Serperior currently has June usage of 1,20% in OU. Contrary takes 73,68% of Serp's usage so it's safe to say this usage is after the update and the Overgrow is before the update. By this, it is reasonable to assume post-update Serp's usage for whole June has been 1,2% * 0,7368 = 0,88%. Update was released 24th of June, which means Contrary Serp has been available for 6 days, which is 6/30 days of June so 1/5th of the available days in June. If it is assumed Contrary Serp was available for the whole month, Contrary Serp's usage would have been 4,4%. And this all is also despite the fact that during the event people play matchmaking far less so less usage accounts to the statistics after the event was released, as well as Serp's being less available for less wealthy players due to expenses. TL;DR It is already evident that Serperior is going to OU. Just ban it from the UU in the meantime so people don't have to teambuild against a broken threat that will be guaranteed to leave the tier anyways in a month of two.

The UFO Hat was considered 'underwhelming' by many, which is a shame, because personally I rather like it. The triggerable animation I believe is just what it needed for it to realize its full potential. We're currently celebrating PokeMMO's 10th Anniversary, now would be the time, if any, to give a few items some additional love in a way that some players have been asking for. I do understand where you're coming from, but I'm not looking to get into a perpetual cycle of 'improving' every vanity, and further still - not every vanity can be improved in a way that doesn't feel forced. At the end of the day it's just intended to be a bit of fun flavor.

Welcome to PokeMMO Gym Challenge Tables of content: -Main Thread ES/FR/PT/FI/CN/GER Translations Donations Discord Link: https://discord.gg/6xxzjBMqpf What is this? This is a seasonal event which has 8 gyms, 8+ gym leaders, 8 badges and a whole load of regular trainers who will help stop the challengers getting to the gym leader. Details: This seasonal will last 8 weeks. There will be 8 gyms in total controlled by real teams in game. Each gym will have at least 1 gym leader and a whole load of regular underling trainers trying to stop a challenger battle the gym leader. Defeating the gym leader will give you the gym badge, however, in order to battle the leader you will need to beat 5 of the regular players from that gym. If you lose to the leader, you will have to wait 3 days before you can challenge again. If a team wishes to run a gym, they will need to purchase one (more information on this below). Once the 8 weeks are up, there will be a finale tournament. Players who obtained all 8 badges will receive an invite. There will be at a minimum of 16 players invited. If 16 players do not obtain all 8 badges, it will fall to the players with the next highest amount. This event will be ran on a discord server. Everything from finding a gym battle to checking how many badges players have will be found on there. Hello, How about making the Sprites for Secret Shiny Pokemon distinct from regular shiny Pokemon? Maybe they're a different color? Maybe they glow similarly to Alpha type Pokemon? They're already hard enough to obtain, so why not make them even more special and unique? -Reck

People posting on forum being a minority are not representative of the Playerbase, therefore there is bias in answers. Based on the success of the franchise we can say that Megas and other additions have been exciting for the vast majority of players. Regarding MMO integration devs have shown to be able to balance gameplay following evolution of original games. Evolution of the meta is possible as long as people are willing to give it a try, finding new adaptations along the way. Being open to new additions seems to be a positive mindset.

I thought the team needed at least one team tournament win to be able to enter. I might remember that wrong. If so I'm so sorry. Edit: To clarify things, I did not want to trash talk NoHa nor exclude you. I'm quite sure that the current line up of yours is capable to win this and it would be a shame to not let you, Vow or another good newer team play because of the ruleset that was made up last event.

Allow me to try to explain why this creates an unhealthy loop. Let's suppose, by the given example, Serperior won't be used in OU cause it is not good enough. Let's also suppose that, to avoid it from happening, we remove something from Serperior, to make it usable in other tiers. Problem 1: If we complex ban Serperior, then by the same argument we are forced to complex ban every other Pokemon in the same circumstances (Aka not used in OU). Where or when do we draw the line? Problem 2: Let's ignore problem 1 for now and assume we complex banned Serperior. Next season there will always be something else that dropped to low usage because Serperior left. - Should we Complex ban that something else? - By the same argument yes. If Serperior was complexed because it had no usage, whatever drops enough should also be. But this creates a loop, because everytime we remove a Pokemon from OU, something else will drop enough to fill the same spot, so we would be removing stuff indefinitely. - Then we shouldn't complex ban that something else. But think about it: Doesn't this mean we shouldn't have complexed Serperior in the first place? Problem 3: State of the below tiers. If we keep dumping Pokemon from the higher tier to the lower one, we may reach a point where everything below is viable. If everything is viable, games are now decided by matchup, because it simply is not possible to cover everything that is viable at once. The result? A metagame similar to NU like an year ago, where every offensive Pokemon was so good that most matches were decided before they even started and where a lot of tournament finals ended within 5 minutes, winning whoever had the one Pokemon that 6-0'd the enemy team. But now let's ignore all this and claim: But we can just complex ban a few things and ignore the rest. Well, you can't. First, where do you draw the line? Second, this process would be subjective, therefore biased, thus while you could be satisifed with it, someone else would maybe like if a different array of Pokemon was complexed instead. Finally, to answer the post above: I may not be remembering correctly, but the only complex ban MMO tried to do (Ignoring stuff that would otherwise rise to UBER) was snorlax's Body slam in Gen3, something that opened the Pandora Box in these forums for too long and something I'd never want to face again. Sorry for the long post. This subject is really really controversial and I wanted to lay down everything I wanted to express, at once.

I believe the issue with applying a mask of sorts to a sprite, is the fact that many people use sprite mods and would require some very intense coding to cover those bases as well. I'm sure they don't want to nullify current sprite mods.

It was because tournament prize Cofagrigus had access to Nasty Plot for a while and before Sinnoh was released it had no way of getting it normally since it needed Spiritomb (I think) for the egg move.
