Hello! I have just finished all 4 regions couple of weeks ago and was grinding for my first competitive team. First I bought lv 100 2x31 typhlosion, a low level drought torkoal and a low level prankster whimsicott with tailwind and paired them with my lv 100 starter swampert that knows rock slide. I could do ~16 gyms in an hour with amulet coin and earn upto 200k. Then I switched to rich trainer rematches with a lv 100 2x31 payday persian and earned about 175k an hour with amulet coin (excluding morimoto). Although the difference is of ~25k the ease of trainer rematches is incomparable to gym rematches. In gym rematches you have to worry about fake outs, prankster will o wisp, gliscor's dig, wobbuffet's destiny bond, rock slide missing, multiscale dragonite, eviolite chansey, flash fire pokemons or the opponent pokemon straight up not killing lv 20 whimsicott. On top of that you can do the run only once a day due to cool down while the trainer rematches can be done 3 times a day totaling upto 500k (including morimoto). The point of this thread is for you to consider rich trainer rematches if you are facing same problems I faced in gym rematch runs, otherwise do what you feel most comfortable with. Thnx!

When you buy mons/items in GTL there is a confirmation will show up asking you "Are you sure you want to purchase-" which is very nice, but when you sell Pokémon/Item there is no confirmation about the price you type which a lot of players make mistakes in pricing. I hope in coming updates they can add a confirmation for GTL sellers.

Hi and thanks for your recommendation! Perhaps you could consider posting a guide showing the runs you're using (ie which trainers you battle and approximate times)? Personally I'd love to be able to earn almost as much as a gym run with less effort and to repeat that more often.

I just realized recently how bad this oversight is. It is a HUGE problem imo. I've actually been burned 3x now for around 100k each time for lack of confirmations. You can laugh at user error, but interface design should prevent glaring problems. The biggest issue is touch screen devices, it's WAY too easy to accidentally hit sell when trying to change the DEFAULT $100 price! And when you make that mistake, as I found out, it gets bought literally instantly, you have no time to even cancel your listing. Tbh it's almost designed to cause this pain to people. :( And the default sell price should probably have no value (certainly not $100!) or it just shouldn't light up the sell button until the user has modified the price. This is extremely easily fixed by any of these methods. And somewhat as bad, as the NPC shop not having Buy Confirmation. This has also burned me. Touch screen might not register your item selection, so you hit buy without double checking and end up with some useless $30k TM that you have try and dump for $2k. I pray to the devs to resolve this! <bows> (also praying this lack of confirmation wasn't set up as an intentional money sink...)

I have a solution, stop playing this game. And if you do play, just realize that you will most likely end up playing the ladder for rewards that literally don't matter, either that or shiny hunting? Idk. Devs obviously don't care, why should we? There are plenty of games out there.
