Hello everyone, I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed in the past, but in my opinion, I think it would greatly improve the PvP experience in the game. Some might disagree from the perspective that this would make our PvP similar to showdown. My response to that is scrolling through hundreds of players spectating the game and leaving while trying to count Roosts, for example, or any move in a long stall game, can be extremely annoying and misleading. This is sometimes due to the confusion of everything being written in the Battle Tab in yellow and orange. I'm not sure if the devs can add this as a feature in the future or if it has to be a tool made by a knowledgeable community member, but either way, whoever does it is much appreciated. Thank you.

As I often write about in threads like this, the early days of PokeMMO were some of the best. I can still remember the hours spent sitting alongside the beach at Cinnabar Island with LYLE (#1) trying to catch the perfect Shellder or Staryu to take the competitive scene by storm, or watching uMadBrah lose to a speed-tie and raging for hours, or sitting at the Game Corner trying to get enough coin to buy the elemental TM's... I can still recall the scams going down as players frantically tried to calculate IV's, or hearing about the legendary Shiny Chansey that would never be traded, or wandering into a random noob who would trade you a rare shiny for their favorite pokemon... I can remember the hours (and days and weeks and months) spent riding up and down Cycling Road waiting on eggs to hatch, or realizing the Lucky Eggs you horded were no longer of value, or finding one of your OT's in trade chat after you traded the sad pokemon for a few pennies to keep the addiction alive. I can remember the good old days. The days when tournaments weren't automated, when players had respect for one another (and didn't), and when glory was all we wanted. I can remember the battles between DrewIII and JSTUD, Frags and KingBowser, Walpayer and NikhilR, all of Aura and myself... I can remember TheBloo when he was a fucking CHAD and I can remember the best sigmaker ever (sorry Platoons, we all know it's eggroll) and I can remember the many, many, many banks I had (thank you players of LYLE who had a single purpose of funding my addiction). I can remember that first tournament win, and my last... I can remember the adrenaline rush of all those team tournaments we claimed ours... and that time we were dead and almost won the cup of the year. I can remember the bros and the boys, I can remember...

After almost 11 years in this game I have a ridiculous amount of good memories. Winning tons of tournaments while in Aura, nerding with @YettoDie day and night... From newer memories, I would surely highlight the thing I desired for stupidly long time- PSL win. If not for a great manager and an amazing team consisting of some of the nicest, friendliest and at the same time some of the best competitive players in the game, this wouldn't be possible. Another thing I will surely remember for a looong time, is when I beat Kanto storyline with 6 random Pidgeys. It feels like a really cool achievment, considering that PokeMMO is a bit more difficult storyline-wise than vanilla games. From the past, I will never forget playing in a tag tour with @NikhilR. We were really on the very top of the game back then, won the tour and I treasure those memories despite the fact that it happened over 8 years ago. Overall I have so many nice memories, it's tough to list them all... 😞

If you think it should be banned you should bring some arguments to the table, as it stands nobody has mentioned anything by it. He is right in that generalized statements contribute nothing. My favorite memory was when I was breeding for 5 long months in search of a shiny absol and when I decided to get into the kanto zafari to get breeders, the first step I took in the grass I got a shiny aipom that later ended up escaping psdt: worst day ever :c

My favourite memory on PokeMMO was when I first laid eyes on @BerserkVagabond in all his glory. It was a magical encounter that I will forever cherish. IGN: SirJuanks

One particular memory i have is from 2014 when i was a kid, a person called redever was helping me out with my storyline and gifting me mons (gyarados and ampharos i believe i still have them). It was really appreciated by me since mmo was my first pokemon game, and my English was probably not the best either. People helping out noobs back then always makes me motivated to donate the mons i dont need in my pc to random players in the beginning towns instead of releasing them 🙂

