then need to press "use" on the green gems from your backpack, while the respective pokemon you wish to change the hidden power on is in your party. Much like selecting a TM, a menu will pop up and then your party will appear. Select the pokemon that needs changing and youre done. The hidden power will now be the type of gem you used. Nevermelt ice = ice gems Blackglasses = dark gems Sharp beak = flying gems Etc..etc..

I agree with that, I never said it's the only thing we should look at to ban something, it is just one of many factors to take into consideration when suspecting a mon, also another good factor is playing against the potential broken thing to see if its broken, in which I also agree with you when you say that you don't know since I do play alot ou and you don't.

Hello! I saw this mod, I loved it, went to download and... download was broken and it only shown 4 DMG types. So I decided to make my own! Firstly, This is a modified version of the X/Y Battle Spirits made by: GigoloimCabrio & Facus26 so I've HIGHLY recommend using that mod WITH this! This is an add-on for it. Every single Pokemon has the DMG Icons, a normal black border means that type of move will do 2x DMG and a type with a red border will do 4x DMG! Hey there, So my Team and I would love to see a new added EU Server, with a low and stable Ping. Low ping in any online game can give other people, who live nearby the current server location, a huge advantage. (for example: gtl sniping, egg making, etc.) I feel like in the Year 2023 a low ping should be considert normal and is the industry standard for most online games. thanks

With the recent changes to the Macho Brace + Exp. Reamplifier synergy, I would like to suggest a rework of the Exp. Reamplifier if possible. Instead of splitting the exp. 50% for leading pokemon and 50% split again over the benched ones, could you make it so every pokemon gets equal amounts of exp.. 4 pokemon, every pokemon gets 1/4th. 3 pokemon, every pokemon gets 1/3rd. Hey, it's another one of these again. No, please don't run away yet. As the title implies, this post is to initiate discussion about the current event system in PokeMMO. My concern (that I've been feeling for a good while) has been that the events in PokeMMO have been far too identical to each other to really be interesting anymore. Another tournament, just with a different shiny prize. Another catch event, just some different specie to catch. Another Scavenger Hunt but apparently we haven't been catching Flying-types yet. People who have been around for a while know that this hasn't been always the case. PokeMMO used to have a plethora what we used to call "gimmick tournaments" with custom rulesets, some of which were great and some that... could have used some more thought. But in both cases, I've come to realize those kinds of events were the ones to keep the game interesting. It utilized this game's uniqueness - the MMO aspect. Having nothing but automated tournaments doesn't really set this game noticeably apart from, let's say "Smogon tournaments". Rather than spectating the games with just username, you have a customizable avatar to watch games with. That's how it feels, really. What I'm suggesting you could do is to revive what we used to call "gimmick tournaments" at least in some form and host these events somewhere in the overworld, in an actual location in the game. If you need ideas, I mean there were all kinds of attempts (STAB-tournaments, monotype-tournaments, trivia-PvP combinations etc) so there were plenty of things that were fun that could be revived. And I wouldn't even care if you tried something completely new, even if it is something silly, just to try out if a concept works. Even unsuccessful attempts of something "weird" would keep this game more interesting. It is clear this shift happened largely due to automated battle system. There is no doubt the successful implementation of both automated tournament system as well as matchmaking improved the quality of this game by a lot. But it also slightly killed the soul of the old PokeMMO, which is what I've come to realize initially kept me in this game to begin with. If this soul could be demonstrated also to new players, I think it could improve the player experience by a lot. I've participated in this kind of discussion briefly in some unofficial conversation channels and a common concern against these kinds of non-automated events is that people don't really read PokeMMO Forums, so automated tournaments are the only way to get a reasonable amount of participation in today's PokeMMO. But I think a way to avoid this is to implement a functional event calendar inside PokeMMO client that lists all the upcoming events of PokeMMO (not just PvP-events) and it directs to a forum post that explains the full ruleset to players and directs them to signup. This way players do not have to active forum readers to take part of these events and they can get the information of events already from in-game client. I do also recognize having custom rulesets have become less implementable because the average playerbase of PokeMMO doesn't speak just English anymore. But these events could be hosted to all kinds of language groups in the game. Even just a couple of custom ruleset tournaments per month would keep this game far more interesting than it is now, in my opinion. Also, I am aware this requires effort from staff members to happen. In order to have these events, there would be staff members to have willingness and time to host all of this and I recognize it isn't small work. But just come up with any event idea you as staff members consider fun and different and I'm sure it will be well received by the playerbase because as I said, I think we really need something new and different to this game.