Hi everyone im Onraider. In the two years i have been part of this community, i have met many different and great people and shared many cool experiences with them. A lot of great memories from those various interactions, and i have really enjoyed my time here. So to enter this giveaway, i would like anyone interested to make a small post describing their favourite Pokemmo memory. Hopefully we get to read some wonderful stories from you guys. I would like to giveaway the last shiny i caught in this game as a small prize for this. Anyone can participate and there's no limit to the number of people that can enter. Be mindful that alts are not allowed and you will be disqualified if caught entering with one! To start this, my favourite Pokemmo memory is winning Team of the Year 2022 with my former team Optic. We went through a lot of highs and lows in that year, and it was great to see how all our hard work paid off at the end. I would like to thank @Parke for helping me to organize this and for holding on to the shiny as well, and to all the wonderful people ive met over the years in this game. Cold Colors BY CRUELDAD This is a manga/art practice inspired by my journey as a pokemmo player I don't really know what path this will take so first of all I will try to tell fun stories or anecdotes and personal growth. Starting from the last post / drawing, a new one is uploaded every 3/4 days ( This light novel will tell about my journey as a player, I do not intend to offend anyone and much less tell about bad moments with the people I met on this journey, I just want to have fun practicing my art )

We currently have many types of pokemon gifts, including: 1- Starters 2- Pokemon given by NPCs 3- Pokemons Traded with NPCs 4- PvP tournament prizes 5- Capture event prizes 6- PvP reward The main difference between gift pokemon and normal ones is that they are non-tradeable and cannot be bred. From this we know that there is no way to change the IV and nature of these pokemon. With the release of new pokemon such as Shaymin and the Legendary Beasts, items were added that change IV and nature (herb of nature, gracidea, rainbow quill), My suggestion is that an item that changes the IV of Gift pokemons be added and that the nature herb works on them too. In the original games we have an item that already plays a role similar to this, they are the Bottle Cap. For copyright reasons (as the name of the Assault Vest item was changed to Assault Gear) I made these sprites using the bottle cap and vitamin (item that boosts ev and pp) as inspiration: IV UP / IV MAX So that these items are not so unbalanced, IV UP would increase or decrease one of the IVs by one point, IV MAX would let the user choose a value between 0-31 of an IV. These items could be obtained as pvp rewards, purchased from NPCs for a fair price or as prizes from Events or Tournaments. With the addition of these items to various pokemons for pvp rewards or catch events, even the starters will have more viability and be used more. Many Tournaments and Events give out shiny Pokemon as prizes, making them more viable will be a good choice.

I've started back in 2012, if I recall you even had to ask the devs to play the game and they would provide you some sort of thing (don't really recall the method). But back in those days it was the 1st year I went to college. And I knew absolutely no one there, and we bonded playing Pokemmo. I must say we don't speak that often anymore, but those day were good. We all had our laptops in classes and where try harding to see which of use would defeat the Poke League 1st. We even got kicked out of an Algebra class because we were too excited and laughing because one of us got the worst rng possible in one fight (frozen, confusion and missing 90% chance attacks). Those were some good old days.

My favorite memory, while a newer player to PokeMMO, has been the first ever pvp battle between my friend group of four after beating the first gym in Unova. We had a tradition that whenever we beat a gym, we would have a tournament-style battle amongst ourselves and the winner got bragging rights. While I was a very avid fan of pokemon, I will say I looked forward to those battles more than aspects of the main game. Granted, I did not win the first, but on a winning streak now. Fifth gym in, and got four wins under my belt haha.

This, like the Weather turn count, is something we've been asking for a long time. And honestly, making the PvP simmilar to showdown is not a problem. Also the showdown is not a problem(china server even had a PokéMMO format, this a lot of experienced players are aware of.).

My most memorable PokeMMO memory is finding my first shiny, which was Nidorino. I have been a shiny hunter in the OG games for many many years. The shiny odds of PokeMMO always intimidated me, but I liked the aspect of shiny hunting with other players. I avoided this game for many years because I didn’t like the idea of how high the shiny odds were. But I realized that when you get a shiny on a cartridge it’s exciting, but there is no one really to show it off to or celebrate with. I decided I was going to shiny hunt one Pokemon in PokeMMO just to try it out. The shiny took many months and many hours to get and a whopping total of 138,391 encounters, but it was totally worth it! I am now on a shiny hunting team [Äv] and only shunt in PokeMMO nowadays. I now have 5 shiny OTs and am continuing to shunt daily. The social aspect of this game is what makes it amazing. Having others to help motivate you, cheer you on, celebrate with, and just chat with in general is what sets this game apart.
